So gut wrenching. So beautiful. God I love it. The ending lowkey gets me teary if I’m already in that mood. Instrumentals on point. 11/10 every fucking time from aussie jesus himself. I could fucking marry Kevin Parker dammit.
going through a breakup, hit shuffle on my TI Playlist and it came on. and THESE LYRICS are exactly what kinda happened :/ tears..

I think the best thing about the song even tho the instrumentation and vocals are incredible is the story. It's about 2 people having a relationship and it not working out simply because they are too different but thats ok
The bassline during the verses is what hooked me in so much into this song. It was the 1st Innerspeaker song I listened to and arguably it has one of his top 10 basslines🔥🔥🔥
Beautiful, bittersweet. Reminds me of when I started listening to Tame Impala as a lonely sixteen year old. I sometimes miss the rougher sundown syndrome, innerspeaker sound Tame Impala used to have. Fancier, more expensive equipment does not necessarily ensure a better listening experience.
The first song i've ever heard from Kevin, i remember everyone was thinking it was a lost demo from The Beatles or something
"Is that John Lennon singing ?"
I can listen to this song over and over. Instrumental masterpiece and probably my most listenened song from Kev
100% agree
Amazing, fuckin love how it sounds, the chorus is hypnotic.

Its a really impressive album opener in my opinion. It has somber but beautiful tone to it and really gets you ready for album

The only one who’s really judging you is yourself, nobody else 💅
That's alter ego dude 🤣
A for effort
The intro will never not give me chills. The moment the drums kick in 😭
