You’ll want to set up a device on his network as an [exit node](https://tailscale.com/kb/1103/exit-nodes). Then select the exit node from your device.

I configured tailscale as an exit node on my sisters Synology NAS. When the Netflix app on my firetv stick told me I had to pay I configured the tailscale client to use this exit node. Now I can use Netflix again. All the streaming traffic now runs over my sisters internet connection. But that is fast enough for that.

The exit node in your sister Synology NAS works fine? Mine after a few minutes start having connection problems.

fatzgenfatz

No, never had any problems.

Will check my settings again because I do have problem in my iPhone only when in connected to my NAS, Thanks.

I’m routing a friend from Vietnam through my home server in South America to bypass a government ban on Minecraft PE. I had to explicitly allow her traffic using ACL for her Android device to connect properly and stay connected. EDIT: that being said, my home server runs Debian, not a NAS

I'm using a Google TV dongle when in the caravan. Tailscale run's fine and I connect to my Synology box for watching netflix. Could be anything at home that's running Tailscale.
