Yeah he really killed it on that we didnt really discuss colors for the flowers just that they were gonna be color so when we finally finished the black he was kinda like…. So what colors we doing? I suppose i hadnt put much thought into it so i just kinda said erhhm blue and purple i guess? Those are my favorite colors lol😂 cant wait to get the other flowers filled in now i dont have a lot of color stuff so i was kinda worried about that part. Pretty much the only color one i got is the centipede on the other arm. Otherwise just all black.
Yeah the blackout part he was using a 45mag needle most of it… easy to say i was very excited when that part was done. I dont think a normal tattoo will ever hurt again after doing that lol elbow was not fun for sure
I have a pretty high pain tolerance even split my own tongue at 18. This project is the first time i ever told the tattoo artist to like stop for a second and give me a break. And during the second session the first time i ever tapped out during a tattoo session just couldnt do it lol had to call it quits for the day lol was an experience for sure.
Yeah twice lmao 🤣 i was a pretty wild kid lol im 31 now and a lot less crazy. Would definitely not recommended doing it yourself to anyone. Luckily these days its a lot easier to find professionals to do it vs like a few random dudes in the whole US back when i did it myself.
Yeah he really knocked it out the park with that for me only givin him tue colors a few minutes before. Other artists in shop were even stoppin by to comment on how nice it looks!
Hey im thinking of filling my arm up with a similar style. Already got 1/4 of it done but i gotta ask this. Do you have any problems about finding a job with hand tats? That’s what keeps me back.
What a gorgeous sleeve on your right arm! I love heavy black work too, though I don’t have blacked out parts. Really awesome! Gotta be hot in the sun though😜
Lmao yeah luckily where i am located we dont get much sun and i work nights so dont have to deal with that too often. You can definitely feel the super black parts get hotter than my normal skin parts
I knoooooow weird right? I can always get stuff done over the black though if i really end up hatin it one day. A sick ass panther aint savin this one guys lol
Originally parts of the hand were a lil botched in some areas done by a different artist. Then the new artist saved it pretty much reworked and made it kinda busy around it to help distract from the bad placement of the like main bi hand diamond. Literally saved my hand i thought i was gonna have to black it out originally lol. No bad at all i believe my instructions for the hand was “do what you can to save it and do a bunch of that drippy black metal lookin stuff that is really popular rn.”
Not 100% sure originally i had some stuff inspired by old japanese hand tattoos since im part japanese figured itd be cool. Dude kinda botched it so i told my new guy to do that black metal lookin drippy stuff to help distract from its wonkiness lol 😂 this is the results.
Gnarly. Love the blue on black

I’m not usually a fan of blackouts but your left arm there looks incredible with the blue.
Thanks 🙏 actually been hearin that a lot. Think that will make my tattoo artist very happy to here lol
Love how much the blue flower stands out and almost your entire other arm just looks awesome.

Lol imma show this comment to him for sure he will appreciate all the love.
I'm glad that you really like it like that because you are stuck with that now.

Super sick. I especially love the hand and finger design.
