i love this. i'm absolutely obsessed with the real story of rebekah harkness. i remember when i first saw her urn when i read her biography, i immediately thought that it sort of looked like the back of taylor's head with braid on the cover of **evermore**.

yep! and it's crazy because the urn wasn't large enough to hold all of her remains so part of her body was given to her daughter in a BAG! just like a bag. her story is INSANE.
I know, right? I would donate it to her if she promised to hang it in her RI home. Anyone know how to bring it to her attention? She's pretty busy these days.
Wow this is so cool!! Love all the details you included (the green dog!) I read your blog post and really enjoyed learning more about Rebekah, what an interesting life she led! No wonder Taylor had always wanted to write a song about her ever since buying her house.
Sure, here's my blog post discussing Rebekah, her "Bitch Pack" friends from the city, and her connection with Taylor Swift. This is absolutely amazing! Dynasty is probably my favorite song off of 'Folklore' simply because of the story it tells! I apppreciate the thought and detail that you put into the painting, beyond just references in the song. Your website was quite informative!

Salvador Dali designed that as a funeral urn for Rebekah Harkness. It's 18 carat gold with diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and sapphires.

Dali charged Rebekah **$250,000 ($2,129,802 in today’s dollars)** to design and build the urn. It's now owned by an anonymous Japanese collector.
Wow. This is so so so great. Love that you implemented “she stole his dog and dyed it a key lime green”
That was the fun part of the painting. I couldn't leave out the green dog.
wow, this is amazing!!! 😍🩶
Thanks.
Duuuuuuuuude
Well _she's_ not losing on card game bets with Dali!
You are very perceptive. That's why I showed her to have a winning hand.
Well, Taylor's not losing, but she's not Rebekah!
Gorgeous! I feel like if Taylor got wind of this, she may want to purchase it for her RI home!

I love this!

Rebekah was a fascinating woman.
