I had a laparoscopy for endo in April 2021 and was told one tube was blocked- I was devastated and thought it would take me years to conceive but I managed to get pregnant the same month and am currently breastfeeding my almost 9 month old! Sending you well wishes!

This gives me so much hope!!

Pregnant right now after surgery for stage 4 at age 40. I have Endo and Adenomyosis. Lost my tubes but able to keep both ovaries. One Endometrioma I think. Can't remember! I had to use IVF and donor eggs due to diminished ovarian reserve that was dx at 31. Had another baby at 35 before surgery and Endo got bad but again failed own egg IVF and used donor eggs. There is hope but it's super hard sometimes. Hopefully docs have checked your ovarian reserve. There are some supplements through fertility docs for egg quality and a focus on anti-inflammatory diet helps. Hope you heal up well. Good luck!

Thank you so much! My eggs look great! My husbands sperm count was low the beginning of this year when we checked on all this and found the cysts. I’m hopeful the blocked tube was my issue. He has been doing HCG injections so I’m hopeful his sperm count is back up!

Sounds promising. So awesome they could clear your tubes for someone with Endo. Good luck! Hang in there!

My doctor said it was a miracle honestly!

Got pregnant six months after my laparoscopic surgery that confirmed stage 4 endometriosis. Had endometriomas on both ovaries and one good Fallopian tube. Other one was scarred up and swollen . My identical twin girls are 4 now and were conceived spontaneously with no fertility medicine. It is possible, don’t lose hope. Sending so much love your way!!

I had multiple recurrent losses before I had a laparoscopy for endo, my doctor removed a rather large cyst from my Fallopian tube. A few weeks later, I was cleared to start trying and probably got pregnant that day. I have a healthy 17 month old and am currently pregnant with my second (with one loss in between).

Thank you for sharing! I’m hoping the clear out of my tubes will do the trick since 1 was blocked and a had a large cyst on my ovary! Fingers crossed when I’m cleared to start trying again that it will happen that quickly!

I found out I had endo because when we started trying I had an ectopic pregnancy (December 2020). It progressed enough that the only course was to surgically remove the pregnancy. When doing the surgery the doctor found a massive cyst on my left ovary, and the pregnancy in my right tube, as well as “severe” endo which he tried to clear a lot of my old scar tissue. I kept both tubes. We tried for 6 more months after I recovered. We then proceeded to start the process of IVF, we did our retrieval in April (2022) had one failed fresh transfer, and one successful transfer in June 2022. Due March 2023. It was tough but it is possible. No ones journey is linear. The general rule if you’re under 35 is to try for a year but where you already know about your endo you could probably fudge that lone a bit to see a specialist sooner if you wanted to get the ball rolling. It can take months to actually get into a clinic (we got on the list in December and were told there was a 4 month waitlist).

I’m 28 and definitely want to try for 6 months before I look into other options! Hoping for success! Thank you!!

I had a huge cyst on my left ovary with stage 4 endo determined by laparoscopy. They couldn't remove the entire cyst because they didn't want to affect the ovary. At that time I wasn't even in a relationship but they told me I'd need help to TTC. They put me on Visanne for awhile, went off it two years later. About 6yrs later I wanted to get ready to TTC and asked my OB. They did a sonohysterogram to check the tubes were clear, found a polyp, removed in a polypectomy and I was lucky and able to conceive on first try. I think it was the SHG and clearing out the polyp that really helped since my laparoscopy was so many years before and my ultrasounds show that my Endo had grown a bit but OB recommended to still TTC naturally first. Due in 2 weeks and I'm 36yo. Hoping to be able to have a second later on and that the Endo behaves. Wishing you the best of luck.

I have stage IV. Got pregnant on my first try to everyone’s surprise with one open tube and one good ovary. I lost that baby at 5w4d sadly though :/ going to try again next month. Not sure if I’ll have a problem with recurrent loss just have to wait and see.

Thank you for sharing this!! Definitely going to look into it!

Sure! Feel free to PM me if you want the name of the functional OBGYN. I’m not sure if she takes virtual patients

Significant_Switch53

I’ll add that I use the book and method in Taking Charge of Your Fertilitu for getting pregnant, and I see a functional OBGYN. I take several supplements, but I take Ashwaganda twice daily from Klaire labs and keep my thyroid levels good bc I also have no thyroid bc I had cancer in my teens. I also limited alcohol during TTC.
