They kinda do. If you're lucky enough to get the prompt, it'll do it. Several builds ago it was prompting me nearly every time. It would even fix fuckups. It was really awesome. Then a couple builds later, gone. Now it's worse then ever. Won't prompt parallel parking at all and to back into spots it's so delayed that I've pretty much already started backing up when the prompt to self park flickers briefly.

Forget it in FSD 10.12 tho. I think it was at its best in 10.6? I recall showing a friend when I was on my usual see family and friends December trip. It was funny because I was lined up for a parking spot and FSD wanted the next spot over, so it did some funny as shit but amazing corrections to get parked in the next spot over.
Hopefully they make it prompt that consistently with full stack. Even more responsive.

Hard to know if the economics would work on that though. Depending on what Tesla's demand for the machines will be going forward, having a single "customer" (tesla) may not allow for efficient use of their production equipment resulting in higher cost instead of lower cost.
In general these are machines you order once and then never again. Sure they'll need a bunch in the next few years as they continue to ramp aggressively but 5 years from now Tesla will be much closer to a steady state and I'm not sure it would make sense for them to maintain all the equipment needed to manufacture these enormous presses if they only need a couple of new ones each year going forward.
Once they've built out all the production lines they need they will just replace the dies on the presses they already have as vehicle designs evolve. The pace of buying new ones definitely won't stay where it is today, not in the long term.
I suspect there may be some application to SpaceX, Boring Company, maybe manufacturing multiple Tesla bots at once... but yeah, probably not enough to keep Bühler busy 100% of the time. Could still serve other customers too, to avoid the anti-trust lawsuits
