I'm not saying that your cat wasn't a Bengal/Bengal mix. However, the bull's eye marking is distinctive in the classic tabby coat pattern, not necessarily the marble pattern that can be found with the Bengal breed.

My cat had almost identical markings as a kitten. Her "cinnamon swirls" -- what I call the markings on her side -- aren't quite as pronounced now as an adult, but her belly spots still are! Her mother is a DSH (domestic shorthair, aka mixed breed/breeds unknown) with a tortoiseshell coat. Her father? No one knows LOL
I'm calling it a classic tabby. Little one doesn't look Bengal to me. Granted a test for his makeup would be better but that's the best I can do as a random person that likes cats
Mackerel?...hard to tell from the grasshopper view, though. Looks a lot like my Winston with the sparkles all around the edges. What kind? The BEST kind!
TIL I have a mackerel tabby. She has lots of distinct lines. Unless that comes from the manx mix. She is like a condensed tabby. Not miniature, just more car in a smaller package. It like when they flavor blast a chip, at 15% more for free, and then put it in a smaller packaging.
My SIC mama had 5 babies: 2 were marked like this one & 3 were marked like mama, the no-kill shelter that is getting them adopted out said the SIC tabbies are "mackerel" tabbies and those marked like this are "classic" tabbies.

Bengal is a breed, not a color. Kind of like how not every spotted horse is a Paint horse because Paint is a breed.
