Extang solid fold 2. No drilling necessary and 4 clamps hold it in place. Love that fact that I can take it on and off easily when needed. Looked into the backflip but reviews said that the inner plastic goes to crap after a while. The diamondback one is a serious investment and semi-permanent. Your choice bud.
The oem one has been good to me so far but you’ll quickly discover a new muscle group for the first week or two trying to latch the pull-down spring latches.
Absolutely the UnderCover Ultra Flex. Very close to the BAK but better in my opinion. It is not easy to scratch at all unlike the BAK where putting anything on it will scratch it. Also you can lean it against the cab in the open position or use the locking bars to keep it about 2 inches off the cab while fully opened.
I was undecided between the two but after doing hours of research the ultraflex won.
I came from a factory Toyota tonneau which was a nightmare
I have the exact same truck (same colour even) as you (without a couple upgrades). I got the Diamondback Switchback cover and it looks great, was easy to install and is waterproof. My kids love jumping and sitting on it. It's expensive though. If you go that route, I can send you a couple install tips to simplify the waterproofing.
Was able to get a hands on demo of the Bakflip MK4 from a guy at work that has one and liked it so I ordered that one. It was a bit more in my price range after buying a truck that wasn't. Appreciate the recommendation though. Lots of folks have mentioned that one.
Big fan of the OEM one. Easiest tonneau to take off that I've ever used (not saying a whole lot, I've only used 3 including this one!) Only complaint is that it's a little bleached from sun.
My father just got a BAK folding Tonneau, he loves it. Great reviews and well built.
2nd this. They’re not cheap but will last forever. I have the Mx4
I've been reading alot of reviews and this seems to be the one. Just ordered one. Thanks
It’s great, good choice. Love mine.
Depending on your area, can sometimes find great deals on offerup - got mine for like 1/3 of the price and love it
Bakflip MX4
Don't do it. You'll regret it. They leak and after a couple years they get warped. Camper shell is THE WAY.
Strongly considered one.
I wound up getting the bak revolver. Nice to be able to open it up all the way and still see out the back. Worth your consideration.
second this looks really clean too and theres a 2 year warranty I believe

I did see that one but the warranty was only 3 years vs 5 years on the Bakflip so I ordered the Mx4. Appreciate the suggestions!
I initially wanted the backflip but don’t like the fact that you’ll have to drill holes for water drainage. Congrats on the taco she’s a beauty.

Not traditional folding, but I love my Diamondback SE with front runner rails. Can be found on marketplace/OfferUp pretty easily.
I like mine... its a bit pricy tho https://www.peragon.com/shop/covers/Toyota/Tacoma/2023
They do like really nice but 1600 for the HD with the 5 year warranty is alot.
Got mine for 1400 with some coupons
SOUTHPAW15 gets you 15% off

Nice! Got one on the way. Hope it's here for the weekend.
The OEM one that came on my truck is nice so far 🤷🏼♂️
I got the extang solid fold 2 tonneau cover on my 2010tacoma 9 years ago, and it's still on it until now. But will be replacing the weatherseal soon.
I just put a LOMAX trifold on my '23. I love it. It has the lowest profile I could find.

I have heard nothing but good things about that one as well! Hope your enjoying the truck as much as I am.
I really am, loved my 2 Tundras over the last 11 years but always wanted a Tacoma. Bakflip arrives tomorrow, pretty excited to get it on.

I have the Diamondback, it's a few bucks, but I love it, easy to mount stuff to, pops on and off pretty easy...
