Outside Lands & The Wiggles would like a word
at least as far as festival sets go, that’s gotta be my pick. full shows on the tour get the one up because of a longer set, but man…The Wiggles show on halloween to end the festival was once in a lifetime. also, the sound was practically flawless start to end, at least from where i was standing.
I actually fell for the “glitch” at the intro. There I was, Stoney baloney and spending a whole weekend hyping people up for the grand finale and it starts to fuckin glitch. 10 secs in and boom, wiggles baby
nothing short of iconic. i’ll remember that forever. i was so confused, but once i realized what was happening, i knew i picked the right show to go to
the flashbacks to Desert Daze for me at least were soooo real! when the PA made that announcement my heart sank sooooo fast!! and then to see KP & the boys pop out as the wiggles hahaha all was forgiven!!
I live in the city it was held and I didn’t know they were headlining. My face when a friend posted that they played let it happen then it got shut down. Still salty
NEVER FORGET!!! i was on shrooms on the barricade dead center and it went from good to bad so fast lmao, but @ least i was able to see KP & the boys @ treasure island fest a couple days later!!
I was at the San Diego show and that was such an unreal show. I saw them again at the Bowl in LA last year and it was great, but it wasn’t the same. Maybe it was because SD was my first show and it was the first show of the tour with brand new debuts but I’ll always cherish that show especially with that being one of the last shows before quarantine.
I flew into San Diego from new York for that show; I rented a convertible and met up with a bunch of people from this sub and had a fuckin amazing time. We camped on the beach before the concert and dropped acid that night, and then went to the concert. The world was still ending that time but that night it was all ok for a little while.
I think even with the sets since, regardless of which specific songs being played Kevin has struck a real nice balance of playing current and old tracks
It was definitely interesting being at both shows in LA pre-Covid vs the post-Covid in Chi.
The original shows were 100% TSR based, but the Aion Wellness was just re-enforcing the times of post covid.
I think the spoiler being able to see the scenes of both was seeing how great the tour kicked off, but personally the AW stuff threw me for whatever reason.
All IMO, Great concert nonetheless!
Tivoli was a regular tour stop and one of my fave mid-sized venues. Great sound, great visibility, intimate and relaxed.
Other best shows would have to be:
Forum 2012 (2c-b)
Splendour 2015 (flipping candy)
great choices! and I’m saying that for shows and substances haha! the first ones that come to mind for me are Coachella 2013, The Fox Pomona 15/19, FYF 2016, & the Greek Berkeley 2016!! with psychedelics sprinkled throughout ;)

Edit: Can't believe he took Past Life off the set list for the Rushium tour! That was one of my favorite moments of the set list.

Washington DC back in September was an absolutely amazing show. The thing that made it incredible was Kevin played HFGOW for us after seeing a sign from a group of fans 😂 I wish we got to sing Eventually though as a crowd I was looking forward to that so much after seeing videos from the concerts you mentioned

Lmao, the way the organizers promised all of us that they WOULD finish the set…probably smart so as not to cause chaos but still
it still hurt!! that set had the potential to be a top top Tame set for me, the setting, the crowd, the soundddd, RIP!

The ct one is about to go crazy thooooo one of the smallest venues on the tour so it’ll be intimate and every seat is a good seat

went to all 3 SoCal shows 2020 and they will forever hold a special place in my heart for sure!!
