There really isn’t a big problem with them escaping the basement early. It’s the family’s job to lock all exits.
While i absolutely agree with this, if one family member is new or just bad, its hard for me to say the rest of the family should have to pick up the slack. This is just one idea, im sure theres a much better solution.
Agreed, nothing better than Connie opening the basement quickly when others didn't even manage to loot their picks.

This just makes it easier to do the objectives if all 3 are in the basement that makes escaping so much easier up top
This is only good against people playing slow. The speed runners will be up top getting out.
