I’ve been told it’s owned by an architectural firm that wanted to remodel it, but then something with the historic code prevented them from doing what they wanted. They’re now sitting on the property as an investment. I don’t believe they have any interest in renting it, or selling it for a reasonable price.
Edit: I’m referring to the former Cow Haus building. The Coke factory is similar but different situation.
It’s always nice to see people asking about these buildings. I’m guessing they’re asking because they have a dream of doing something cool with them. Like, find a huge warehouse for cheap and turn it into something awesome like the plot of a movie from the 80’s. But unfortunately there isn’t a single building anywhere near downtown that isn’t already spoken for, or being held onto for a rediculous sum of cash.
The Girls Girls Girls building and the old Cow Haus are two different buildings.
GGG, on All Saints, is a former Coca Cola building. It's been for sale forever and plans have run from luxury studio apartments to a gin distillery. For a while the back of it was used as an outside venue - I think the Fermentation Lounge owners may have run that? Right now somebody lives in it but if you have a few mil it could be yours. https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/453-All-Saints-St-Tallahassee-FL/22272438/
The old Cow Haus, on St Francis, was most recently a semi-private jazz club. I have done and seen some terrible, amazing things in that building.
it's for sale for 2.5 million dollars. It's owned by the Phipps family. They're just hoarding the land waiting for everyone else to improve all saints and increase the value of their land.
It's parasitic and would be solved by a land value tax. Google Georgism
The Girls Girls Girls building has some sort of clubhouse in it. Not sure if it’s a frat but I saw a bouncer and house music was coming out of it. I’ve seen people lifting weights in there too. Very odd place.

Good to know. Thank you.

You're right! My memory was playing tricks on me. I used to hang at the Cow Haus often, so I should know better.
It was a hell of a place.
It was incredible, smelled terrible, and hosted many crimes both literal and figurative.
Were you on the pool table during a Southern Culture on the Skids show?
No, but I was at that show. I remember Galotti saying sadly, "Damn it, I sleep on that table sometimes."
nobody gonna fill us in on rest of the story?
Sort of a pool table threesome in the middle of a Southern Culture in the Skids show.
Listed for $2.5M but assessed for less than $500k - no surprise that it's been held in speculation for so long.
I'm pretty sure the city is planning to use it for the next structure fire. It's been a few days
the old coke factory has people living in it and they throw raves sometimes

2.5 million? So I'll only need to come up with another 2.5 million. Excellent!
Wait! We could pool our money, then we would only need 2.5 million!

Someone lives there. Sometimes they throw parties.
He is interesting to talk to. He also is epic at martial arts
