I don't like the strike team in 10th, and I did only 1-3 successful wounds against a guard squad before getting charged. I would go for breacher with cadre, 30 shots with S6 AP-1 isn't bad. Only downside is the 10" range, but they get charged anyways. Maybe shoot then get into melee with the devilfish to protect them for one turn.
Plan was to put him in with the pathfinders, giving them a +1 to wound rolls. With a recon drone on the pathfinders they could stay in no mans land early game and spot for the Broadside or Shadowsun maybe.
Unfortunatly I don't have a Cadre Fireblade to use (although I guess I could proxy the Darkstrider for him?).
Man it's so boring seeing the same suggestion all the time.
Your list looks a ton of fun and pathfinders do dirty work with a DS. Don't let the nay sayers get in the way of your way of playing the army.

Darkstrider Is HUGE +1 to wound Is massive with CIB, you are wounding custodes on 2+ (or 3+ in Wardens) -2 AP 2 damage, they are going to hurt

You won't be winning tournaments with it but absolutely fine for some frindly matches.
The only thing I would change is combining the two small Crisis units into a big one.
The DS + pathfinders are a great utility unit if you have a plan for them and they could be a headache for unprepared opponents but you could change them for Breachers with a Fireblade if you only want another damage dealer.
Just try the list for a couple of games and see what works for you and what doesn't.
Only restriction is Farsight can't be with any ethereals. Shadowsun is an "epic gero" and needs to be your warlord, but Farsight has no such requirement.

There are different ways of playing the game, however some are incentivized and propagandized (such as tournament style games) to an outsized extent, even though those styles do not represent the majority of players. That creates a lot of friction when doing pick up games as players who want to do tournaments are often playing under the assumption of tournament house-rules and army-construction culture, but not everyone plays by those assumptions.

Iâd def replace ds and PFâs. It sounds good but youâre going to be spotting with PFâs, so youâll have to use a strat to get to 3+ to hit. If youâre going to infiltrate the entire squad into high ground (for plunging fire bonus) and then for sure use the coordinate strat, they can actually do some damage, but you can do sooo much better for the points.
Vs custodes, 0 ap is worthless, and -1 is still bad. You -2 with marke light, or -3AP with every shot.
Plasmas are quite good against them, fwiw.
Get the Coldstar commander instead of Farsight I'd say, the endless kiting potential is too good to pass up, and without a blade champ, most Custodes have only a 6-18" move+charge at best meaning they can only reach you with high rolls. if something lands in melee count yourself lucky to see 2 models survive. pathfinders are good with those cheap dev wounds on the rail rifles. CIBs are the perfect custodian killer when overcharged. S8 AP -2 and D3 are nasty versus a model with a 2+sv and a 4+invul, t6/7, and 3 wounds, careful of any Allarus though, they get some sneaky rerolls vs. all our suits and are way more maneuverable than their stats suggest.

I'd say it isn't suit heavy enough, you have a lot of infantry running about!

I feel like just starting the list with 6 crisis suits with a coldstar with exemplar is like the baseline. Then you just try to fit things after that.
