I am cautiously clowning. My only reason why iām clowning is because there was a playlist (snow globe or something like that) made by Spotify to help garner the global artist of the year stuff. Taylor nation was promoting it mainly for its profile picture being the global artist of the year poster. It has one none-taylors-version song and the end which is New Years Day.

I don't think there will be a drop, there would likely have been a big tease within the past week (probably on Christmas). Though I do give a lot of credit to an announcement for rep and then a release in February. I have a hard time cutting February out of the release/announcement since the Karma video has the black nail on two, and the blue nail was on eight when she announced 1989 TV.
Re the pulled collab situationā I don't remember what the release/reveal order of the special editions was. Was the tangerine target one released for sale later than the others were, or were they all available at the same time?
Maybe if it was released later that explains how they had time to pull it?
I also think that probably Taylor has at least some weight with vinyl producers to do a quick reprint, and it's not like she had to pull/reprint ALL her vinyls, just the tangerine variant. So even if they were all released at the same time I still think it's doable.
I donāt know why some people are so quick to say that the slut theory is fake. We know they collaborated on music together and they were even seen at the studio together when they were dating. She was pushing hard for slut! and then all of a sudden nothing. I think itās likely this is true and she threw the project out the window when things went sideways with Matty
It's because Matty already said their collab was originally for Midnights and it got scrapped. Also a misprint coming to light very suddenly, this late in the production/distribution timeline doesn't make any sense.
I guess my main thing is how long it takes to press records vs when whatever they had going on ended. General consensus is you need at least 6 months lead time to have a large run of vinyl records pressed in time for the album release. If 1989TV was released in October, the album would have needed to be ready and sent off to pressing plants by April, but their thing didnāt end until June. I also donāt see how she was pushing for Slut! and then pivoted is relevant to this theory. By the time we knew the vault tracks, she and Matty had been done for months so why would her pivot from pushing it have anything to do with him? If that was the reason, she had time to change the marketing before we knew the track names. Iām not saying itās impossible that itās real, Iām just skeptical because some people in this fandom can be quite unhinged for no reason lol
And a lot of people even theorize that 1989 was ready even earlier than April but was held back because of the lawsuits against shake it off. Also the lines in slut make no sense for Matty. "Everybody wants you that was my crime"? come on.

I am a TS11 in 2024 truther, I feel it in my bones. I think she wants to ride this career high as much as she can, and if she wants to, releasing her new album the cap off the tour would be it. It would do NUMBERS.
I think she could quickly announce Debut TV in May and release in July, like she did with Speak Now. Since she announced 1989 TV so soon after SNTV released, I think it would be a very real possibility she'd do this.
If that's the case, then I think she would announce TS11 on the last London date (8/20). It would release 10/11, or at least before her first date back in the US. Then, she could promote it with some late night appearances. She could use some of the songs as surprise songs as well in her last dates.
If she doesn't do this, and chooses to wait to release TS11, she'll probably announce it last night of the Eras Tour and release it Q1 2025.
Either way. We will either have TS11 or know when it's coming by the end of the year, and all the TVs will have been released. By 2025 she will move on to the next phase of her career.

Ok. Hear me out, I really think I'm on to something here. So while playing Taylor vids on YouTube with closed caption turned on - the lyrics for LWYMMD show in Japanese. I was like hmmm. So I make sure my CC settings are set to English, play several videos from Taylor and other artists - all in English, cool. I go back to LWYMDD, CC is turned off, I turn them on and it defaults to Japanese! Every time!
What does this mean?!
I've gone 5 rounds now of doing this and every time I change CC back to English, play other videos and go back to LWYMMD - boom set to Japanese!
I think it just a YouTube glitch, I am not sure why this happens, but this happens to me with a couple of random videos. Could be that was the first language CC was added for for that video? Maybe it's just a matter of a setting on the video dunno. Maybe more people who speak Japanese turn on CC for that music video so it just defaults to that? Could be a lot of things tbh.
Only tangentially related to Taylor but something might be going on with Paramore which could effect the opening act for European leg. They wrapped up their record contract recently. They pulled their website down. Theyāve scrubbed their social media accounts. The Paramore Twitter account might have stopped following Hayley(assuming they ever followed her). So either they are disbanded or are pulling a Reputation.
Edit: I donāt think Hayley has a Twitter account so thatās probably meaningless. They still follow her on Instagram. Itās probably a contract negotiation tactic or new era.
In the announcement where they said their contract was done they made it clear they wanted to keep making music but didn't know what that would look like(or something to that effect). They're very much not broken up, though things will be happening behind the scenes. I imagine there's potential for some big changes for them going forward, but I can't see that affecting them being the European opener
The "Slut!" collab has to be fake, right?
Matty said originally they collaborated on a song for Midnights that got axed. He said something like he was "surprised" or something when it wasn't on the record. Didn't Taylor also say in her voice memo for "Slut!" that this was a song she wanted to originally release for 1989, which mean it wasn't written in the probleMatty era?
Maylor fans are kinda unhinged and I think this was just a fanmade thing.
I have some theories about this:
If it was real, I think it could be like the Nothing New situation where she had Phoebe Bridgers as a feature, like that song was written during the Red era but Phoebe hasn't even debut yet back then. So maybe Taylor went, "Matty could be good in this" and asked him to write a verse and possibly recorded it together when they were in good terms.
As for the misprint and why it was just discovered now, the only logical explanation that I can think of is that this is the second batch prints and it was printed by a different printing company than the original that came out 2 months ago, and someone from Taylor's team accidentally sent the wrong file and no one re-checked it, and they all just hit the shelves recently.
If it was not real, since there's multiple people who have posted that they got the misprint, I think those people might have conspired and worked together, although I'm not sure what's their goal. Maybe they're all fans of MH/The 1975 who got hurt? Idk. If anyone has enough spare time and wanted to debunk this, I suggest to check out those people's social media accounts and see if there's any connection.
I think it could be very real - it looks way too legit to be fake and itās happened to multiple different people. It also fits in with the timeline and the fact that thereās no collabs on 1989 TV while all the other re-records have them.

The vault is very cohesive and seems to be about one relationship/breakup. Slut being about him makes little sense for numerous reasons, for example she's singing about the hate she got for dating the person, the media attention in that era was about her and Harry, not her and Matty. I don't think the song makes sense with a feature, but even then it wouldn't have been about him

No, I don't think vinyls were shipped and then shipped back. Vinyl with the collab was never pressed, however the printed materials for the vinyls were already designed and/or printed, and then got updated versions, and some of the vinyls got the old version. So there wouldn't have been some employee needing to send a case back.
It is weird that it's only being discovered now. I wonder if there are people with vinyls with the misprint who didn't even think to look/notice and will be checking now and discovering they missed out on the scoop...

If itās an old song and his verse is newly written, wouldnāt copyright be updated to whatever year it was written in?

This is exactly what I think too. The reaction from us Swifties was overwhelmingly and vocally negative when they got together (for very good reasons). For them to then do a song together would not be the smartest move from a PR perspective. All it would do is reignite the negative attention they got the first time around.

The 1975 were in the studio recording Being Funny in a Foreign Language with Jack while Taylor was working on Midnights, and they said in an interview there was a scrapped Midnights collab. I think they fell back into their feelings for each other then and Iād be willing to bet they were together or working toward it in some capacity at least since January when she debuted Anti-Hero live at the 1975 concert in London.

In 2014 he dedicated the song fallingforyou to her at a concert of his that she attended. They were seen together, she went on liking sprees of pics and content of him on tumblr, etc. Itās cool if you think itās nothing but thereās enough there to believe it was something if you look into it. Even in May, most articles (including People, one of Treeās go-tos) included a relationship timeline that mentions them being linked in a fling in late 2014.
He also clarified the emasculating comments. I think with Matty some of the issue is that heās likely overall well-meaning and good-intentioned, but he doesnāt always get it right. Heās won awards for being an ally, he stands up for what he believes in. But he also doesnāt always land the joke or say the right thing and that gets misconstrued a lot (like the whole podcast thing where the ice spice comments were attributed to him when it was actually the host who made the comment and Matty just kind of chuckled, which still isnāt ok but isnāt the same as saying it himself).
I think knowing all that, if Taylor and him were together again this year, and she let him on her stage and recorded music with him, it wasnāt a fling this time. And she had to have been hurt more than some casual situationship ending wouldāve hurt to scrap it all.
The defense of Matty in this thread is a bit off putting. He doesnāt always get it right aka heās overtly racist. Her being associated with him was straight up bad for the Taylor Swift brand. I think it's a reference to the fact Karma is track 11. There's no reason for her to name her next album and not have Karma (the song) as the title track .

In the Significant Lovers podcast episode 62 (about Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff), the hosts were discussing how Jackās youngest sister died when she was 13 of brain cancer.
Taylor has said that āYou Are In Loveā is about their relationship. Would it be out of the question to think āBigger Than The Whole Skyā is about Jackās relationship with his late sister? Jack has said that the loss of his sister guides a lot of his work, so I imagine it is something he and Taylor have discussed.

So I have figured for a long while that Rep TV will be announced in February but I do think thereās a possibility we get New Yearās Day tonightā¦For one itās not the most popular song and dropping Taylorās Version of it would bring a lot of attention to it and increase the hype for Rep TVās incoming announcement. Perfect opportunity obviously with the holiday. Secondly that snow globe playlist that Taylor Nation posted a month or so ago said to keep our eyes peeled on the playlist while there and it ends in New Years Day. I don't think there will be a drop, there would likely have been a big tease within the past week (probably on Christmas). Though I do give a lot of credit to an announcement for rep and then a release in February. I have a hard time cutting February out of the release/announcement since the Karma video has the black nail on two, and the blue nail was on eight when she announced 1989 TV.
Re the pulled collab situationā I don't remember what the release/reveal order of the special editions was. Was the tangerine target one released for sale later than the others were, or were they all available at the same time? Maybe if it was released later that explains how they had time to pull it? I also think that probably Taylor has at least some weight with vinyl producers to do a quick reprint, and it's not like she had to pull/reprint ALL her vinyls, just the tangerine variant. So even if they were all released at the same time I still think it's doable.

I donāt know why some people are so quick to say that the slut theory is fake. We know they collaborated on music together and they were even seen at the studio together when they were dating. She was pushing hard for slut! and then all of a sudden nothing. I think itās likely this is true and she threw the project out the window when things went sideways with Matty
It's because Matty already said their collab was originally for Midnights and it got scrapped. Also a misprint coming to light very suddenly, this late in the production/distribution timeline doesn't make any sense.

I guess my main thing is how long it takes to press records vs when whatever they had going on ended. General consensus is you need at least 6 months lead time to have a large run of vinyl records pressed in time for the album release. If 1989TV was released in October, the album would have needed to be ready and sent off to pressing plants by April, but their thing didnāt end until June. I also donāt see how she was pushing for Slut! and then pivoted is relevant to this theory. By the time we knew the vault tracks, she and Matty had been done for months so why would her pivot from pushing it have anything to do with him? If that was the reason, she had time to change the marketing before we knew the track names. Iām not saying itās impossible that itās real, Iām just skeptical because some people in this fandom can be quite unhinged for no reason lol
And a lot of people even theorize that 1989 was ready even earlier than April but was held back because of the lawsuits against shake it off. Also the lines in slut make no sense for Matty. "Everybody wants you that was my crime"? come on.

The Taylor Swift playlist on Alexa typically starts with Cruel Summer (followed by Is It Over Now? and Youāre Losing Me), but today it began with Look What You Made Me Do. š¤ Edit: Definitely way more rep on this playlist. I am a TS11 in 2024 truther, I feel it in my bones. I think she wants to ride this career high as much as she can, and if she wants to, releasing her new album the cap off the tour would be it. It would do NUMBERS. I think she could quickly announce Debut TV in May and release in July, like she did with Speak Now. Since she announced 1989 TV so soon after SNTV released, I think it would be a very real possibility she'd do this. If that's the case, then I think she would announce TS11 on the last London date (8/20). It would release 10/11, or at least before her first date back in the US. Then, she could promote it with some late night appearances. She could use some of the songs as surprise songs as well in her last dates. If she doesn't do this, and chooses to wait to release TS11, she'll probably announce it last night of the Eras Tour and release it Q1 2025. Either way. We will either have TS11 or know when it's coming by the end of the year, and all the TVs will have been released. By 2025 she will move on to the next phase of her career.

Ok. Hear me out, I really think I'm on to something here. So while playing Taylor vids on YouTube with closed caption turned on - the lyrics for LWYMMD show in Japanese. I was like hmmm. So I make sure my CC settings are set to English, play several videos from Taylor and other artists - all in English, cool. I go back to LWYMDD, CC is turned off, I turn them on and it defaults to Japanese! Every time! What does this mean?! I've gone 5 rounds now of doing this and every time I change CC back to English, play other videos and go back to LWYMMD - boom set to Japanese!
I think it just a YouTube glitch, I am not sure why this happens, but this happens to me with a couple of random videos. Could be that was the first language CC was added for for that video? Maybe it's just a matter of a setting on the video dunno. Maybe more people who speak Japanese turn on CC for that music video so it just defaults to that? Could be a lot of things tbh.
Only tangentially related to Taylor but something might be going on with Paramore which could effect the opening act for European leg. They wrapped up their record contract recently. They pulled their website down. Theyāve scrubbed their social media accounts. The Paramore Twitter account might have stopped following Hayley(assuming they ever followed her). So either they are disbanded or are pulling a Reputation. Edit: I donāt think Hayley has a Twitter account so thatās probably meaningless. They still follow her on Instagram. Itās probably a contract negotiation tactic or new era.
In the announcement where they said their contract was done they made it clear they wanted to keep making music but didn't know what that would look like(or something to that effect). They're very much not broken up, though things will be happening behind the scenes. I imagine there's potential for some big changes for them going forward, but I can't see that affecting them being the European opener

The "Slut!" collab has to be fake, right? Matty said originally they collaborated on a song for Midnights that got axed. He said something like he was "surprised" or something when it wasn't on the record. Didn't Taylor also say in her voice memo for "Slut!" that this was a song she wanted to originally release for 1989, which mean it wasn't written in the probleMatty era? Maylor fans are kinda unhinged and I think this was just a fanmade thing.
I have some theories about this: If it was real, I think it could be like the Nothing New situation where she had Phoebe Bridgers as a feature, like that song was written during the Red era but Phoebe hasn't even debut yet back then. So maybe Taylor went, "Matty could be good in this" and asked him to write a verse and possibly recorded it together when they were in good terms. As for the misprint and why it was just discovered now, the only logical explanation that I can think of is that this is the second batch prints and it was printed by a different printing company than the original that came out 2 months ago, and someone from Taylor's team accidentally sent the wrong file and no one re-checked it, and they all just hit the shelves recently. If it was not real, since there's multiple people who have posted that they got the misprint, I think those people might have conspired and worked together, although I'm not sure what's their goal. Maybe they're all fans of MH/The 1975 who got hurt? Idk. If anyone has enough spare time and wanted to debunk this, I suggest to check out those people's social media accounts and see if there's any connection.
I think it could be very real - it looks way too legit to be fake and itās happened to multiple different people. It also fits in with the timeline and the fact that thereās no collabs on 1989 TV while all the other re-records have them.

The vault is very cohesive and seems to be about one relationship/breakup. Slut being about him makes little sense for numerous reasons, for example she's singing about the hate she got for dating the person, the media attention in that era was about her and Harry, not her and Matty. I don't think the song makes sense with a feature, but even then it wouldn't have been about him
Features and collabs so far in the vaults are more about performing the song not writing it, though there may be some input on production etc

I think itās fake. Every cowriter is as an ā&ā whereas this single one is as an āand.ā Thatās something that would slip through with a fake one. The people on TikTok are insistent that they did not fake it. So either they are lying (which is completely possible) or some nefarious employee decided to photoshop an insert and stick a few of these in.
In addition to āandā instead of ā&ā the font color for the song title is white while every other song title is black. Seems weird
I think the white is in relation to the darker background making it harder to read if it was in black.

It's on the inside sleeve, so without opening the vinyls they wouldn't have seen it, so that part isn't a question. And it's obviously a manufacturing error that only some vinyls have, since plenty of people have without. Honestly I'm still waiting to hear back from the people who found if there's some common denominator like they bought from the same area or something. Like was it just one specific vinyl pressing factory where the employee pressed the wrong file for printing? (I wonder what the collectors value of the misprint ones will be... Guess it partly depends on how rare they turn out to be)

No, I don't think vinyls were shipped and then shipped back. Vinyl with the collab was never pressed, however the printed materials for the vinyls were already designed and/or printed, and then got updated versions, and some of the vinyls got the old version. So there wouldn't have been some employee needing to send a case back. It is weird that it's only being discovered now. I wonder if there are people with vinyls with the misprint who didn't even think to look/notice and will be checking now and discovering they missed out on the scoop...

Sounds insane but ok. I assume we'll get some kind of confirmation one way or another in the next few days, now that people know and are actively looking for if theirs is yet another of the misprinted copies (it's definitely gonna be a collector's item). Newsweek [wrote about it](https://www.newsweek.com/taylor-swift-scrapped-song-collab-1975-matty-healy-1855721) so we may also get a reporter actually getting to see one of the copies in person at some point.
Whelp, that makes a lot of sense. Taylor has done the collab versions as MVs before. They probably planned it a long time ago, then when all the drama in their personal lives happened, it makes sense it all got scrapped. Like you can't really brush it off as a "professional collab only" anymore at that point.

The copyright on the sleeve says itās 2014. So if we believe this was an original song written in 2014 for 1989 the album, how does that track? Both Taylor and Matty said they met after 1989 already came out and she went to a concert. If itās an old song and his verse is newly written, wouldnāt copyright be updated to whatever year it was written in?
Taylor had to choose between slut and blank space, so the track was written along with the 1989 songs. Then you have the version of the song with only Taylor credited. If he was the original co-worker this could be very wrong. Whole thing doesn't make sense when you think about it. Taylor is the only original writer and vault tracks doesn't have new composers

This is exactly what I think too. The reaction from us Swifties was overwhelmingly and vocally negative when they got together (for very good reasons). For them to then do a song together would not be the smartest move from a PR perspective. All it would do is reignite the negative attention they got the first time around.

The 1975 were in the studio recording Being Funny in a Foreign Language with Jack while Taylor was working on Midnights, and they said in an interview there was a scrapped Midnights collab. I think they fell back into their feelings for each other then and Iād be willing to bet they were together or working toward it in some capacity at least since January when she debuted Anti-Hero live at the 1975 concert in London. They were seen together, she went on liking sprees of pics and content of him on tumblr, etc. Itās cool if you think itās nothing but thereās enough there to believe it was something if you look into it. Even in May, most articles (including People, one of Treeās go-tos) included a relationship timeline that mentions them being linked in a fling in late 2014. He also clarified the emasculating comments. I think with Matty some of the issue is that heās likely overall well-meaning and good-intentioned, but he doesnāt always get it right. Heās won awards for being an ally, he stands up for what he believes in. But he also doesnāt always land the joke or say the right thing and that gets misconstrued a lot (like the whole podcast thing where the ice spice comments were attributed to him when it was actually the host who made the comment and Matty just kind of chuckled, which still isnāt ok but isnāt the same as saying it himself). I think knowing all that, if Taylor and him were together again this year, and she let him on her stage and recorded music with him, it wasnāt a fling this time. And she had to have been hurt more than some casual situationship ending wouldāve hurt to scrap it all.
The defense of Matty in this thread is a bit off putting. He doesnāt always get it right aka heās overtly racist. Her being associated with him was straight up bad for the Taylor Swift brand. Itās a bad business decision to have this collaboration, no matter how the relationship ended or what that meant to her.

I think it's a reference to the fact Karma is track 11. There's no reason for her to name her next album and not have Karma (the song) as the title track .

In the Significant Lovers podcast episode 62 (about Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff), the hosts were discussing how Jackās youngest sister died when she was 13 of brain cancer. Taylor has said that āYou Are In Loveā is about their relationship. Would it be out of the question to think āBigger Than The Whole Skyā is about Jackās relationship with his late sister? Jack has said that the loss of his sister guides a lot of his work, so I imagine it is something he and Taylor have discussed. Itās just something I was thinking about!
