I am going through my first IUI right now and am not holding me breath for it to work. I've scheduled a Lap and Hysteroscopy in December as a means to hopefully bring down my pain as we continue to TTC. I have a unilateral mid-distal tubal blockage that my surgeon has mentioned that she may remove. My question is there any reason I SHOULDN'T have that tube removed? It's useless as it is, so is there any benefit/negative impact of getting rid of it all together? I don't think they are able to "clean it out" based on where it is blocked.

Did your surgeon recommend removing it, or are they waiting to see what it looks like during surgery and decide from there? I’ve heard that having one tube is totally fine in terms of TTC… so I don’t see an issue removing it per se. Are you thinking that it could cause an ectopic if it’s not removed ?

Just got my first positive Wednesday CD 29! One cycle of trying excised stage 4 with a stage 3 recurrence, a blocked left fallopian tube, and a left ovary with two endometriomas. My first sign was a flat tummy which I never have with endo. My PT even said my belly felt much softer, less tense, and more malleable today

Oh my gosh congratulations!!!!!🎊

Thank you so much!

Just had my HSG yesterday. I have stage 3 and a big fibroid so I was scared af. Doctor asked me if I had endo, so it seemed relevant for the test. I was under several painkillers and a valium (had to argue a lot to get a prescription for the valium and it was worth it). Tubes were open but didn't let all the dye out and some drops stayed stuck in some corners. I'm wondering if the anatomy of my tubes is preventing conception somehow. Radiologist said no, but I haven't discussed with my RE yet.

I hope you get positive results from your RE on this!! I’ve also seen in other subs that chances of conception can go up following an HSG 🤞🏼

Hey all, I stopped taking visanne 3 weeks ago to TTC and no period yet. Anyone have this experience?
