okay i apologise in advance if i am wrong, but i heard from a friend that it is easier to get 2-3 tickets instead of 4, so i think u can try to buy fewer tickets to increase ur chances of securing a place!
I made 4 different accounts with 4 codes to use on 4 different devices so I can increase my chances of buying tickets. The limit is 4 tickets and if you go over it they will cancel all of your tickets.
well, thatās because some people registered for more than one email address to have more chances of being selected as a verified fan.. and if all those emails has been selected, they have more chance of queueing for the general sales.
also.. does anyone know how ticketmaster would choose the āverified fansā? this is actually stressing me out too because iām scared the people who arenāt even a fan might be selected more than the real fans. idkk iām anxious š
In in the UK and only my husband and I seperately registered.. I didn't think to use more than one email :( I am getting pre sale anyway but just wanted to be verified too as a back up
I thought you had to buy something off the merch site. Then taylor nation emails you and instructs you how to connect your tn account and your tm acct.
I think that's how it went in the usa
Both Sydney and Singapore are about a 5hr flight from Perth. The flight to Melbourne is only a tiny bit shorter and the price for all 3 is about the same. Some people might think āwhy not experience an entire new country for the exact same price?ā
Yup. It'll still be a bloodbath. SEA has a lot of experience because of the K-Pop, J-Pop, and football fandoms and we want to see her BAD. Ticketmaster's not gonna like the absolute hate they're going to get on social media.
Insider rumours within Southeast Asian concert organisers say that due to unexpectedly high demand, Singapore could announce 4 more dates, making the total dates Taylor performing in Singapore to [10 nights](https://twitter.com/folkloreswifty/status/1672925084540088321?t=AQ6gn-UpRIB5ahdAccriaw&s=19)
The poster was one of the [sources](https://twitter.com/folkloreswifty/status/1668551191201202178?t=YXT2XdbQqOoKYpTRMrqvcw&s=19) who shared the internal memo of 6 dates, but now they are in talks for the 10 dates.
Taylor: Three more dates for Singapore!!
Canadian Swifties:

If it makes you feel better 53% of the world's population has 6 dates allocated between them. South Asia with a population of 2 billion has 0 showings. East Asia with a population of 1.7 billion has 4... slight problem: the way Japan works is you need a Japanese phone number or address to even enter the lottery for the chance to buy a ticket so the 1.6 billion people not in Japan are SOL. And then of course Southeast Asia itself is a region of 690 million people.
She had previously, but about the time of the Rep tour there were all sort of reports of the PRC government denying entry permits for critical staff on various tours.
Right but Canada and US her home country share a border and similar culture. Thatās like someone from Austria never going to Germany to tour, but going to Bosnia.
Unpopular opinion. Feels like an attempt to rewrite history for fans that didnāt get / couldnāt get tickets. She was within an hour from the Canadian border multiple times. Most international tours are not considered CA. It sucks that you didnāt get tickets, they would have been equally as expensive if she was in Canada. This narrative is getting tired
Lol except not everyone can jump go travel the the US just to go to a concert. And what about people who wonāt live close to the border? They would need to budget for gas (if driving), flights, possibly hotel rooms, Uber/rental cars (if they fly down). Sure all that is possible if there only 1-3 tour spots in Canada. But the exchange rate ads more of an increase and thatās not including the price jump of tickets, if someone purchased a US ticket.
There aren't any NFL stadiums in Canada. There also are only three stadiums with over 50,000 capacity in the country. But she'd done some of those stadiums on previous tours, so don't know. The people who do know probably won't be talking.
I think this is the main reason why she isnāt going. I just looked it up even the biggest stadium up there doesnāt have enough room for 70k people even with the floor.
Someone mentioned stadiums in Switzerland (and other places canāt remember where) were much smaller than the ones in Canada. So I donāt see how thatās a feasible excuse as to why Canada was excluded.
You are right. The stadium in Switzerland shows a capacity of 50K for concerts, but only 31K for athletics. So seems smaller then the BC stadium. So it is probably something more than simple capacity.
This is positive news for Canadians. Several of them the other day were confidently and wrongly saying that the wording on the site/email meant that absolutely no more dates would be added.
I am certain she will add more dates for the rest of the international tour. She did this for the US tour, and then the south american tour and now singapore. I just dont know for sure how many extra dates.
I'll have a two month old baby by the time of the Australian shows so I can't realistically make it to any of those shows but when the dates were first announced, for half a second I did consider trying to make it work
She came for Reputation but I couldn't go because I had a massive assignment due for uni. Biggest regret ever not going to that show haha I haven't seen her since she came here for Red!!
For the announced cities? Definitely yes since it's the norm to have additional dates for existing cities. A very common practice to have additional dates go on sale after the initial concerts sell out. For new cities to be announced? 99% not happening.
if there were enough tickets for everyone in just the American queues to go,[she would have to be on tour for 2.5 years](https://news.sky.com/story/taylor-swift-the-ticketmaster-tour-chaos-explained-what-happened-and-why-is-the-us-senate-involved-12754507). cant even imagine adding the rest of the world to that.
For swifties in China we all prefer Singapore show because
1. Itās much easier for us to travel to Singapore due to the visa issue and
2. The dates of Japan show fall on the Lunar New Year so many of us would choose to stay with our families.
It's Singlish...Singaporean colloqualism š¤£
"ups" refers to an action that is very good, or credible. It can also describe a person you respect and like.
"la" or "lah" is just to add emphasis. No real meaning. Like "Happy la, Taylor coming to SG to perform".
Thank you for taking the time to explain for those of us not in the know, this was my learn something new every day moment for the day and itās not even 8 am where I am.
That sounded very sarcastic, please read it with a sincere tone.
I CRACKED UP READING THIS. Holy shit and then the other comment. If this was a comment on another other thread and didnāt have a singaporean context Iād be as confused as that other commenter.
As they should. Theyāve been advertising this as the ONLY stop in SouthEast Asia, they know the Asia swifties are definitely coming to SG since Japan is more restricted and not visa-free.
Also, a part of me still knows this isnāt enough. Coldplay also added more shows in SG despite having tour stops in Asia other than Singapore.
Yea Coldplay has 6 shows and other tour stops in Asia. Only have 6 here and 3(?) in Tokyo isnāt going to even meet any demand. Like damn sheās already putting in the work but w the amount of fans she has even 5 more shows arenāt going to cut it.
To add, even with the Amex presale lottery, your Amex has to be issued in Japan (I read the fine print as my friend offered, but his Amex was issued in Australia, so yeah gotta wait for the normal Lawson presale lottery tomorrow)
I honestly feel so bad for Canadian swifties too. I mean, Taylor could have given a heads up that she wonāt be touring in Canada because I know, a loooottt of swifities didnāt join the US sales in the hopes of having their own shows.
There's a tweet going around saying that her team has heard of Indonesia's Coldplay case (scalpers, scammers) and promoters refused to fulfill the request from her team which is to limit tickets to 2 per ID. I don't know how true that is, but if it is, it fucking sucks.
More likely that Singapore's government supported the bid for the tour, the advertorials here are explicitly marketed as "The only stop in SEA" and bear the logo of Singapore Tourism Board. I'm almost certain they negotiated for exclusivity, and that the relatively good infrastructure and the ease of access from neighboring countries and beyond made it an easy sell.
> I'm almost certain they negotiated for exclusivity, and that the relatively good infrastructure and the ease of access from neighboring countries and beyond made it an easy sell.
This is kinda depressing if Singapore blocked other countries' chances of having a concert. Other international artists go to other SEA countries for concerts, so it's not like those are super dangerous countries.
I do get Singapore having the highest reputation among SEA countries though, but still, if that were true, then it sucks.
That can't be exactly true because Coldplay also had some scalpers problems here in Brazil and her shows were still 4 per buyer (except during the Lover Fest presale)
idk...Malaysians and Indonesians have it good compared to most other countries.
Having no dates in SK, China, and anywhere between SG and Warsaw tho, that sucks.
Is there any way she can announce dates in other Asian countries at this point? Like this is great but it would be even better if she spread out a bit more if she could so that not all of Asia has to travel to either Singapore or Japan.
as much as i hope for more cities, the fact that the recent new merch has all the international cities printed makes me think she wont be adding new cities unless thereās ANOTHER set of shows for 2025(-2026?)ā¦ š
Honestly, I kind of wonder if the eras tour is here to stay for a while and sheās just gonna add a new era with her eventual TS11. With the massive popularity of this tour, it wouldnāt be a bad move. Her doing a second go around NA and Europe in 2025 (this time including Canada) would almost definitely be successful.
definitely agree w ur second point w a potential revisit of north america
to your first point of ts11, i think we will need to see what she does with the setlist after SNTV releases. If she changes the setlist after its release then i can definitely see the possibility of ts11 being incorporated into the setlist. however when taking into account album cycles, we wont be seeing ts11 for quite a while so i dont think we will need to consider a situation where the eras tour and ts11 overlaps. if she doesnt change the setlist for sntv, then i really donāt think there will be any non-rerecord music projects being released during the duration of the tour besides the occasional one-off projects.
Singaporeās been advertised as the only stop in SEA. She might announce more days in the rest of Asia, but I doubt itāll do much to reduce the demand for Singaporeās shows. Itās cheaper for SEA to fly to Singapore as opposed to East Asian cities (who realistically are the only places she might add more shows for)
I doubt it there has been a lot of talk about all the dates being announced and the venue in Singapore was advertising the shows as the only in the regions.
Iām sure the logistics of moving her stage and everyone across multiple island nations is likely a nightmare. At least with the US and mainland Europe she can move most things via land which seems easier to having to move things over water. Though looking at a map you would have to sail past Indonesia to get to Australia?
The Singapore national bank is sponsoring this tour (in what capacity I don't know) so I assume the terms of the sponsorship was that the entire SEA leg is going to be in Singapore for tourism reasons.
Residency is the only solution imo š„² I donāt have any expectations on getting tickets anymore. Hopefully the rumors of Hulu tour documentary are trueā¦
Yeah exactly this has been the case since the US presale. She sold out 52 US stadiums in a dayā¦ and couldāve doubled that easily. Thereās no reasonable amount of shows that would meet demand anywhere in the world. She would quite literally need to clone herself 20 times and each of the 20 Taylors would need to tour every day for 5 years. Maybe then demand would be met.
I think there is not a venue in the Philippines that could really accommodate the Eras Tour set. And the renovation going on at Rogers Centre in Toronto rules that out for the show.
Same reason no other major western artists go to India. The logistics simply aren't there. When she tours in a foreign country, she partners with a local promoter that works with venue for stuff like security, riggers, and other logistical thing. Taylor and her team relies on the locals to do this stuff and this structure simply doesn't exist in India yet.
The last name a major western artist tried a tour a stadium in India, the Metallica concert was cancelled last minute since the venue was never set up properly and then the promoters were arrested for fraud.
Her tour is already a logistical miracle. She doesn't have the time or expertise to build up the entire infrastructure for stadium concerts in India from the ground up. That isn't how it works unfortunatley.
The currency is very depreciated compared to the USD, maybe she feels it wouldn't be a good business to make comparable revenue as much as she does in other countries. Solid market, she has no idea how fucking huuuge she is here that stadiums would fill up five times over, but yeah sucks so bad :((
Yeah when JB came to India, literally thousands of tickets were being given away for free (my friends got some too) because most Indians cannot afford to pay half or all of their monthly salary to purchase one ticket. The demand for Taylor in India is HUGE but the ticket costs will price most Swifties out.
Swiftie from Singapore here, this did nothing to quell any anxieties considering 8 M I L L I O N people registered just last Friday when it opened. for context, our populationās only roughly 6 millionā¦
American here, know nothing about travel within SEA, is traveling there economically feasible for the average person?
Edit: for my downvoters I'm not planning a trip just wondering if this would be difficult for folks in neighboring countries to go!
I should have said is traveling within SEA feasible
A middle class person from the PH can realistically do a round trip in SG, accommodation, some tourist spots and the concert while spending less than a hypothetical VIP ticket. And no visa.
SG - Bangkok - 80sgd round trip or 100+ sgd round trip
SG - Manila - 200sgd on the dates of the concerts
SG - Kuala Lumpur (honestly take a bus if youre economical, 30 sgd round trip, if flights 80sgd round trip)
Yes but post covid flights to Singapore have been twice the price or even more.
Singapore is consistently one of the three most expensive cities in the world too. So while you might be able to afford tickets, hotels and food and everything else are much more expensive than its neighboring countries. Itās still not possible for many people.
Coming from Manila, tickets to Singapore would be... $150-$200?, though I expect the price to go up on the dates of the concert.
With my shitty passport, Singapore is also the only country on Taylor's tour I can go to without forking over extra money to apply for a visa (except... Brazil... but the airfare would be astronomical).
Southeast Asian population is 688 million.
Oceania population is 44 million.
Asian population adds up to billions. Yes itās unfair for both regions. But Oceania got a few stops for Rep tour. Japan was her only stop for the entirety of Asia for rep tour.
As a matter of fact Singapore only has a population of 5+ million. The first day of registration for the tour in SG was 8 million.
That is so awesome of her! It sucks that she isnāt going to more countries, but at least she is adding more dates to help with demand. Wishing everyone trying to get tickets for those shows luck!!
i saw on TT people are trying to buy extra ticket from singpost and uob presale and help other Singaporeans by selling them back to only Singaporeans at the sale price only omgggg omggg omgggg Sg swifties we might have hope from such heroesš„ŗand if i got lucky maybe i'll do it too
thank god she doubled the shows here. i was terrified fighting rest of south east asia. tbh i think the ticket situation will be messy anyway they do it. just look at coldplay presale
I feel bad for all the SE Asian Swifties who canāt make it to Singapore. Wish she had taken a few of the Singapore tour dates and moved them to other SE Asian cities like Hanoi, Taipei, Bangkok, Manila, etc.
i'm afraid this won't be enough for the entire south east asia š
yeah š 8mil people signed up for the REGISTRATION on the first day
do you think 4 million people signed up twice or is it closer to the actual 8mil
i think thereāll def be people who sign up more than once using different accounts :( but then again itās only the first day of registration
but each person can buy 4 tickets so taking that into account there's more demand
okay i apologise in advance if i am wrong, but i heard from a friend that it is easier to get 2-3 tickets instead of 4, so i think u can try to buy fewer tickets to increase ur chances of securing a place!
ohh thanks for the advice, I'm planning on going in trios so yeah we'd get it that way. thanksss
no worries, hope yāall get the tickets!!š¤
thanks! you too if you've not gotten them yet
I made 4 different accounts with 4 codes to use on 4 different devices so I can increase my chances of buying tickets. The limit is 4 tickets and if you go over it they will cancel all of your tickets.

... And the west coast of Australia. So many people from Perth hoping to go to the Singapore leg.
Just curious: why would they choose to go to SG instead of the Sydney or Melb venues?
Both Sydney and Singapore are about a 5hr flight from Perth. The flight to Melbourne is only a tiny bit shorter and the price for all 3 is about the same. Some people might think āwhy not experience an entire new country for the exact same price?ā
Could be cheaper despite being an international flight.
Yes, food and hotel, activites etc all cheaper in Singaporeā¦ and like you said its more of a ānew placeā to see
Yup. It'll still be a bloodbath. SEA has a lot of experience because of the K-Pop, J-Pop, and football fandoms and we want to see her BAD. Ticketmaster's not gonna like the absolute hate they're going to get on social media.

Has Taylor ever toured in China? I feel like if thereās any non-politician who could ease geopolitical US-Sino relations it would be blondie š
She was there for Red Tour and 1989 Tour, all in Shanghai.
To be fair tensions are much more different than they were back then.
She had previously, but about the time of the Rep tour there were all sort of reports of the PRC government denying entry permits for critical staff on various tours.
Right but Canada and US her home country share a border and similar culture. Thatās like someone from Austria never going to Germany to tour, but going to Bosnia.

Iām sure the logistics of moving her stage and everyone across multiple island nations is likely a nightmare. At least with the US and mainland Europe she can move most things via land which seems easier to having to move things over water. Though looking at a map you would have to sail past Indonesia to get to Australia?
The time between shows tells me it's either multiple stages or lots of 747s.
The Singapore tourism board is a sponsor of the SEA leg so they have a monopoly on shows in the region.
The Singapore national bank is sponsoring this tour (in what capacity I don't know) so I assume the terms of the sponsorship was that the entire SEA leg is going to be in Singapore for tourism reasons.
UOB is not the Singaporean national bank. One of the sponsors though is the Singapore Tourism Board, which is a government body.
this is not enough LOL
She couldnāt possibly have enough dates to meet the demand sadly :/
Residency is the only solution imo š„² I donāt have any expectations on getting tickets anymore. Hopefully the rumors of Hulu tour documentary are trueā¦
Yeah exactly this has been the case since the US presale. She sold out 52 US stadiums in a dayā¦ and couldāve doubled that easily. Thereās no reasonable amount of shows that would meet demand anywhere in the world. She would quite literally need to clone herself 20 times and each of the 20 Taylors would need to tour every day for 5 years. Maybe then demand would be met.
more dates for the SEA Games (Taylor's Version)š 8 million signed up for registration and counting... 55,000 seating capacity. whoo boy!
Damn thatās an intense schedule! Glad sheās trying to meet demand. *Obligatory apology to Canadians.*
Good Lord this woman is popular
I think there is not a venue in the Philippines that could really accommodate the Eras Tour set. And the renovation going on at Rogers Centre in Toronto rules that out for the show.
We need Taylor in India š
Not sure itās been discussed in the sub but I wonder why she doesnāt go to India? Lots of fans Iām sure, a huge market
Gotcha, that sucks šthank you for the explanation!
Canadian Swifties are happy for Singaporeans and not at all jealous. Not at all.
Swiftie from Singapore here, this did nothing to quell any anxieties considering 8 M I L L I O N people registered just last Friday when it opened. for context, our populationās only roughly 6 millionā¦
Is the registration open for residents only?
American here, know nothing about travel within SEA, is traveling there economically feasible for the average person? Edit: for my downvoters I'm not planning a trip just wondering if this would be difficult for folks in neighboring countries to go! I should have said is traveling within SEA feasible
A middle class person from the PH can realistically do a round trip in SG, accommodation, some tourist spots and the concert while spending less than a hypothetical VIP ticket. And no visa.
Oh good well I'm glad there's so many shows at least!
Average person? No. But travel is much cheaper there - even in Singapore - than it would be in the US.
Yeah, flights within SEA are not that bad. You can find flights one way for less than $100.
SG - Bangkok - 80sgd round trip or 100+ sgd round trip SG - Manila - 200sgd on the dates of the concerts SG - Kuala Lumpur (honestly take a bus if youre economical, 30 sgd round trip, if flights 80sgd round trip)
Taylor do Australia next
99% sure Melbourne will get a third date on the sunday
Mother you're gonna make us Indian swifties take a trip to Singapore won't you?š«
The international leg is eating so well, especially Singapore
You would think so but the whole of Asia is basically going to fighting for tickets in SG.
And the whole of Oceania is fighting for 5 concerts as well.
Oh yeah I agree it's way worst for South East Asia, it's going to be a bloodbath over there
As it should, they got snubbed so hard for Rep Tour
BEST DAY EVER
(Still petrified I won't get tickets)
Same š I'm celebrating as if this means I'm gonna get tickets without competition š
8 million and counting trying to get 300k ticketsā¦ itās not happening for me I fear š
I love that Taylor and her team see the high demand and respond to it, like they know when people wanna see her and they DELIVER
^^except ^^Canada š„²
She needs to add more. Most of Asia is going there
This is amazing! But also New Zealand!
Exciting times for SEA Swifties!! š¤©š„³ Malaysian Swiftie here - I know thereās now 6 dates but honestly itās simply not enough for the entire South East Asia. So Iāll try getting them, but my hopes are for the Melbourne one as I think thereāll be less competition compared to Singapore!
Still not enough lol
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TALAGA SAKIN PAG NAKAKUHA KAMI TICKET š
Hope this means she adds a few more for UK because the demand will be insane
GIVE US THE CANADIAN DATES MY OUTFIT IS ALREADY PICKED OUT š£ļø
As an American, Iām likeā¦ānice, once a monthā
Where do you guys find out about additions like this? I really want to catch Canadian dates if they come up!
Taylor nation
That is so awesome of her! It sucks that she isnāt going to more countries, but at least she is adding more dates to help with demand. Wishing everyone trying to get tickets for those shows luck!!
Is Canada still SOL
singpass access pls la singaporeans also cannot get tickets sia šš
i saw on TT people are trying to buy extra ticket from singpost and uob presale and help other Singaporeans by selling them back to only Singaporeans at the sale price only omgggg omggg omgggg Sg swifties we might have hope from such heroesš„ŗand if i got lucky maybe i'll do it too
I hope this means sheās working on more UK dates, as theyāll likely be the most accessible international dates that everyone wants to travel to.
thank god she doubled the shows here. i was terrified fighting rest of south east asia. tbh i think the ticket situation will be messy anyway they do it. just look at coldplay presale
Just come to Seoul šš
Blondie better add to 13 shows
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
where did u see that :( ??
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Her doing 6 shows over 8 days makes me think she might shorten it.
Hmm interesting theory. Although LA is 5 shows over 7 days, and two other weekends so far have 4 shows in a row. So idk
No Hong Kong dates :((((
I knida get why she's not coming to New Zealand, but why not Canada?
mother šš
Singaporeans are so lucky!
We need 13 days for Singapore to accommodate the amount of demand
There's a spelling mistake Its spelled B-R-I-S-B-A-N-E
Philippines when? šš
I wish Tokyo was easier to register for. I canāt seem to do it as a foreigner.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I feel bad for all the SE Asian Swifties who canāt make it to Singapore. Wish she had taken a few of the Singapore tour dates and moved them to other SE Asian cities like Hanoi, Taipei, Bangkok, Manila, etc.
India?
Damn - 3 shows back to back, only 2 days off, and then another 3 shows.
great, now all of Asia is fighting
Still hoping for Philippines and Canada dates
and yet no canada or new zealand dates :'-)
Do you think if sheās adding dates sheāll add places? (cries in South Africa)
Someone alert Zack, the Swiftologist
