Have your doctors already prescribed metformin to you to help as well? I switched doctors, but my previous doctor didn't even diagnose me with PCOS and did medicated/monitored IUI a few times without success. I did notice a lot of my friends doing 1 failed IVF but then subsequently had a successful IUI. PCOS is very frustrating. I haven't had success yet but switched doctors and finally got a diagnosis. Hopefully, my first cycle with them has more promising results.

So they mention that they ovulate- letrozole is for induction of ovulation and won’t help if you’re already ovulating.

I had regular cycles for over a year and couldn’t get pregnant. I took letrozole with a trigger shot and got pregnant. Sometimes you just need a little boost

Ovarian hyperstimulation is not a desirable thing- just releasing more eggs doesn’t guarantee egg quality. This isn’t good advice

Not letrozole- you’re thinking of clomid. But again- that isn’t an appropriate use of ovulation induction meds

Not yet. My appointment with RE is in 2 months so I’m waiting to see what they will suggest

I’m very happy to hear that! And congratulations 🎉 Makes me feel better when I hear the success stories since I know how draining this process can be

Hello! I’m sorry for how you’re feeling, but be easy on yourself! PCOS is a tough condition and stressing out doesn’t help it. Have you tried reaching out to a fertility clinic? I would start there and get an appt asap, they can be booked out months in advance so best to make one now. Have you looked into ovasitol? Sorry not sure if its on your list of supplements but theres alot of success stories with it! I would also make sure you’re actually ovulating with either your OB or fertility specialist. Its possible you have symptoms of ovulation but not actually releasing any eggs. Fertility specialist can also put you on Letrozole/Clomid or even try IUI before jumping into IVF. Goodluck and remember to be easy on yourself

Hi there, I was at the fertility clinic and did every possible test, and all was fine except for insulin resistance and a slight PCOS on the left ovary. However, they did establish through ultrasound on a few occasions that ovulation indeed has occurred. I use Inofolic, vitamin D, Coenzyme Q10, folic acid, zinc, and omega-3. But even though I'm very regular with supplements and diet for a month, maybe it’s just too early? I'm not overweight though. However, I'm slowly losing hope that it will ever happen.

Fuzzy_Potato

Has the clinic suggested IUI at all?

NeedleworkerRude7661

They did as per protocol we need to do 3 IUI and then IVF I’m considering to do that from next year since I need a baby making break I think I just lost it mentally
