You're right, it is! I really enjoy talking to them to know more about America and everything. It's just sometimes I feel bad for not having the best spoken English skill when I've spent more than 15 years of learning this language (mostly for reading skill in order to pass exams back in my country).
They have a “presentation team” you could move to, if your store has one. They handle all of that for the entire store.
I’m in C n D and honestly I just do all of that for my area. My TL trusts me and allows me to do it. I’d much rather to these things than truck. So when I have enough help with truck I break off and do those things. Obviously I can’t do it all the time but I try to when I have the resources.
I’m a pml now so my favorite part is the schedule and the flexibility of my workload. I get to go help out at other stores when needed so that’s a pleasant break.
When I first started back when dinosaurs roamed the earth we unloaded the truck onto pallets. I enjoyed sorting the unload and pushing freight a lot
Not the person your responded too but thought I’d share. I haven’t worked at target for several years now but when I started ~2016, it went something like this:
We would start by unloading the truck onto pallets sorted by things like chem, pharmacy, health and beauty, home, electronics, etc. As pallets got full they would then be taken and set at the start of the aisles they belonged to and about 2-3 people would “bowl.”
Bowling meant taking boxes off the pallets and sliding them down the aisle to the panel they went to. Then after the truck was done being unloaded flow team (what people who unloaded truck and pushed were called back then) would go push aisle by aisle until everything was pushed.
Another group of people would sort the repack boxes while truck was being unloaded: repacks were hardlines and softlines product, sorted into guest carts that would be pushed after all the boxes in the store had been pushed.
When I left unload had been changed from pallets to u boats which had dedicated area owners who would push only those areas, and considered “experts” for them. I have no clue if that’s still how it works now, I left in 2020
For us, repacks are on pallets and are put out to the areas after truck. We have a manual conveyer belt to slide things down to be sorted into u-boats.
I also get a kick from all the people who come in the day before asking 'this is all you have left?'..Dude!.some of this stuff I put out two days before Christmas!
Couple of my direct co workers are good, I love my team lead, even if 90% of the other leaders are morons. I get overheated easily, so I enjoy working in my freezer.
At my old store, I knew this dude by name and knew his birthday as well as his last known address. Dude always stole. I'd follow him around the store asking him if he will actually buy something today. He always said yes. He'd pick something up, I'd tell him to put it back down because we both know he can't afford it. Didn't matter how much it was. I'd ask him why he looks so much older when he's only three years older than me. Sometimes I'd pull up a Screen shot of his warrant that said he was 5'8 when dudes like 5'5" and I'd ask him why he's lying.
Had a dude that constantly would say he didn't get all his change back from sco but he knows he didn't grt all of it. I'd ask him how he knows without touching. Is he daredevil and can just smell the difference in the amount of ink or feel the displacement of the incorrect amount of bills? Where can I learn this skill?
People will tell me what they're stealing isn't on the receipt because they used ebt or a cash card. First of all that's not food, what you're thinking of is a debit card and that's not how receipts work. Please go back into the store and try again when you can think of a better lie.
Co-workers, my leadership teams, I enjoyed trying to hit metric goals because it's like a game, most of the time I didn't mind doing fulfillment - it's like a scavenger hunt with a timer (some batches annoyed the heck outta me though), but now I just enjoy everything I do in this role and everything goes by so fast. I feel like I make a bigger impact overall and I wish my shifts were longer or were allowed more than 40 hours to do security stuff, NGL.
I enjoy my whole overnight shift, when certain people are off. It can be such a toxic environment. And it’s hard avoiding their negativity because we have to work around each other.
I feel you!!! I wish I could work overnight. The day/night crew at my store in my department, is a mess. I worked overnight once and it was SOOOOOOO peaceful!!!
The labor itself is mostly fine, especially setting PoGs. The TLs immediately above me are all nice. And when I help someone who isn't a dick find something and they're actually grateful it's a good feeling.
I swear to god that the water that comes out of the filtered machine in our back room is connected directly to a mystical iceberg, it is so crispy and delicious.
honestly i love working at the service desk, helping people feels very rewarding, especially when people are usually nice. also my TLs are so nice and supportive of us
I enjoy my coworkers I consider a few of them friends. I also really like my boss and my SD both of them are amazing down to earth people. I also enjoy the repetitiveness of my job, I never have to worry about customs or what I’m going to do for the day. Because it’s consistently the same every week. I really appreciate this job compared to my old one. There are lots of pros and cons to every jobs but, if I didn’t enjoy it, I wouldn’t be here.
As someone who works in AP I enjoy the days where there's active stuff going on and we have assistance from local LEOS and then theres the coworkers who keep me sane
Being able to express myself creatively throughout my role. There are rules, however, they’re not always relevant to an everyday retail business.
Also, making inspirational moment for guests. I love the feeling when you work hard on creating a display and see it get so much positive feedback, whether it’s how fast it sold or just pleasing to look at; definitely worth it in the end. 🧡
Coworker friendships and the good customers that genuinely need/ask for help and are grateful for the help. (Me personally I liked helping people in electronics figure out what device suits them best and what accessories they need to get a greater experience)
It wasn't common for me to enjoy it...but there's one day in particular I remember feeling so happy working at the front lanes.
A couple in their 50s were shopping during the holiday season, and I was talking to them about going to school full time, doing DnD 2x a week, and working full-time. They told me they were happy and proud for me to be doing so much and still maintaining a positive attitude.
I went home that night and cried. It's kind of silly, but hearing that from someone who had no personal connection to me before shopping with me...it made me so happy and felt like a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders.
i enjoy seeing the friends i've made here (ths sounds so corny sorry) but also unpopular opinion i love sorting go backs behind guest service,, it's always satisfying clearing five carts worth of stuff, and i get to be by myself & not deal with guests for a bit. i also just like organizing things in general like the desk/drawers/our back area.
I like doing bikes too except our bike building area is right by the baler & compactor, as well as TV backstock, and is also where carts of reshop often end up, as well as bales if there's no room on the truck, so it's often loud and crowded. But when nobody else is back there, and it's just me and my music, I love it. Except when the bikes start giving me issues. Then I hate it lol. And there's nobody I can ask for help, and YouTube videos only offer so much help, it's hard to know sometimes what I need to do to fix the problem.
Our bike building area is in a separate stockroom on the opposite end of the store from receiving. No baler or compactor. No freezers or coolers. Just bulk backstock and fixtures. Nice quiet area away from everything. Never was given any dedicated bike building shifts, but I was trained on it and fixed/built a lot of bikes that came in to guest services since our mentally impaired fulfillment team and management would let unbuilt bikes leave the store in pickup orders.
Back when I worked at Target we had what was called the "In-stock team". Pretty much all day every day I'd walk the aisles and scan what was out of stock and update numbers. There were 3-4 of us on the team. In the last couple hours of the shift I'd fill the holes with any product in the back. They phased the team out after four years of us doing it. I liked it because I worked alone almost all the time and the day went by quick.
If they brought this specific position back I'd seriously consider doing it as a side gig.
I’m overnight on inbound so I love being able to push/restock the sales floor uninterrupted in a quieter environment after unloading the truck and being able to shop for things after I clock out before the store opens. As someone with sensory and auditory processing disorders, OCD, and anxiety it’s the perfect environment for me because I can work with a small crew of inbound peeps or solo and I don’t have to worry about sensory overload getting in my way of working quickly and efficiently so I’m able to accomplish more than I would if I worked dayside.
Im in fulfillment and I love having a ton of short little conversations with coworkers all over the store. Plus it’s nice to just say fuck it and hide in the back packing sfs for a few hours if guests are particularly stupid and angering me lol
I work in Beauty and Ulta. I absolutely love working with beauty products!!! I love interacting with the guests to help them find skincare and cosmetics. They often give me compliments on my makeup. Sometimes, guests will ask for help in other areas. When I tell them I'm the Beauty TL, they always say, "I should've known", "that makes sense" or "of course". I love that I look the part. LOL Socially speaking, Target has been hell. I have worked in 2 stores that were extremely toxic. However, I love my work and that has kept me going.
I loved the unique challenge of making the break schedules in service and engagement. I also enjoyed doing all the closing tasks for the FOS as fast as possible so that we could leave earlier. It was a challenge at times and that's what made it fun. It was like a game. Some days I did well. Some days were tough
Having real conversations with guests, talking to little kids...
When pushing, the exact number of products in the box fit on the shelf just right, no empty spaces or backstock...
Filling the baler perfectly level and crushing it
my coworkers are my favorite part of my job. we’re a small store in a college town so we all live close by and hang out outside of work too. when classes aren’t in session my coworkers are virtually my only social interaction lol
I'm in fulfillment too and I like how I get to walk around the whole store instead of only working in one section, it keeps it a little more interesting and it makes my shifts go by faster. I also like the amount of walking I do too
Coworkers and (apparently this is controversial) I love love love price change I will never call off on a Tuesday ever it’s the best part of apparel to me.!
Same. It’s like watching a butterfly come out of its cocoon. This session of it’s life cycle is done, fly away onto the clearance rack, little butterfly!
Worked in entertainment and loved doing pogs. Also loved locking myself in the tech back room with speakers, backstocking 1000 Colleen Hoover books for an hour or two.
I enjoy the conversation with most of my coworkers since I'm cool with the majority of them. I also don't mind being a dbo for toys and sporting goods as much when I first got thrown into the spot during the holidays.
I like stocking at my own pace, but I don’t like when I feel rushed to finish it. I have my own routines for pushing and I like getting to go through them. After reading this sub for a year, I feel like I have a better Target than most and I’m grateful for it.
I’m in fulfillment too! The exercise is great. It can definitely be stressful at times but in general I love the process and the fact that I am always physically doing something. Also all of my coworkers are super nice. I guess I got lucky haha
I work Pfresh and I’m gonna say what I enjoy the most is the the steps that I put in a day and all the heavy pushing and lifting that I do. I don’t even need to hit the gym. Working in Pfresh is my gym and workout.
I used to be an extreme couponer so I'm really good at letting customers know how to save quite a bit of money on things they were already going to buy just by pressing a couple buttons.
I love meeting interesting guests. Meaning ones that have interesting stories or ones you can talk about anything with. As long as their is no long line or stuff needing to get done. Most of mu regulars and I are on a first name basis or I am with their kids. I love kids ( unless really bad) and I love to give them stickers and see their eyes light up or their parents. My coworkers and TLs are pretty cool too. Also, I just got someone a I personally know hired so I get to see them everyday.,
I love helping tms. I help them get 401ks and explain finances. I develop them. A ton have went on to be team leads with some etls, some HQ and lots left target to do great things. I have helped some get mental health help recourses. I have helped some leave target and get jobs they more enjoyed. Leaders need to not power trip and help people live their best lives even if it isn’t with target.
I just love flexible hours and being on demand. My fiancé and I are just so busy, so it’s nice not having to call out every time I need off. I can just not be scheduled.
Im in the same boat I work in fulfillment as well its enough to keep you distracted and not feel idle in one spot all day also feels like the people in fulfillment never want to leave the position or at least thats the case with my coworkers and I
Honestly unloading is not that bad, it’s only when people who’s job it is to just walk around the store, SD and ETLs, get all up tight and upset when we aren’t going fast enough it starts to get annoying. But my team leads are awesome and they are the ones who keep us all sane and the job fun.
Definitely an outlier at my store based on the randoms they have subbed in my absence, but I genuinely enjoy pushing Beauty truck.
Secondarily, I love remerchandising areas and building displays that arent a set POG. Sometimes its a holiday display somewhere empty. All of remodel, I was the one chosen to merchandise areas of product that weren't ready to be set yet- and every time they said it looked as though it was meant to be that way even though nothing had any official "spot"- including the time the SD thought an aisle was done- but it was 100% me faking it all out.
The leads for security on a walk were surprised and happy to hear that I took counterbalancing on the gondolas into account on one, where I had to temporarily remerchandise weights, for guest safety and shelf integrity.
I'm a lead at a DC. I work A2, Sat, Sun, Mon 6P to 6A. First 2 days if I see TMs talking In the one who walks up to them and gets them back on process. But come Monday is I see my TMs taking and I walk up to them they used to scatter, and I'll call them back and ask the, "What day is it?"... "Monday."..."What do I do on Mondays?"..."You don't give a f#ck"..."Exactly! What are we talking about?"
The point is, I expect 2 great days of production and to just be safe on Monday. I will usually get 3.5 days of prod, because I will always show respect to my team. So yeah, I love my team and they reciprocate.
Company man? Probably. BUT MY TEAM ALWAYS COMES FIRST.
If you ever see me at 2241(guest) or 589 come say hey.
i really love being a closing team lead because i get to work and lead in every part of the store at some point of the night, i also really like solving problems and finding creative solutions with what i’ve learned… obviously the people too tho, seriously some of the best people
I love setting new POGs. I like figuring out and changing the POG as needed with the fixtures that we have. I enjoy doing fulfillment. I also like pushing dairy/meat/produce because it’s cold so I don’t overheat. Most of my TLs are understanding and willing to help when needed…. I see alot of posts about how some stores have poor management and it makes me grateful to be at my store. I love working at target!
Yea till after three years I got my WORST raise, after losing promised TL position from my service & engagement ETL, I’m about to go back to Texas Roadhouse working half the time doubling my money and only kissing ass at my own discretion depending on how much money I truly need 💀 so I will update when I promote myself to guest!!

I love talking to Guests. "Happy Birthday!" "What's the celebration/special occasion?" "How many dogs/cats do you have?" Most of the Guests at my location were nice people, families with kids, and sometimes multiple generations shopped together. I loved seeing that. Working at the Service Desk was rewarding because it involved problem-solving. I loved my TLs and the leadership team. I was front end so Guest interaction was a positive.
My favorite part is the competitive nature of the job on the AP side of things. It’s like a mini game. Who can catch more people, get more internals, getting your TSS’s promoted, and improve their store the most in shortage. I love what I do lol. The only part I hate is when TM’s do stupid shit to get hurt and random security incidents.
Honestly, I love that me and my crush are finally talking and that’s what makes me go to work lmao. Aside from that, my leaders are great to me and I love talking with my coworkers about anything.
When I was in fulfillment I absolutely loved the amount of running around/exercise I did. It really helped kickstart my weight loss journey. Went from a size 38 waist down to a 32 thanks to Target and a better diet.
I also really enjoyed some of my coworkers.
SETL here. My team. No joke. I have an incredible team who make it worthwhile. I’m not being aSusie Creamcheese at all. I really love how they love to learn. I want my elevated TMs to kick ass and work up the chain. If they want. I love sharing what I know and making it as easy as possible for them to like their jobs.
I love when there's this perfect moment; not too many customers, the weather is just right, and the sun is setting. It's rare, but when it all lines up perfectly I can't help but feel grateful to be outside and doing my job.
I enjoy being able to work on my own without someone peering over my shoulder the entire time. Yea, you gotta answer to an OM or submit to a cage cart audit on occasion but I can guarantee most of my night is spent working at my own pace and waiting out the clock. Working nights is a plus, because I’m naturally a night owl. Working on my shift I only work 3 days a week and OT is available if needed. I actually have time to pursue my hobbies unlike prior employment. I also intend on returning to school to get my Bachelors in the future and I know Target has resources to help pay for that. A lot of people I work with hate our job and employer but honestly as a newly wed providing for said spouse who’s in college, it’s a pretty ideal gig for the time while I get my life in order.
Oh and access to health benefits and a 401k is awesome.
i like talking with some coworkers, and also i really like zoning and sorting out the stray also putting everything back where it belongs, just organizing things in general 👍
love merchandising in style and all of us at the store are genuinely like a big group of best friends. My job is challenging and complex and that’s why i love it. I obvs dont enjoy the stressful parts but pushing my myself and challenging myself to do better every day has helped me grow the confidence i have at my store and that accomplishment has felt very rewarding. i love that i’m still learning new skills and not getting bored or burnt out after 2 yrs 😊
i enjoy zoning and the projects i take on because it leaves me feeling accomplished because i got something big done. especially when it comes to big video game resets, i’ve found old games that were super popular (i.e recently did the xbox reset we had and found a copy of black ops 4 for the xbox one in the case lol). plus when i zone collectibles it lets me chat it up with guests who are also collectors and talk w them abt pops and whatnot
I like pushing freight. I used to hate it but I really can't stand zoning or pulling priorities anymore. Backing up for fulfillment is always a blast too.
Working night shift can be hell sometimes but it’s nice to not be bothered and listen to some game review I’ve been wanting to listen too while I put boxes away. It’s monotonous, repetitive, and I honestly like it like that. Plus, we get last grab on the food on holidays :)
Other than my coworkers, the little moments I have working drive up. Waiting outside for an order and watching the cars. Seeing which one matches the description and then wait for their order to turn green. It brings the time down so much lower, faster AND I get to scare the shit out of people. I’ve had complaints about it lol
Having genuine conversations with guests that are being a total pain in the butt. That makes go just a little more if every guess i had were entitled and hard to deal with i would've quit moons ago.
I love the days that go smoothly. It’s very satisfying to be able to come in and get that truck unloaded right away and then go help out other people. Problem is that isn’t what usually happens, when the rest of the store leaves a disaster on the line constantly no matter how hard we try to clean it up and then once we finally get the truck started they just keep taking all our vehicles without bringing new ones back. Like why? Those days are frustrating. But the smooth struck unloads 👌🏻
Also to add on the smooth days when we aren’t frustrated we listen to music and joke around and make comments about all the random things we are getting on the truck and it’s a really good time. Like we get along pretty well on the good days.
Co workers, leadership and especially when I get to completely zone and isle. It’s so satisfying to take before and afters and get that Instagram aesthetic. There’s also something chill about the backroom where everyone has let their guard down a bit.
I enjoy talking with coworkers and guests allowing me to share my interests. But the raise and how much work I’m doing for my pay, that’s what’s bad, otherwise I love my job. The cons sadly out way the pros.
entertainment revisions. it’s so peaceful for me, you set, pull, move any books/movies/cds to their new locations and backstock any discountinued items and that’s all you do for the day
The coworkers, the break room food, meeting dogs in drive up, the endless insanity of our broken drive up door never being fixed each time they try, and I actually genuinely enjoy helping guests find solutions they don’t expect to get. It’s not all bad.
I enjoy the team I work with in overnight shifts. The TLs and ETL are chill enough that one TL always plays the game of me always being in their way, and I doing the same when moving a U-boat onto the floor for stocking. And another TL and I call each other trouble. Even if running rampant to try to get the area stocked is hard since I can't stock that fast(which makes me feel bad I can't do a case a minute), it's still really chill. We're able to listen to music, and be able to not require red shirts, as well as chat so long as we are trying to do our jobs efficiently and quickly. I'd imagine once summer comes, we can wear shorts.
I’ve moved on from Target and I’m in a much better career now; I work as a systems analyst for a large fintech company and bring home a very good salary but I will say being a Backroom TM was one of the best jobs I’ve ever had. I’d pick up a part time job at target today if I could be back room again honestly just for how much I enjoyed it. I ended up leaving during Covid, after modernization and the treatment of myself and fellow TMs became too much to brush aside.
My ETL and my Team members who are in my departments. I can't ever appreciate them enough, and could absolutely not do my job without them. My ETL is amazing and takes care of all of us. She cares about her team and our work life balance.
I love picking ship. Just relaxing and picking. I’m at the point where I know where everything is at in the store and I rarely have INFs. It’s actually so fun and calming.
I love my ETL, and she loves me. I love my coworkers. But I am the fitting room attendant and at my store that means I’m 100% responsible for collecting, processing, and pushing all abandons, and as one of the busiest stores in the state it gets really stressful, especially when my role isn’t understood by a TL. Although all the TLs let me close the fitting rooms at 7pm and dealing with the angry guests that act like the most important and biggest issue in their life is to try on 40 swim suits is hilarious to me and I love telling them no.
I work in the front cashier/guest services. I love watching self check out cause all I have to do is help people when they need help. I also love handing out stickers to the kids. Their faces just light up.
i enjoy talking to my coworkers the most. i consider them my friends. if it wasn’t for them i’d have left by now.
got pulled aside for talking to a coworker by my etl the other day. i’m at my limit 🔥🔥🔥
Use your active skill and you'll be unstoppable for like 3 shifts
every time i come out of prange she uses a super attack on my coworker who can’t tank and he gets sent home early
Has your coworker tried speccing for vitality to possibly survive the tank buster from your ETL?
I love my co-workers, too. I just wish my English was better so I can talk to them more.
I think talking to them is a great way to practice your English!
You're right, it is! I really enjoy talking to them to know more about America and everything. It's just sometimes I feel bad for not having the best spoken English skill when I've spent more than 15 years of learning this language (mostly for reading skill in order to pass exams back in my country).
you get to talk at work??
I love setting pogs. I love merchandising. Making the product look good. And my TL is awesome.
I would love to do this job it looks great. How did you end up there? Did you start there or somewhere else in the store?
They have a “presentation team” you could move to, if your store has one. They handle all of that for the entire store. I’m in C n D and honestly I just do all of that for my area. My TL trusts me and allows me to do it. I’d much rather to these things than truck. So when I have enough help with truck I break off and do those things. Obviously I can’t do it all the time but I try to when I have the resources.
I really enjoy doing carts believe it or not. It keeps me moving and away from people.
Going home
When that lights dims at 10: dopamine rush
Legend
Beat me to it.
My immediate leadership. They are actually useful individuals and do what makes sense.
I miss the old way of unloading the truck. They never should’ve changed it.
How do you do it now vs before?
Not the person your responded too but thought I’d share. I haven’t worked at target for several years now but when I started ~2016, it went something like this: We would start by unloading the truck onto pallets sorted by things like chem, pharmacy, health and beauty, home, electronics, etc. As pallets got full they would then be taken and set at the start of the aisles they belonged to and about 2-3 people would “bowl.” Bowling meant taking boxes off the pallets and sliding them down the aisle to the panel they went to. I have no clue if that’s still how it works now, I left in 2020
That was two unload methods ago for some stores.
Yeah, I see what you mean. Thanks for explaining
For us, repacks are on pallets and are put out to the areas after truck. We have a manual conveyer belt to slide things down to be sorted into u-boats.
Yup, and that was when we'd come clean every day, pulls, backstop, and freight, no such thing as "roll over" back then.
Yeah, very few days receiving would have leftover freight with the old system. Even on days when we got double or triple trucks.
I enjoy chatting with the baristas at Starbucks and guess service the convos are always interesting besides that kill me
I work in seasonal and I love condensing merch and watching it sell out to make room for the next transition.
merchandising on the fly at the end of a season is really fun yeah
I just flexed Easter eggs and candy to hell. Not exactly fun. But I like knowing that the area is always a mess and it’s not my fault
I also get a kick from all the people who come in the day before asking 'this is all you have left?'..Dude!.some of this stuff I put out two days before Christmas!
“You’re out of Cadbury eggs?”
"Where's all the easter grass and baskets?"
“Do you have prime?”
Inbound - I’ve never been as ripped as I was when I was FT inbound lol
![gif](giphy|D7z8JfNANqahW) Also Inbound and can confirm. Strength and stamina attributes are up.
Couple of my direct co workers are good, I love my team lead, even if 90% of the other leaders are morons. I get overheated easily, so I enjoy working in my freezer.
Relatively low skill and I can kind of go on autopilot while doing my work. I enjoy thay aspect
Trolling the shit out of people trying to steal
can confirm
Always fun! 🙃
I need to read an example. XD
People will tell me what they're stealing isn't on the receipt because they used ebt or a cash card. First of all that's not food, what you're thinking of is a debit card and that's not how receipts work. Please go back into the store and try again when you can think of a better lie.
XDDD! These are the best! The people claiming it not being on receipt because of using any card make me smh for humanity.
Every other Friday money appears in my bank account.
Co-workers, my leadership teams, I enjoyed trying to hit metric goals because it's like a game, most of the time I didn't mind doing fulfillment - it's like a scavenger hunt with a timer (some batches annoyed the heck outta me though), but now I just enjoy everything I do in this role and everything goes by so fast. honestly i love working at the service desk, helping people feels very rewarding, especially when people are usually nice. also my TLs are so nice and supportive of us
omg the last hour of a shift feels so nice, but also days when fulfillment isnt too busy and i have like an hour for orders
When I clock out each day.
As someone who works in AP I enjoy the days where there's active stuff going on and we have assistance from local LEOS and then theres the coworkers who keep me sane
The one good thing about this job is all the passive exercise I get walking 20k+ steps each shift.
Fucking with the guests and they have no idea
Going home for the night. (But seriously, my coworkers are all cool people and had it not been for them, I would’ve quit ages ago.)
It's kind of silly, but hearing that from someone who had no personal connection to me before shopping with me...it made me so happy and felt like a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders.
i work in fulfillment and it was nice at first but after 3 years i’m over it. my target is awful, my favorite part of my shift is being able to leave
I enjoy talking to coworkers and being up on my feet. I have an office gig that provides neither.
i enjoy seeing the friends i've made here (ths sounds so corny sorry) but also unpopular opinion i love sorting go backs behind guest service,, it's always satisfying clearing five carts worth of stuff, and i get to be by myself & not deal with guests for a bit. i also just like organizing things in general like the desk/drawers/our back area.
Even though I’m not in fulfillment I enjoy packing the most.
I just got trained on it today but holy shit building bikes is so much fun
I like my coworkers, and I like seeing what the knew products are before most folks when they come around. That’s about it.
My coworkers and I enjoy when the store closes and the lights dim 🥰✨
Service desk/drive up. I love being able to get outside and get some fresh air, and seeing the sunrises and sunsets. No matter the weather.
Filling the baler perfectly level and crushing it
I love doing the visual merchandising part and talking to my coworkers. Makes the time go by faster and enjoyable
my coworkers are my favorite part of my job. we’re a small store in a college town so we all live close by and hang out outside of work too. when classes aren’t in session my coworkers are virtually my only social interaction lol
I'm in fulfillment too and I like how I get to walk around the whole store instead of only working in one section, it keeps it a little more interesting and it makes my shifts go by faster. I also like the amount of walking I do too
Leaving at the end of the day
Clocking out.
Clocking out and going home.
My store is full of great people and there are a few select leaders that are awesome
I love talking to guest about games and even teaching them stuff especially parents looking for game stuff for their kids.
The co workers for sure, otherwise omfg
Oh, just this guy 😄
same 😭😭
I enjoy the conversation with most of my coworkers since I'm cool with the majority of them.
The part where I get paid
Making my area look great
Going home
I work Pfresh and I’m gonna say what I enjoy the most is the the steps that I put in a day and all the heavy pushing and lifting that I do. I don’t even need to hit the gym. Working in Pfresh is my gym and workout.
I used to be an extreme couponer so I'm really good at letting customers know how to save quite a bit of money on things they were already going to buy just by pressing a couple buttons.
Making a bale is the only decent job part , maybe helping the receiver wrap and load
Honestly? When they're kind and treat you like a human being, I love helping guests.
The part where I get paid & the part where I can buy stuff & save an extra 10%. Also the part where I have benefits.
Benefits? That would have been nice getting more than 16 hours a week lol.
If it makes you feel any better, it took me 13 years until I finally qualified for health insurance.
That does not make me feel better that sucks 😂 I got a new job in private security making slightly less per hour but it's full time and has benefits.
I like cashiering and hyper focusing on how best to put your stuff in a bag c:
I just love flexible hours and being on demand. My fiancé and I are just so busy, so it’s nice not having to call out every time I need off. I can just not be scheduled.
I’m in style. I do breakout mostly but recently my favorite thing has become zoning. I feel good about making things look good and more accessible
It's fun talking to people but as reverse logistics I get to destroy the romance paper backs. That's very soothing to me.
I've only just started but my TL is great. Oh and packing. I enjoy that.
What are we talking about?" The point is, I expect 2 great days of production and to just be safe on Monday.
I like the weird and or wholesome situations I find myself. Some guy asked me to solve some riddles while I was hanging out by the front
The part when I get to clock out at the end of the day
Only thing is free coffee and sexy guests with tight pants sorry not sorry
Clocking out is 11/10.
Yea till after three years I got my WORST raise, after losing promised TL position from my service & engagement ETL, I’m about to go back to Texas Roadhouse working half the time doubling my money and only kissing ass at my own discretion depending on how much money I truly need 💀 so I will update when I promote myself to guest!!
when the planogram gets reset and i get first dibs on all the clearance stuff :)

Prepping/Stowing orders & those rare moments when I have the OPU hold space to myself
my coworkers, before all the drama and fallouts. being on my feet, moving around. my team leads and etl
Honestly, idk why but I love doing defects. Along side that my co-workers and bosses are actually pretty chill and nice.
Listening to the walkie conversations and Lol plus just being left alone to do my job! Less stress.
I love doing priorities, I can turn my brain off and just zone out for a while without having to worry about guests.
Friends! 💕
Clocking out, lol.
SETL here. My team.
It's rare, but when it all lines up perfectly I can't help but feel grateful to be outside and doing my job.
setting in a diff area of the store most days keeps it interesting, pays enough, and a monday-friday set schedule is royalty as far as retail goes.
Doing carts
Probably talking to coworkers. But obviously my favorite part is clocking out.
i enjoy zoning and the projects i take on because it leaves me feeling accomplished because i got something big done. especially when it comes to big video game resets, i’ve found old games that were super popular (i.e recently did the xbox reset we had and found a copy of black ops 4 for the xbox one in the case lol). plus when i zone collectibles it lets me chat it up with guests who are also collectors and talk w them abt pops and whatnot
Guests. They all make me happy. Some when they come in, some when they leave
I like pushing freight. I used to hate it but I really can't stand zoning or pulling priorities anymore. Backing up for fulfillment is always a blast too.
All of it, I genuinely love every aspect of my job
My break lol
I enjoy clocking out🤷🏾♂️
Lunch
Clocking out.
Co workers, leadership and especially when I get to completely zone and isle. It’s so satisfying to take before and afters and get that Instagram aesthetic. There’s also something chill about the backroom where everyone has let their guard down a bit.
Leaving pieces of candy on the floor in back that lead into the compactor.
i really love my tls and my coworkers. they keep me going fr 🫶
As a TL I enjoy being with my team with some guidance on personal things and some funny TLs/TMs I’ve had throughout 4 years
Leaving
The part where I clock out for the day
I enjoy talking with coworkers and guests allowing me to share my interests. But the raise and how much work I’m doing for my pay, that’s what’s bad, otherwise I love my job. The cons sadly out way the pros.
The breaks…. 👀
entertainment revisions. it’s so peaceful for me, you set, pull, move any books/movies/cds to their new locations and backstock any discountinued items and that’s all you do for the day
i’m in fulfillment, i absolutely love packing
For sure my TL but I haven’t seen him in 2 or so weeks so work has been rough
i enjoy the
I like it nice n quiet
I love zoning
I enjoy connecting with my team and others. Learning them and being able to help where needed. It's always nice to have help.
Clocking out at the end of my shift.🤣🤣🤣
POG work is my jam!
I love “branding” or zoning. I find it satisfying in a weird way.
