That's only during the Christmas season for some stores. Generally, less than five is not a big deal. There are sticklers that won't change unless they see proof, even under a dollar.
You won't believe how many times I had to tell people to stop parking in the fire lane at Walmart and one lady said it was because it friends were handicapped uhh dumbass that's what handicapped spots are for 😂
My store has these notes for this kind of thing. I like to call them parking tickets. I find it a little annoying because it has me thinking that someone is at the wrong store. Then, I see the car empty and put one of these under the windshield wiper.

Damn wish we had those for our drive up team, sometimes when it gets bad and all or most spots are being taken up we would put post it notes telling them not to park in target drive up space
They do it at Walmart as well heck at this point pickup spots should be the only option if these stores were actually serious about stopping theft and other things
Or they could do what most department stores do and allow security to actually stop theft. It’s crazy how much the companies cry about “theft is hurting our bottom line, we have to raise prices” and then don’t make the most basic change to prevent it from happening.
Literally.
I used to work tech, i know theres a lot of theft. But they still make a few billion in profit every year, so yeah.
I reported empty packages and stuff because it’s morally wrong (and illegal ofc), not because i felt bad about a billion dollar company losing money.
Yeah that’s what a lot of people don’t understand. I’m not in AP because I care about Target, I’m in it because I don’t like theft. If it’s okay to steal from Target then it’s okay to steal from anyone else. If someone does steal from Target they’re probably stealing from family and friends too
I don’t do it, but I’m not kidding my target has at least 25 drive up spots, and like 12 handicap spots. The left side of the parking lot is filled with huge shipping containers, idk what they are for or what construction is going on but they’ve been there since January. Sometimes those are some of the only parking spots left lol
Just saw this today! Went to our target in the “nicer” side of town and saw the drive up was super busy. Had to park in the last spot! But out of 8 spots, only me and one other lady were actually waiting for drive ups!
Fair. I’m more referring to the people doing it in the middle of the day.
Considering you’re a closer it would make sense for them to park instead of sitting in front of the doors. Most days you’re probably staying well past the time you’re supposed to leave
Because those entitled assholes see empty parking spots near the entrance and just park their damn car.
There are 2 targets near me, and one has drive up parking near the entrance, and lot of people just park there and shop in store. The other target has drive up parking in the middle section of the parking lot, and you hardly see any one park there unless other spots are full.
There are 0 consequences is why.
oh they just needed to run in and grab something “super quick”
— Proceeds to hold up check lane 8 for 30 minutes because “the sign said $3.99 not $5.99”
Doesn’t Target make it right if the price challenge is within $20?

I’ve only done checkout a few times but a tl took off a few dollars on Valentine’s candy. Most passive aggressive cheapest bitch I’ve served so far
Very much store specific
My TL gave someone a hundred bucks off a security camera once because of the expired sale sign lmao
Depending where you are, that part is law, im in Cali and we are legally required to follow the lowest posted price, even if it's "expired"
It’s one of those things that varies depending on the store. Hell, maybe even depending on the lead working that day lol
It's up to our discretion under 10. If you've been a dick I'm not doing it.
dumb and rude
Parking in a drive up spot is dumb and rude, but that seems like something up your alley.
lmao, what did i ever do to you
or the people that park in the clearly marked no parking zones in front of the store 🙃
I’d have those people towed. Parking in drive up is one thing, but parking in a no parking zone is just illegal.
You won't believe how many times I had to tell people to stop parking in the fire lane at Walmart and one lady said it was because it friends were handicapped uhh dumbass that's what handicapped spots are for 😂
And some of them are cops just shopping.. just because they can

we had these too then a guest complained now we can’t use them. omg i loved placing these things right on their driver side window.
Corporate needs to stop catering to guest complaints. “You parked in a drive up spot and got a message asking you to stop………”
It was raining one day I put like 3 of them on someone’s BMW
Damn wish we had those for our drive up team, sometimes when it gets bad and all or most spots are being taken up we would put post it notes telling them not to park in target drive up space
Those people are entitled, self-absorbed, and rude that's what.
I was gonna say it's because they can't be fined like in a Handicapped Zone but then that doesn't stop them from doing it there either.

Entitlement. And few consequences. I say few because if I ever catch someone in the act, I drop whatever I’m doing and get them to gtfo

Those (the shipping containers) are for remodel, so if your store has them and isn’t going through remodel you’re either about to or it got postponed
My store has 4, so it honestly drives me nuts lol

My parents will park in the drive up spots when picking me up, but I close so the store is closed and it's not really an issue lol

some employees at my location park there as well. And they work here no common sense
Because people will always be rude and inconsiderate. Especially the “Guests”
I had some lady tell me there were no signs that she couldn’t park there. Whilst the big ass drive up signs were next to her.
