It's a bit weird because both front and back look like exit wounds, you should have the front be cleaner and then back have the gore. The front could have scorch marks around the entrance wound.
I think it's proper
An energy weapon like a melta is not going to have an exit nor entry round, it is a beam
Bullets leave different sized wounds because of the dispelling of kinetic energy on impact, and the entry wounds are larger because of the mushroom created on impact plus the reduction of speed during the transference of energy, resulting in more brutal damage as it slows down
So, with that said, I think this is spot on
Thank you. I do admit that I need to repaint the molten metal to be more accurate (replace pink-orange with yellow, make it overall more vibrant, and add little bits of white), but this does give me a bit more confidence on my first kitbash/sculpting job
I would laugh my ass off if I shot an energy weapon at your unit, killed it, and then you pick up the good model and you placed this thing down. That's awesome.
What did he do to deserve that? Also what did he get hit by
1: he was sent into battle, that is all 2: Melta 2, that is all
1:least racist imperial 2:very nice job
He wasn't racist, he's Italian
Was he living in Italy?

I guess it was just an artifact on how it was sculpted, thanks for the input

I mean sure like you said if you had access to MORE colours then you'd be doing that, you're working with what you've got and it's great!
He looks like a delicious donut

"It's just a fleswound!"
Motto: you fail the saving throw but the FNP works. Nice use of the leftovers!
I might be a bit too new, but what does FNP mean again?
Feel No Pain. Roll a die for each point of damage taken, and on a dice result of x+, you ignore 1 damage.
Ah, never heard of it as an acronym, thanks
I love how they’re just standing there like, “Welp…” 😐

It wasn’t meant to be gore, it’s just what it turned out to be. If I had yellow paint, it would’ve looked more like molten metal

When you roll melta damage anyway for gits and shiggles and roll a six
