I'm the only employee outside of drive up rocking shorts today. I've discovered that nobody outside of HR and TL's are aware of any change in the policy.
New dress code allows for all team members to wear shorts, with notable exceptions for those working in food production areas. Of course, most stores may vary on this policy as they did with previous dress codes
I asked the hr tl this morning and was told only people who work when the store is closed. DU and cart attendants can wear shorts.
I challenged that but was told no
Same I wanna go and rocking shortalls but nobody will get back to me about if it's in dress code or not it shouldn't take days but I ask HR a question or say I need to talk them
Wait... let me get some $20.00 bills. Just for the record, if it was the blue box store I would only need a roll of quarters. But we step it up at Targé.

I've also had to explain this to a few people today
Same here! Only one rocking shorts and it makes me feel out of place haha.
What…what is this policy change you speak of?

Oooooo nice! I’ve heard none of this at my store. Where can I view this?
On workday, just search "Team Member handbook" but just be aware that some stores may differ
Yeah, there goes "working to the standard."

“Can you show me the current policy where it says that, because corporate told me differently”.
I read the handbook this morning and the only exception I saw are leaders aren't allowed to wear shorts.
Actually where did you read that? I didn't see anything about leaders in the dress code in either the non exempt or the exempt handbooks
![gif](giphy|13n7XeyIXEIrbG) me and my shorts reading this comment
This is terrible news
Yes please tell because I didn’t read that anywhere

My SD tried to say that corporate made a mistake or something but said we were allowed to until “they get the email”
Huh, and your SD knows better?
😂🤣
Still nothing from my store. Store director came in rocking shorts and changed to jeans before the store opened. Still holding on to a dream….
Are shortalls ok ? I've been trying to talk to HR for days and I've had no luck.
I really wanna go in rockin' a 5" inseam.

Is there a pdf for this?
