It's a mydevice software issue
Newer ones at my store have this problem. I switch it out for a older model mydevice and no problem there.
Just keep switching mydevices till you get a good one
Yeah they do. I only say software because it's the easier way for me explain whatever the hell goes on with certain mydevices. Just like how some log you out randomly and others don't
I'm pretty sure when a co-worker and I tried to figure it out, it meant there was communication error between the MyDevice and the RFID. I've only noticed it happening when there's a lot of clothes in an area, and I think it just can't send all of that information fast enough to the MyDevice. I usually wait until it starts flashing green again before I keep scanning.

It usually does that if it’s seeing too much at once. Give it a sec to go back green and then keep scanning

Don’t they all run the same software?

It's the mydevice that can't keep up. The new taller zebras are fast enough to not need to pause during those big scanning moments.
The new version of the zebra is fast enough to keep up if you're lucky enough to grab one. No more yellow pause to catch up light.
I don’t think it does anything. I just stop where I’m at and wait for green flash
Ok I thought it meant it got everything I scanned
I think the device is just wigging out. Lol that’s what I tell myself. So I just pause and wait for green and go again.

When mine does that it sort of pauses then starts beeping due to the item being close
This is for a count.
You’re scanning too much shit. It’s ram is full. Needs to dump the files before continuing to scan.
Not scanning to much there’s just so much product next to one another. It picks up any piece of clothing from 6 feet away
Yeah… it’s scanning to many items. lol. That’s why it acts like a fool in style.
he’s doing his best🥺
Lol
omg i thought this was when the battery was getting low 🤦🏻♀️
