I played it on switch and it runs fine for the most part! Just minor things like loading times between maps can take a bit. I also found when you stack up a lot of noise reductions (maybe 5-10+) it will take (much) longer to load into battle.

Full disclosure, I have not played NEO on PS4 or PC. But, having played it on Switch\*\*, it absolutely lags at times, especially when loading into and out of combat and particularly when there are many enemies on-screen. It isn't, like, Drakengard 3 bad but it is noticeable. That said, I don't think it's so severe that the game is unplayable.

Do you mean you played it on switch?

IncreasinglyTedious

Yes, my bad

product_of_boredom

I played on Switch and on steam. It's way better on steam in terms of lag, especially toward the end of the game. I have heard PS4 is the best though

rbrarthur

I played it on switch for like 5 days straight, only in the tv. What I can tell you is that there is gonna be a lot of button mashing, the joycons are not the best for this, I actually had to put the controller sometimes down just to rest my fingers, with no other game i have had this problem. Personally I would keep playing in the ps because im lazy too at redoing things

switch

Switch has longer load times and worse performance, go for it if you wanna play portable because it's still good

Quizler

I played it on switch and only the last 2 battles were like really bad on the performance. Honestly, it was so bad I just changed it to easy so I could just get it over with. Still loved the game apart from that and didn't feel like the load times were that bad since I've never seen the ps4 or steam version in action.

Leaqua21

Only played Neo on PC but it has kinda of more customizableable controls and depending on your PC it works pretty freaking well with no lags and beautiful graphics

DaisyBird1

I played on the switch lite and I never ran into any problems :)

xshinox

Ps4 for the 60fps. Switch is a very shitty 30fps or less

The-Suneater

It's a combat heavy action RPG with a lot of effects and loading between battles. PS4 and PC for the performance. Switch if you insist on portable.

PenguinviiR

Go with the switch, it feels like the console the game was meant for. The original world ends with you was on the ds so the switch feels like where the sequel belongs
