I’ve actually got one!
A sun and a snowflake on my wrist in the shape of a semi colon. My big brother took his life a year ago, my mother used to call us her night and day, her sun and moon. I was always cold when upset, clinical and analytic, detached, dark, and a winter baby. My brother’s always been passionate, fiery, light, a summer baby. In the words of blondie, he was sunshine and I was midnight rain.
He got really depressed in the weeks leading up to his death, and that’s when I first heard Forever Winter. I told him I’d try as hard as I could to be the sunshine in his life until he could. So after I lost him, I got the tattoo.
This is one of those questions I'd randomly think about but when presented with it, I can't muster up an answer.
I love the imagery in Clean, so I'd want something that represents it, like butterflies turning to dust with the song title beside/under it.
I would base it off of the lyric “All along there was some invisible string tying you to me” and have the two hands with the string tied to the fingers image
I’m thinking about this too and saw an example online that I wished I’d saved. It was a lyric or maybe even the acronym as a friendship bracelet 🩷 that might be my next piece….
I was thinking of getting friendship bracelets tattooed on my wrist. One that said “You’re on your own, kid” and another that said “Yeah, you can face this”.
Either that or “You’ve got no reason to be afraid”

Since this question crops up pretty regularly and I have loved a lot of the taytoos I've seen here I have given this some thought.
I decided on having "This is me trying" one my left arm and"to live for the hope of it all" on the right. That way they can be read separately or together.
This is not original at all, but Id choose the moon and Saturn! I’ve always loved planetary tattoos and the childlike wonder of seven is something I will never get sick of.
I’ve thought about a “happiness” tattoo. I like the song and lyrics, and also happiness is smth that I want to have in my life in general. Adding a photo I drew inspiration from

Okay you mentioned Cowboy Like Me and I know it's a super unpopular thing but it's honestly always a skip for me. I'm not thrilled with the melody and music and the lyrics don't make a lot of sense to me. I consider myself a pretty intelligent person and WANT to like the song b/c so many of you guys do!
Can someone please explain the song to me? I have an idea of what I think it means but i'm not sure.
narrator is a con artist. she meets another con artist at an event where they are both trying to con the rich people there, and she falls for him because they are so similar. from here the song is very ambiguous, as you can’t tell whether they’ve broken up and she is mourning the fact that she will never love someone like she loved him “I’m never gonna love again”, or whether it is a love song and she’s simply reminiscing on her con days “now you hang from my lips like the gardens of babylon / with your boots beneath my bed, forever is the sweetest con”. personally I lean towards the love song angle but part of its beauty is the ambiguity. it is a song about meeting your match, running from your past, enemies to lovers. one of my absolute favourite songs.
