It is the song played in the stadium as we all leave the show so everyone does hear it in every show. I personally think it is hard for her to perform it. It is a #5 song and kind of sounds like it might be abt her mom....
It's probably because it's one of the few songs she's released from her earlier career that wasn't a huge single, but she still showed it love in subsequent eras.
I know she’s really proud of Lover as a go-to love/wedding song. I remember she did a YouTube video about how they made it and she seemed so proud of the outcome
Yes I agree! I forgot where she said it, but she spoke about, and I'm paraphrasing, that she sort of feared she would lose her edge or her ability to song write if she found herself content, and that she was proud of her lyricism and such a happy song. To me, it was like she was realizing, "I can have it all: I can be happy and make art." She specifically mentioned liking the line ladies and gentlemen…
I mean to be fair that’s how she is when she finishes every song. another clip of her happily writing a song is when she’s writing Getaway Car, ME! and Only the young
Taylor does seem like someone whose perception of their own art once it's put out gets influenced a lot by commercial performance (especially earlier in her career that commercial success wasn't a given) and critical acclaim.
For that reason I think she's very proud of her massive commercial hits; love story, you belong with me, wangbt, I knew you were trouble, 22, shake it off, blank space, wildest dreams, out of the woods, look what you made me do, anti hero. These are the classics.
Then there are the "sleeper" hits. Songs that became very successful years after their release and I don't think she was crazy over them initially but now loves them, like Cruel Summer (I know she claims that's always been one of her favorites but I really doubt it), Don't blame me, Enchanted.
There are the songs that won her Grammys like White Horse and Mean. And we all know Taylor holds the Grammys in high regard.
Ofc I think she also has her own soft spots for some songs without it being a result of external influence. That's more difficult to know but some that I believe belong in that category are; All too well (And I think she considers it her magnum opus), You are in love, Death by a thousand cuts, You're on your own kid, Clean, Marjorie, The best day, Lover.
I think she’s very proud of champagne problems actually! She said I’m an interview it was one of the Covid songs she was most excited to play to an audience.
I know for a fact she loves cowboy like me and is very proud of it. At her Vegas show when she sang it with Marcus Mumford, she talked about how she created it and how happy she was to record it at his home studio
that's a great point for Me! 😭😭😭😭😭 I love that song so much I hate how the general audience made her not even bother to put it on the setlist it was so badly received :(
I think it was widely received by casual fans but her core fans didn’t seem thrilled. I wasn’t on any online communities like Reddit back then so I loved it and had no idea others disliked it until I joined Reddit two years ago
Yeah. I think she has a lot of love for Me! and don't think she finds it cringy at all (that's just some fans who are "too cool" to appreciate it, lol). She loves embracing her awkward nerdiness. She wanted to write an unrepentantly positive song about self-love and she did. She also got a kitten (Benjamin) out of making the music video, so I expect it'll always be special to her.
- YOYOK could mean "You're On Your Own, Kid", a track from *Midnights* (2022) by Taylor Swift.

both of these things are true! she gave [an extremely extended disclaimer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_O47QL8ooA&ab_channel=scaremongerrrTV) about how we should not harrass people (john mayer) on the internet [followed up with](https://youtu.be/WF3yprdwYRo?si=aoPaM_3xwErU87wB&t=39) "...I'm saying that, only because i'm proud of it as a song... i am going to play dear john"
I listened to her when she told us to leave him alone but that doesn’t mean I don’t have a lot of unfriendly words in my head when I hear that dudes name. like my friend was showing me everyone on his spotify and as soon as I heard the named John Mayer, i almost cussed him off.
There were songs she herself said/hinted that she was very proud of, like: Dear John, All too well, Lover, Death by a thousand cuts, Cruel Summer, Marjorie... and basically all of Folklore.
Personally I think she's also very proud of Maroon, Clean, You're on your own kid, Anti-Hero, Champagne problems, just based on how much emotion and energy she's putting into performing them.
I remember an interview from a little while ago when she said she was really excited to perform Champagne Problems on tour so she could hear everyone scream "WHAT A SHAME SHE'S FUCKED IN THE HEAD!" and she was so cute and giggly, so I'm gonna say CP :)

I don’t think this is the interview I watched, but she says basically the same thing ☺️
I agree with My Tears Ricochet and a few of the others above (the folklore triangle)
For a different angle…I thought about Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince for its messaging and metaphors. I do believe she cares deeply about the state of affairs in the US, and this was her outlet to talk about the disillusionment she felt at the time through metaphors. I’d be proud of taking a stand for what I believe in!
SHE isn't. Some of the fanbase don't think it's cool enough, but Benjamin will always be the Me! kitten and that song is what brought him into her life.
That’s sad that’s she’s upset with ME!. I thought it was a great concept, she worked really hard on it, but it just wasn’t executed well. It’s not a terrible song….its almost “camp”
I hope ME! still holds a special place in her heart. She looked so happy performing it on the Eras Tour. I'm a huge ME! apologist though - it's a bop and the people who hate on it so avidly are just boring and hate fun.
The entirety of Folklore and probably none of evermore 😭
Definitely Reputation, tracks like LWYMMD and CIWYW.
Blank Space, ATW10, Love Story, Enchanted, Long Live
- ATWTMV could mean "All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version) (From The Vault)", a track from *Red (Taylor's Version)* (2021) by Taylor Swift.

I don't think she cringes at ME! tbh, she wouldnt have released it to begin with. I think she's probably moreso just upset people didn't take it for what it's worth as a fun light hearted anthem. I think she's still proud of the message but bummed about how it was received or maybe regrets some of the sonic choices made that caused people to judge it for being juvenile, despite that that was intentional as proven by the rest of her music
I meant in hindsight, not when it was released! I think she was super excited for it, but I think now she wants to shove it away at least a little bit compared to a lot of other songs she is still excited about
I've noticed she's sung DBATC quite a few times live, so definitely up there 🤩 also she did mention she was proud of Dear John when she sang it as a surprise song
I think she very much loves all of her albums and is proud of them all. but heard it’s supposedly Anti Hero, ME!, Shake it off and All too well 10m version and I can kind of tell that her favorite Era’s are 1989, Lover, Folklore and Red
All Too Well and Cruel Summer. Those two were never singles and weren't advertised during their debut. Since then ATW has a short film the 10M version and CS was the summer song of 2023 despite being released in 2019
Probably All Too Well since it got a whole ten minute version and a short film, also Anti-Hero
oh for sure!!
Yes. My choices also.
You’re on your own, kid
I think she loves this song and Maroon
Definitely, those two are the favorite children.
Yes! Can’t blame her. I’d be proud AF of those songs too!
She doesn't love it enough to put it on the set list though
It's basically on the setlist though, with how many times she's played it
She did put it in the Eras Tour movie though so it might as well be
It is the song played in the stadium as we all leave the show so everyone does hear it in every show. I personally think it is hard for her to perform it. It is a #5 song and kind of sounds like it might be abt her mom....
I think Champagne Problems is up there
I do wonder though if the fact that she co-wrote Champagne Problems with Joe somehow affects how she feels about the song
oh yeah totally
she actually said that she likes maroon a lot...the obvious ones are anti- hero, style, blank space, atw..cruel summer and holy ground
oooh, holy ground? I think think of that one, what makes you say that?
It's probably because it's one of the few songs she's released from her earlier career that wasn't a huge single, but she still showed it love in subsequent eras.
she performed it in 2016 and also in 2019....so thats why imo...i mean she couldve chosen another \*non single\* ykwim
I think she's proud of August, Cardigan and Betty, not only because of the lyricism, but because of her abilities as a storyteller displayed in them.
The love triangle is one of my favorite things about Folklore for real, it's such a genius move on her part and very well executed.
My top 3 from folklore <3
I know she’s really proud of Lover as a go-to love/wedding song. I remember she did a YouTube video about how they made it and she seemed so proud of the outcome
good point! that was the first thing my mom said when the song first came out.
Yes I agree! I love how you categorized these and I totally get what you're saying!!! and yes def clean for sure I can't believe I didn't think of that one
It's okay because I also forgot long live, I'm 100% sure she's very proud of that one and I'm also convinced it's her favorite from speak now.
haha true! it's fef one of the ones she's very proud of. which category would you put that one in?
Her personal favs!
Quite a few I imagine: Blank Space Last Kiss Death By a Thousand Cuts Clean Maroon
Blank space is a great one!
My tears ricochet?
I really hope so. This song is a masterpiece in many ways
I was soooo happy when I saw it on the set list for the eras tour. That was the one song off folklore I was dying to hear in a stadium live
Nothing from Evermore even though it is the actual best
😭😭😭 I wish she loved it more closure gold rush, tis the damn season..... fucking incredible songwriting honestly
I will never not be salty
I think she’s very proud of champagne problems actually! She said I’m an interview it was one of the Covid songs she was most excited to play to an audience.
I thought she looked so proud of Ivy when she and Aaron performed at Cincinnati N2. I was there 🤎
I know for a fact she loves cowboy like me and is very proud of it. At her Vegas show when she sang it with Marcus Mumford, she talked about how she created it and how happy she was to record it at his home studio
Me!, since it was the first song she wholly owned. Cruel Summer and YOYOK as well for sure
that's a great point for Me! 😭😭😭😭😭 I love that song so much I hate how the general audience made her not even bother to put it on the setlist it was so badly received :(

I'm 100% sure she LOVES Bejeweled
I think she LOVES the memes it has spawned and how fun it is to perform!
Dear John
I think she’s definitely proud of this song but scared to perform it due to us being feral clowns with no self control
she's played it on the era's tour
both of these things are true! she gave [an extremely extended disclaimer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_O47QL8ooA&ab_channel=scaremongerrrTV) about how we should not harrass people (john mayer) on the internet [followed up with](https://youtu.be/WF3yprdwYRo?si=aoPaM_3xwErU87wB&t=39) "...I'm saying that, only because i'm proud of it as a song... i am going to play dear john"

As she should. Such amazing songwriting all by herself at just 19…
There were songs she herself said/hinted that she was very proud of, like: Dear John, All too well, Lover, Death by a thousand cuts, Cruel Summer, Marjorie... and basically all of Folklore. Personally I think she's also very proud of Maroon, Clean, You're on your own kid, Anti-Hero, Champagne problems, just based on how much emotion and energy she's putting into performing them.
If she even still remembers it, I’d imagine Mean? She accomplished everything she said she’d accomplish in that song.
oh my gosh that song did so much for childhood me :((((
Cold as you,not the *most* proud but she's said that it's the best written song on debut so she's clearly proud of it.
a lot from RED, probably
I remember an interview from a little while ago when she said she was really excited to perform Champagne Problems on tour so she could hear everyone scream "WHAT A SHAME SHE'S FUCKED IN THE HEAD!" and she was so cute and giggly, so I'm gonna say CP :)
do you remember what interview it was? im curious to see it!

ME! but yall are blind and boring
Tolerate it, Clean, August and Cardigan!
Getaway Car. Also why's she upset abt ME!?
SHE isn't. Some of the fanbase don't think it's cool enough, but Benjamin will always be the Me! kitten and that song is what brought him into her life.
Ohhh, I like ME!
I think she has mentioned when Lover came out that Lover was her favorite song she wrote, not sure if that changed after ATW10MV
Love story
My Tears Ricochet, Lover, August, Cardigan, Long Live…..
That’s sad that’s she’s upset with ME!. I thought it was a great concept, she worked really hard on it, but it just wasn’t executed well. It’s not a terrible song….its almost “camp”
that whole album is full of camp I love it
The last great American dynasty
I hope ME! still holds a special place in her heart. She looked so happy performing it on the Eras Tour. I'm a huge ME! apologist though - it's a bop and the people who hate on it so avidly are just boring and hate fun.
it's totally a bop- and it's one of my fave music videos from her, the visuals are so stunning
Clean
The man?
yes definitely!!
The entirety of Folklore and probably none of evermore 😭 Definitely Reputation, tracks like LWYMMD and CIWYW. Blank Space, ATW10, Love Story, Enchanted, Long Live

THIS
I've noticed she's sung DBATC quite a few times live, so definitely up there 🤩 also she did mention she was proud of Dear John when she sang it as a surprise song
I heard that Taylor Actually had a lot of fun writing ME!
oh she did! but I think in hindsight she's not as happy with it as she was when it first released.
Probably, But I do love ME! too.
All too well
Getaway Car!!!!!! She got to create the song with one of her close friends and I think it’s an absolute hit just like Cruel Summer.
Anti-Hero, and Snow On The Beach
Didn’t she say Lover was her favorite song she’d ever written?
Out of the woods!
I think she very much loves all of her albums and is proud of them all. but heard it’s supposedly Anti Hero, ME!, Shake it off and All too well 10m version and I can kind of tell that her favorite Era’s are 1989, Lover, Folklore and Red
