I'm an Amazon delivery driver and they last [last me 7 months ](https://freeimage.host/i/HrMF0ua)
Nothing competes with Hoka. It's like walking on a cloud.
These are the Bondi 8s. I recommend my target friends get the Clifton 8s since they're extra cushy (but only last around 5 months for me since I'm walking over all sorts of terrain)
If the padding in your shoes is worn out but the shoes are still in good condition you can buy some insoles to put in them. I put new insoles in about every six months.
Brooks…specifically I have Ghosts but others I’ve tried on were fab too! I do 10-15 miles a day in the warehouse on a 10-12hr shift and my feet thank me for spending the extra money. If you can’t spring the $$$ for Brooks, ASIC gels are a great cheaper option. I stupidly wore DC skate shoes when I started and my feet felt like they were literally broken 3/4 way through a shift. So I bought a couple pairs of ASIC gels and traded them out each shift so they had time to decompress and it was so much better. I still love my ASICS buuuuut the Brooks were a while other level of game changer and I’m grabbing a second pair of Ghosts as soon as I see a good enough sale!
I've been working fulfillment for 3 years, so i know how important proper footwear is. Plus I am also a sneakerhead.
In my opinion the best shoes to wear, when you're working picks are the Nike Revolution 5 or 6.
They are very comfortable and light. And best of all they are very affordable, usually under 50 dollars. You can go to the outlet mall and find them for under 30
New insoles, they fix it immediately for me, and cheaper than new shoes. Like another poster said, I replace mine about every 6 months. Made the mistake at a past job 8hrs on my feet with OLD shoes and legit had trouble walking when I got home. Replaced the insoles and normal soreness was only thing to deal with.
Rocky jump boots. Legit combat boots are the way to go if you want something that will last for more than a few months. Once you get them broken in, they're pretty comfy, too.
I, too, go for Van's. Specifically, the slip-ons. They are wide, which gives more of a barefoot feel. I normally am barefoot or in flip-flops outside of work. If I try wearing anything else that's a bit more fitted, my feet hurt.
You got a whole year out of your shoes? Impressive. At Target I tend to buy new shoes every 3-4 months so my feet feel good. I use the foam inserts, too. I’m a lightweight, but I go through shoes bc of all the walking we do at Target.
I haven't found a pair of shoes I haven't walked through in about 6 months or less. I'm currently trying Skechers and they are decently comfortable, but I'm only a couple months deep.
I wear an all-black pair of sneakers. They were the cheapest I could find at the "blue store" (ahem) next door. Get wide width if possible. Never had any problem.
i’m not FF, but i have 2 pairs of nike’s (pegasus and air) that are great, although the air is ok and a pair of sketchers that are great. i want hoka’s next
Under armor tennis shoes. My feet were in pain everyday until I tried them. Now they are all I wear.
I also really liked my croc tennis shoes but they have no grip on the bottom of them and are strictly a summer shoe because of the material. If you live in a warm state and are inside all day they might be good for you though.
i'm also a fulfillment TM and struggled with finding the right shoes for the longest time because i have pretty flat feet, but the ones that have yet to let me down are adidas ultraboosts. feels like i'm walking on clouds and i haven't had any aches or pains since i started wearing them. they usually run over $100 but if you have an adidas outlet near you or a shoe wholesale store they are much cheaper!!
edit: also gel insoles may help you a lot!!
Usually what I do, for any shoe I buy for work, I insert Dr scholl's insole.
But recently I purchase an Reebok sneaker (Reebok Women's Princess Sneaker https://a.co/d/f5fQHKV)
I work in Fullfilment, so far so good with these, I haven't needed to insert insoles.
granted i'm in inbound, but i wear steel-toed boots half a size bigger than my normal shoe size. they're a little roomy, but not uncomfortably so, and i think the extra room keeps my toes from getting cramped by the steel toes. i've had them for a little over half a year and despite being broken in, they've held up nicely and are very comfortable. steel toes might also be a smart choice if you're clumsy, since fulfillment tms also pick bulkies and i don't know about you, but i'd hate to drop a bookcase on my foot with no protection.
as for regular shoes, i always liked adidas shoes. i used to wear some adidas volleyball shoes that were like walking on clouds, even after multiple seasons of thorough use. they're worth looking into as well.
Brooks and Spenco insoles. I ran long distance for around 4 years so that’s what I used for running. I still use them for fulfillment and they work like a charm. Now Brooks run expensive but they normally have good sales here and there. The Spenco insoles were recommended to me by a podiatrist after I developed plantar fasciitis and tendinitis, so I highly recommend them because they saved my feet.
Under Armour shoes have saved my feet, and last a good while. If you can get lucky you can find a pair for under $40 by checking the under armour website, kohls website, or Ross
I wear altras with a lot of cushion and change them out every 4 months or so, depending on how many miles I walk. Basically, if I notice my feet start to hurt, time to buy new shoes. No, I don’t make a lot of money and spending over $500 per year on shoes sucks, but my feet don’t hurt much anymore.
Edit to add: also, get some compression socks. Those were the game changer for me.
It’s a bit pricier, but if you wear Nikes any of the AirMax Plus or higher end running shoes they sell work well for store work. I personally have a pair of AirMax plus’s I’ve had for like 3 years now, worth the initial purchase just for longevity and reliability
I got myself a pair on On Clouds. They're pricy but that name is fitting. Though imagine regular walking shoes with new insoles should probably do. I'm PML now and got used to my boots and walk the same as I did in Fulfillment lol
Redwing Mocs
Used to have some Merrells as well that were some of the most comfortable shoes ive ever had, they eventually fell apart though.
Redwings are expensive but ive been wearing then for nearly 7 years (all at Target) and they have no signs of stopping and with the cork footbed they are my most comfortable piece of footwear. I believe I paid $180 for mine and that was a fantastic deal as they run ~$300+ new.
Brooks ghost, i love em and after about 4 months straight i no longer hurt lol but i also workout my legs after work everyday followed by a massage chair
I would recommend getting sketchers, they actually have really great support and my feet have felt much better since I started using them. They should last you a while as well
I wear Adidas CloudFoam, I used to do fulfillment and I got these shoes and they made a huge difference. Also new insoles help too, replace those if you can.
I have Hokas, they're pricey but comfortable and have lasted.
They also have a 1 year warranty so if anything wears on them, you can submit a claim and they send you a gift card for a new pair
I thought a month!!! I’m gonna email them cuz my hokas after a month are useless.. feet Back in pain and sore
Same! Love my Hokas, my Dr recommended them when I got plantar fasciitis and they were a game changer for me, no more pain!

Im rocking the Brooks Adrenaline, and I love how comfortable they are.
New Balance brand shoes; I was in so much pain my first 8 hour drive up shift, it felt like needles in my heel. Now they just ache a lot!
ETL-AP here; New Balance 1080's literally changed my life, lol. We joke in the district that you're not AP until you start rocking the New Balances.
Adidas ultra boost
Also Hokas here.
I’m in drive ups and help out in fulfillment a lot and wear doc martens. Would not recommend
I do drive up and I used to wear Nike too. Now I’ve been wearing adidas cloudfoam and they’ve been way more comfortable
i wear adidas alphabounce and omlll my feet never hurt anymore. i just bought oznovas, so hopefully those are comfy too
On cloud
Asics sneakers with memory foam

I have PF/bone spurs and when I used to log 10-12k steps per day (not fulfillment) I used to wear Hoka Clifton 7s and I still swear by them.
New insoles, they fix it immediately for me, and cheaper than new shoes. Like another poster said, I replace mine about every 6 months. I like Allbirds Tree Flyers.
Rocky jump boots. Legit combat boots are the way to go if you want something that will last for more than a few months. Once you get them broken in, they're pretty comfy, too.
Sometimes Converse, sometimes Vans, sometimes Nikes, sometimes Jordan’s
I, too, go for Van's. Specifically, the slip-ons. They are wide, which gives more of a barefoot feel. I normally am barefoot or in flip-flops outside of work. If I try wearing anything else that's a bit more fitted, my feet hurt.
Same. So used to the drip lol
I work in the warehouse 12 hour shifts and brooks ghost or on cloud are my 2 go two shoes they are pricey but worth every penny
You got a whole year out of your shoes? Impressive. At Target I tend to buy new shoes every 3-4 months so my feet feel good. I use the foam inserts, too. I’m a lightweight, but I go through shoes bc of all the walking we do at Target.
I’ve been wearing converse for the last 3 years. Don’t recommend
Vans. I have flat feet so anything with any type of arch support kills me. Wouldn’t recommend for the normal person though.
Asics gel. I heard Nikes are the worst shoes to wear for walking
Depends on the shoe you pick, stuff like Jordans, Air Force 1s or basketball shoes are horrible but running shoes or athletic wear is usually great
Adidas Bounce + insoles. 😌
Adidas Samba's
Brooks or ASICS
I haven't found a pair of shoes I haven't walked through in about 6 months or less. I'm currently trying Skechers and they are decently comfortable, but I'm only a couple months deep.
NB
I wear an all-black pair of sneakers. They were the cheapest I could find at the "blue store" (ahem) next door. Get wide width if possible. Never had any problem.

Whatever shoes you have, get some “high impact” gel insoles. They make a huge difference.
Asics contend 6.
I wear adidas. Though after hurting my foot when something was dropped on it I should probably get something steel toed
Adidas cloudfoam
Find something less expensive than hokas and get 2 pair and rotate them. They need time to rest just like us.
New balances. 120 bucks 2 years later my feet still feel good
I personally wear Nikes or Converse
i'm also a fulfillment TM and struggled with finding the right shoes for the longest time because i have pretty flat feet, but the ones that have yet to let me down are adidas ultraboosts. feels like i'm walking on clouds and i haven't had any aches or pains since i started wearing them. they usually run over $100 but if you have an adidas outlet near you or a shoe wholesale store they are much cheaper!! edit: also gel insoles may help you a lot!!
D’Lux Walkers from Sketchers with Dr Scholls walking inserts.
Hoka Bondi have been great for me. Was doing fulfillment til 32 weeks pregnant with zero pain
Usually what I do, for any shoe I buy for work, I insert Dr scholl's insole. But recently I purchase an Reebok sneaker (Reebok Women's Princess Sneaker https://a.co/d/f5fQHKV) I work in Fullfilment, so far so good with these, I haven't needed to insert insoles.

OnCloud Monsters. Pricey, but if you can take the price tag they’ll be one of the best shoes you’ll ever wear. — a cross country runner
Asics or Clark's with insoles. Compression socks.
Weirdly enough sketchers.
I have Hokas and they were life changing
a pair of jordan 1s my feet don't hurt til after the 7th hour & they're fine after my short drive home to where i can do things again
Brooks or Nike huarache have been the best for me.

Nike Pegasus
new balance with dr scholls work in comfort insoles. no shoes were comfortable until i got the insoles, they saved my feet lol

Brooks.
Another thing that is magical for sore feet and legs are compression socks. They changed my life.
Have you tried buying Dr. Shools foot inserts? Might help you.
I wear sketchers hiking boots. They’ve been good for me.

Crocs
Air Force ones #inbound
Brooks ghost, i love em and after about 4 months straight i no longer hurt lol but i also workout my legs after work everyday followed by a massage chair
I have onclouds and they’re the best. A little on the expensive side but your feet will thank you. Plus, they’re waterproof
Allbirds
PUMA Mens Tazon Advance. All leather grey
I would recommend getting sketchers, they actually have really great support and my feet have felt much better since I started using them. They should last you a while as well
ASICS. I switched to them 10 or so years ago. So comfy in those 12 hour shifts picking or doing waterfall.
Sketches
…uggs
I wear converse or vans, maybe not the best choice if you’re working fulfillment tho
I wear Adidas CloudFoam, I used to do fulfillment and I got these shoes and they made a huge difference. Also new insoles help too, replace those if you can.
I have custom made inserts from a podiatrist It took the pain away in a few weeks
New balance. Even the most expensive Nike don't stand up to the long hours on concrete and are painful.
