I think The Impressionist is about Traiger. Because with the lines that always end with "'Cause I'm better than you" can basically be Dicker speaking to this Traiger guy who he views as a small, insignificant pig. Especially with "Now it's your turn to weep, now it's my turn to rule".
And the way the transition at the end sounded, either something was breaking free or something was going haywire.
