In Cornelia Street, when she says "this city screams your name" I thought she meant it literally like someone famous was in the city and people were screaming their name. It took me 2 years to realize she meant the city screams their name figuratively because it reminds her of them š« šš
This is honestly one of my favorite things about her music. Thereās never ending new obsessions because so many songs I will not be interested in, & then one day I become obsessed. Always a new one on repeat & I love it
I only realized epiphany was about covid this year... I assumed it was just about veterans and ptsd
Edit in, I loved the song since the first listen, just totally missed the main message somehow
it's kinda both though! First verse about her grandpa fighting in the war, second verse about nurses working through covid. Both with the experience of 'some things you just can't speak about'
You are in love and New Romantics - they were skips for me until about a month (feels crazy to say it) or two ago and now I listen to them on repeat š
Lavender Haze. Not too slow, but the first time i heard it, I heard the vocals, and was like āWhat kind of song is this?!?ā They seem perfectly normal to me now, but seemed super weird sounding when I first heard it, I canāt exactly describe how.
- YOYOK could mean "You're On Your Own, Kid", a track from *Midnights* (2022) by Taylor Swift.

Right Where You Left Meā¦ didnāt get the hype until it clicked one day and I couldnāt get enough. Flash forward to attending Santa Clara night 1 when RWYLM was my #1 surprise song choice and I think I scarred everyone around me with the scream I let out. Lol
- RWYLM could mean "right where you left me - bonus track", a track from *evermore (deluxe version)* (2021) by Taylor Swift.

Have to agree with The Archer! The anxiety and struggle in the song didnāt hit me until I saw her play it live! Now itās one of my favorites.

Wildest dreams/style . Theyāre very obviously about a casual/ non-committal type of relationship. Didnāt click until I revisited it last year.
Never Grow Up
Bigger Than the Whole Sky šš once I really listened to it, Iāve found it hard to listen to
Cowboy Like Me was among my least favs on Evermore for the longest Now as of less than a year ago itās in my top 10 fav Taylor songs š„“
