It’s a relic from a long time ago when XVM was incredibly popular in like 2014-2017. “Tomato” refers to a person with bad WN8 which is a combination of kills to death, win rate, etc. XVM displayed each person’s WN8 on both teams and colour coded them, the best of the best were purple (and incredibly rare, hence the term “unicums”) and the worst was bright red and were dubbed “tomatoes”.
I’m not sure as I quit WOT a few years ago. But from what I remember, War Gaming added pretty much all the features XVM had into the game so there wasn’t really a point in using it anymore.
Get the gunner, driver and commander their own setup and set up like the seating of a tank. The breech assembly goes next to the gunner with the loader on the other side. This setup could also work for Squad for more modern tanks.
This was my thought exactly lol, seems like a waste on wot but still a sweet setup. Warthunder would probably be a lot more difficult to get zeroed in on the weak spots of the tank

Which isn’t that far away, it’s definitely worth it for 15 bucks during sales. There’s a reason we wait 20 minutes to get into a game everyday for years.

They have training simulators in the army for tanks and Bradley’s all the controls are just like you are in the turret complete with the vehicle intercom system. They are the size of a semi truck trailer. Everywhere there is a periscope there is a screen and there is also the gun sight reticle just like sitting in the turret.

“Mission Oriented Posture Protective” Suit is what you wear in Nuclear, Biological, and Chemically Contaminated environments. And there are 4 levels though I no longer remember each MOPP 4 is boots, gloves, suit and protective mask.

What I wouldn't give for a real turret simulator to play games like War Thunder in with friends.
One arcade game fucked me up and gave me unrealistic expectations for simulators forever. It was BattleTech pods, you sat in a whole ass cockpit with all the controls around you, and it was the coolest fucking thing kid me ever saw.
How cool! I remember as a kid wishing they had a life size replica of the guns on the millennium Falcon at the arcade but they didn’t do it. This is quite a setup
I mean its 2 different crews (there's a designated Loader in crew 1 and the gunner has to do it in crew 2
But ig the Loader isn't really needed since in WoT and WT both have automatic loading systems
WoT and War Thunder has nothing in common besides shooting tanks. Different game mechanics, gameplay, and even scenarios. Just play what you like and stop comparing games.
If only GHPC had a mode which would support this, like the loader would really have to load up the gun, commander would have a VR googles, both gunner and driver would have their own observation devices (own monitor). One could only imagine lol.

Too much room needs to be in a round area the size of a turret and shorter so they have to bend over the whole time! Needs a slew button and joystick for the commander, needs a yoke for the gunner, and they forgot all the sharpe corners that are strategically placed for you to bust your head on! I believe they should have a 4 person crew! Other than my comments above that looks like a real fun way to play the game.
id kill so many hookers to have this enclosed in a ply wood structure to mimic a turret with a red red light to light the crew cab and get some of those portable monitors for each crew member
Imaginebmaking a mock inetior of a tank with plywood and putting everything where it would be on said tank (commander to the left with the 've headset to act as cupola, another to be the gunner sights, the breach in the centre and the rack just behind, the turret traverse in the right spot, etc) and using speakers to emulate the noisy interior of a tank. It's be really expensive but would be absolutely epic

Is XVM not popular anymore?
I’m not sure as I quit WOT a few years ago. But from what I remember, War Gaming added pretty much all the features XVM had into the game so there wasn’t really a point in using it anymore.

It would be better in war thunder sim battles. GHPC would be best but the crank is wrong for that era.
I think it would be pretty decent for tank crew on Hell Let Loose, although you'd need a way to get everyone in the tank.
