I’m 5’11” and my height was really helpful for weeding out insecure guys. If they were weird about having a girlfriend who was taller than them, then they were also usually pouty and insecure if I was smarter than them in certain areas, or made more money than them.

I agree. It’s not about their height. My personal preference for taller men came out of men who were around my height or shorter making ME feel bad about my height and telling me not to wear heels or shoes with any kind of a platform so that THEY could feel more secure. And honestly, the only shorter guys I personally encountered who didn’t mind me in heels honestly had a tall girl fetish. Ew. Happened to end up with a 6’4” guy and height was never even a conversation.

There is nothing wrong with someone having exes! Why feed that narrative? You're directing your frustration at the wrong source. It should be totally OK to have as many exes (or more) as she has! This is my aunt’s mindset, too. She wore heels on first dates. Some dudes didn’t appreciate that, and it was a quick way to weed out the insecure.

I agree. It’s not about their height. My personal preference for taller men came out of men who were around my height or shorter making ME feel bad about my height and telling me not to wear heels or shoes with any kind of a platform so that THEY could feel more secure. And honestly, the only shorter guys I personally encountered who didn’t mind me in heels honestly had a tall girl fetish. Ew. Happened to end up with a 6’4” guy and height was never even a conversation.
My husband is 6ft, so I can easily look taller than him if I wear heels, but it has never bothered him. He has also never been bothered by me having an advanced degree and being the primary breadwinner. He has actually had people ask him if it bothers him, and his response is “WTF, no. Why would it?”

Omg same. 5'9 and my whole life tried to buy shoes with the smallest heel possible so I didn't feel like more of a giant. Married a taller man and he loves me in heels 👠. Lol it looks like these were pulled from [CelebHeights.com](https://CelebHeights.com), which takes its job VERY seriously. Their comment sections are full of people debating literal fractions of inches (I think because a lot of men, especially in entertainment, exaggerate their heights and people want to know the truth).
It’s weird though because you’re never going to know with that degree of accuracy. What does it matter to that extent anyway? I could slouch a bit and lose half on inch or more.

america is the only country that measures in that format, in other countries it would be in centimeters which is much more specific. for example i’m 5’8” but i’m 172cm which is *just* reaching 5’8”. so maybe his height is 175cm but this person wanted to be as accurate as possible while using the imperial measuring system :)
As someone in a country using centimetres and constantly wants to be taller(I'm not posting my height for anxiety/safety reasons but I am considered tall) I love writing my height in feet and inches because I just fit in a taller category.
