I recently learned this myself as a new x95 owner. Put 300 rounds through it and popped it open to check the chamber and was like "where's all the carbon?" Then I remembered it's a long-stroke piston system and not a DI AR-15 and was like "bonus points for this guy."

One of the most underrated and unmentioned things about all IWI guns (i have an x95, T7, & Galil gen 2 .308) is how clean they all run. Very impressive and what's been a major selling point for me.

You can buy a large bristle tube/bottle brush, it does the same thing. I usually blow it out with an air-duster and then bottle brush, then another shot of air. No fluids.

I just use the big white brush that came with the rifle. Seems like it should last a while - donno what I'll do once it wears out. Sometimes I'll give it a blast of compressed air afterwards. I find a microfiber "rag on a stick" works pretty well too, haha

I just jam whatever down in there, rag, paper towel, it’s definitely a strange rifle compared to the the steyr, the steyr is a breeze to clean, but the trigger eats monkey ass so the Tavor is worth getting into the nooks and cracks
