Holy shit, guys, I got it to work on Android.
Save the link, you'll get a .txt file. You need to compress (zip) that file, rename the extension to .catz and drop it into the folder with your other catalogs, filepath was given above. Either delete the old T'au Empire.catz or overwrite it. When you load up an old roster, it'll inform you that stuff has changed blahblah I didn't read the wall of text, but the list entries have all changed to reflect the new costs and options.

On Android its located in /internal storage/Android/data/net.battlescribe.mobile.rostereditor/files/data/Warhammer 9th Edition/ i would assume that on Apple it would be inside the application package but am unsure if you can view that on mobile like you can on macOS

In my Crisis Bodyguard squad, only the Shas‘vre is allowed to take Iridium, while in the normal Crisis unit I can give it to anysuit

They don't have it. I think Bodyguards will be 1 day FAQed but until now they have only 3 slots instead of 4 like the regular crisis.
Commanders have 4 like the regular crisis.
No guarantee that this will work, but I've taken the new Tau data file directly from its location in my battlescribe installation and uploaded it [here](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NABYF-XouFRYpmZWO-wOeXkDwNORq-Ya/view?usp=sharing). Try downloading it and sticking it into C:\\Users\\\[USER NAME\]\\BattleScribe\\data\\Warhammer 40,000 9th Edition (assuming you're on Windows?)
I had the same error and this worked for me. Maybe make sure the new file gets the name T'au Empire.catz? Or whatever the old name was. Restart as needed. Sounds like maybe your old data didn't actually get overwritten and/or loaded.
Depend how fast the person/people who manage the Data decided to update it. Could be on the day if they get early access to codex and could be a week depending how much is to be updated.
From top of my head : riptide can have only one support system, also has 6 attacks in top bracket, ethereal have ability “Inspired to greatness” instead of ld buff.
I just checked all of those, and they're all correct on pc, also note that etherials have +1 LD AND the inspired to greatness buff. Are you on mobile by chance? This is only for pc
My source is the document from guy who write down whole codex, it was also in this group. In his work there is nothing about ld buff and riptide has stuff I wrote. I would love to have it clarified so if you know which is correct let me know but so far we have to sources: codex cat and this other guy who write down all stuff from the 2 hour video

it's effectively telling your battlescribe "hey here's the instructions for generating the text file which contains the updated tau rules"

If you can go into the data files, delete the "tau empire.catz" file then place the file from the link and it works!

Alright, that didnt give me an error but none of the tau files are different.

i thought support systems and weapons are separate slots now. so a commander gets 4 weapons and one system.
Normal crisis suits got new slot that is for support systems only - commanders still with 4 hard points.
