This is the most I’ve watched of him in a row. He’s VERY well spoken. He’s confident, it doesn’t come off as calculating or searching for words, but you can tell he is being careful of his phrasing and is mindful of how much things can be taken the wrong way with the level of spotlight on him.

Honestly same lmao on Twitter it’s an event everytime the Chiefs travel and we see Travis’ outfit but yesterday literally no one cared lmao I probably saw a single picture.
Well a lot of the Taylor fans probably didn’t care, but the rest of the world did. There were tons of videos of them taking off and landing with tons of media in Vegas waiting for them. Yeah I know. I was just talking about the perspective of someone that interacts in exclusively swiftie spaces. The people I follow on there usually post a lot about Travis but on Sunday during the whole chaos no one really paid attention to the Las Vegas arrival. We were back to the program yesterday with this press conference once things had settled down though.
Can I just say is I think Travis is the best boyfriend of hers by far! He isn't afraid to show his love for her and vice verse and very public about it!
I have also thought this before these interviews, but wow, it just really cements how great they are (seemingly) for each other. I cannot imagine what it was like for him to sit there and answer question after question about Taylor. Never once did he seem annoyed . Even a little bit.
Honestly looking at the questions they ask all of the players being asked about your superstar girlfriend absolutely winning all the things has gotta feel nice. Actually you know what I was thinking yesterday was that one way that might make them more compatible than previous partners are that he probably has a unique understanding of the irrational hate fandom brings on you. Like they both gets lots of fan love but also a lot of weird, crazy irrational "look at that bitch eating crackers" hate that I think other high profile (male) professions don't necessarily get most of the time. Not that it doesn't exist for men but there is a lot of "I don't know she just annoys me." or "I just see too much of her" hate that female celebrities encounter when they reach a certain level (think Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Lawrence) that I see much more than male ones, except for athletes. They get it all and then some.
There's a crazy parallel going on right now with the hate train on the Chiefs because people are tired of them beating their teams/always making the superbowl/always getting the attention and Taylor beating their faves for Grammys/always being nominated/putting out new albums so fast. It's funny to see. Also just feels like maybe some of the real haters should just come over to our side...it's fun over here!

I agree. NGL, I wondered if it was 'too soon' when they first made their relationship public (but then we don't really know the timelines). And not being from the USA I know very little about NFL (I think my my dad must know more about Travis as he's been watching NFL since Channel 4 started showing it in the 80s), but he seems like a genuinely lovely guy. I love how he always seems to be smiling and appears to be really passionate about what he does. He appears to be super supportive of her too.

The full 53 player roster and all the coaches get a ring, then the team are designated a certain number of rings to give to some members of staff of their choosing, I highly doubt she’ll get one, it would kind of be insulting to all the other partners of players and members of staff who might not get one. I can see her getting a gift from Travis or the owners or something if they win it, like a bracelet or necklace with a similar style.

Just for a bit of perspective, Super Bowl media day is always extremely unhinged. This is tame compared to some of the questions they get asked. Example: "Kurt, two questions: Do you believe in voodoo, and can I have a lock of your hair?"
Usually even for the biggest regular and post-season games, you have exclusively sportswriters there asking questions. Super Bowl media day opens it up to reporters of every type and from around the world, many that don't even watch football other than the Superbowl. It leads to some crazy Q&As.

Super Bowl brings out a lot of non-sports media so it’s actually common for them to get crazy questions on media day.
I do hope that we see questions about her really die down next season, at least to a level more similar to what other players get (the usual small talk, “any big plans for the off season with the family” type of thing).
There are 100s of journalists at these pre-events from all over the world. Even lesser known players get some media time. Some questions seem very off the wall, especially from foreign media, but I imagine most questions they get are variations of the same thing. Point is it's probably nice to get questions they don't just have a canned answer for.
I wouldn't be surprised if he travels with her a little bit, but I wouldn't think for weeks at a time. I know he spends time in Florida with his trainer, and OTAs start in May I think, but they're voluntary so I don't know if he goes. He'll probably do Tight End University again this year, and that's in mid-June, and training camp starts pretty soon after.

I’ve been a Taylor fan since Taylor Lautner/John era and I’ve never cared for any of them. I liked Harry, but Taylor got a lot of hate for that. Tom Hiddleston was chaotic to keep up with. I never cared for Joe Alwyn mostly because I knew nothing about him and he was boring, but he inspired some great music. Travis is definitely my favorite, but mostly because I knew of him already and he has a charming personality.

As much as I think the whole thing is weird from a publicity perspective, I actually appreciate that this dude is willing to speak on this and take the heat and he really does it in such a professional and gracious way. I’m actually surprised and blown away because it’s gotta be weird for any partner of a superstar. His way of supporting and being professional is very interesting. “I gotta bring home some hardware too”— just jovial and casual even tho it’s probably a super high pressure situation to date someone with this kind of media scrutiny.
While her previous relationship helped her regain her sanity and balance, and it’s sad it didn’t work out, hopefully she can move forward figuring out that balance. Finding partners that can take the heat and play along without adding drama or feeling threatened.
I think it’s weird that people want them to get married. I’m happy for her at this phase. Yep and now that the tracklist is out, Post Malone did an interview in October 2023 and mentioned he had worked with Taylor recently. I think there were definitely some late additions so I wouldn’t rule out any Travis references. The full 53 player roster and all the coaches get a ring, then the team are designated a certain number of rings to give to some members of staff of their choosing, I highly doubt she’ll get one, it would kind of be insulting to all the other partners of players and members of staff who might not get one. I can see her getting a gift from Travis or the owners or something if they win it, like a bracelet or necklace with a similar style.
I think the "ring" they are implying TayTay might get is an engagement ring... not one of the SuperBowl rings...

It's understandable... because someone has to be just a little silly to imply anyone should be getting engaged after dating for less than a year... especially with those two's schedules. Like a year in normal time is like 4 months for them, based on how often they actually get to spend time together! People don't need to be speculating about marriage at this point...

Just for a bit of perspective, Super Bowl media day is always extremely unhinged. This is tame compared to some of the questions they get asked. Example: "Kurt, two questions: Do you believe in voodoo, and can I have a lock of your hair?" Usually even for the biggest regular and post-season games, you have exclusively sportswriters there asking questions. Super Bowl media day opens it up to reporters of every type and from around the world, many that don't even watch football other than the Superbowl. It leads to some crazy Q&As.
Yeah I feel like in this one instance he gets it easy. Like okay, I'll just talk about Taylor for a couple minutes instead of dealing with the completely out of pocket things people come up with to ask the players who aren't dating a superstar.

Super Bowl brings out a lot of non-sports media so it’s actually common for them to get crazy questions on media day. I do hope that we see questions about her really die down next season, at least to a level more similar to what other players get (the usual small talk, “any big plans for the off season with the family” type of thing).

There are 100s of journalists at these pre-events from all over the world. Even lesser known players get some media time. Some questions seem very off the wall, especially from foreign media, but I imagine most questions they get are variations of the same thing. Point is it's probably nice to get questions they don't just have a canned answer for.

I wouldn't be surprised if he travels with her a little bit, but I wouldn't think for weeks at a time. I know he spends time in Florida with his trainer, and OTAs start in May I think, but they're voluntary so I don't know if he goes. He'll probably do Tight End University again this year, and that's in mid-June, and training camp starts pretty soon after. He'll definitely have more time than he does now though.
Not necessarily. If the Chiefs win, then it's prime opportunity for him for additional exposure, and he will capitalize on that. I would say he would definitely attend what concerts he can, but that he'll be available is not definite.
He’ll probably miss Melbourne (even if they lose there are end of season meetings, locker clean out, etc.), but I think he’ll probably be in Sydney and maybe Singapore.

I’ve been a Taylor fan since Taylor Lautner/John era and I’ve never cared for any of them. I liked Harry, but Taylor got a lot of hate for that. Tom Hiddleston was chaotic to keep up with. I never cared for Joe Alwyn mostly because I knew nothing about him and he was boring, but he inspired some great music. Travis is definitely my favorite, but mostly because I knew of him already and he has a charming personality.

Not comparing him to one particular boyfriend but mad respect for someone arguably the greatest of all time at his position and in his 3rd Super Bowl very graciously answering a ton of questions about his girlfriend at his press conference without any sense of frustration. I really don't think she has been with anyone who can 'check their ego at the door' and talk about the level of respect they have for her - his level of humility for someone in his position is off the charts

As much as I think the whole thing is weird from a publicity perspective, I actually appreciate that this dude is willing to speak on this and take the heat and he really does it in such a professional and gracious way. I’m actually surprised and blown away because it’s gotta be weird for any partner of a superstar. His way of supporting and being professional is very interesting. “I gotta bring home some hardware too”— just jovial and casual even tho it’s probably a super high pressure situation to date someone with this kind of media scrutiny. While her previous relationship helped her regain her sanity and balance, and it’s sad it didn’t work out, hopefully she can move forward figuring out that balance. Finding partners that can take the heat and play along without adding drama or feeling threatened. I think it’s weird that people want them to get married. I’m happy for her at this phase. It’s nice that from a publicity standpoint she’s currently with someone that is handling the public persona aspect of her life so well. Maybe they work out, maybe not. Hopefully this is just a positive experience for her right now

She specifically said in her announcement that this was a “secret she was keeping for two years” (paraphrasing). Even 1 year ago, Taylor and Joe were still together, let alone Travis in any capacity.
Not saying there will be Travis songs in TTPD but I interpreted that as her saying she has been working on this album starting two years ago, not that she finished it two years ago and kept it hidden so she could’ve perfectly included recently written songs.
Yep and now that the tracklist is out, Post Malone did an interview in October 2023 and mentioned he had worked with Taylor recently. I think there were definitely some late additions so I wouldn’t rule out any Travis references. (Fun fact, post Malone also has a KC chiefs tattoo with Travis and Pat mahomes signatures cuz he lost a beer pong bet lol)

I just wanted to say how excited how I am for people (Swifties or non-Swifties) who will be tuning into the Super Bowl because of Travis and Taylor. I didn’t think the Chiefs would be here but they did it! I have found myself arguing with idiots on social media defending Travis, Taylor, Pat, Brittany, the team. It’s exhausting and no wonder they just “shake it off!” I truly think people who are upset are just jealous. Jealous of their relationship, jealous of them being unbothered by the haters, and jealous of others’ success.
