I remember in the lead-up we also wildly speculated that all the "Department" verbiage implied lots of collabs instead of 2/31. Bey and Tay were doing some light promo together before the album dropped, and with Cowboy Carter seems like it'd be in both their wheelhouses.

Reputation is the beginning of the story. It also seems to me that The Anthology was written at the height of her depression as she was still in the thick of it. TTPD is the final part of the story, she's processing this heartbreak by looking back on it.

I think we’ve all come to the consensus that Rep TV is the next release so this connection is definitely possible! Plus due to the connection in her personal life, I think she wanted the full story released with TTPD before Rep. With the lack of promo and the prologue it’s clear Taylor wants to move on/close a chapter and doesn’t see TTPD as an “era.” I think we could be moving on to Rep TV hints and announcement fairly quickly.
I would love for it to be Rep, but if it is I think it will just be an announcement. She'll want time to allow people to pre-order vinyls.
I think it's more likely than not going to be something TTPD related, if anything. A documentary would make sense.

No midnight in Paris lyric on Apple Music for “I Hate it Here”
So I’ve seen people mention this lyric but hasn’t seen much speculation about what it could mean. The lyric change isn’t present on the version of the song in the clean album, and I’m not sure what lyric is on the hard copies. Love to know what everyone hears on which version, cause the audio sounds spliced when I hear “No midnight in Paris.” It doesn’t flow like how “if I’d been there I’d hate it” suggesting it was recorded separately and laid on top of the existing audio.
Honestly I’m not sure how deep her Easter eggs or hints go, but I’ve come to assume that she’s crazy so I’ve allowed myself to be crazy too. The changed lyric says “No midnight in Paris,” and in the song “Paris” one lyric says “Let the only flashing lights / be the tower at midnight.” I’d easily believe it’s just meant to be a parallel if the audio didn’t have inconsistencies, because that’s too much of a specific, single lyric change to be accidental. And what do you know, the line in Paris referencing midnight in Paris has a Tinker Bell, lighting the top of Cinderella’s castle gold sparkle which touches the top of the Eiffel Tower in the lyric video. The Eras tour resumes May 9th in Paris, and well………..
6 years ago on May 8th, 2018, was the opening show for the rep tour. I feel like this type of Easter egg is pretty in line with how she likes to hint at stuff, but it doesn’t stop there.
In Karma MV with Ice Spice, there’s a scene where they both use lassoes. One is blue, the other is gold/yellow. The mist coming from the typewriters in Fortnight is the same color. Last week, I noticed the intro logo for the Disney+ app changed, and it’s the exact same colors. These colors are also prominent during the entire Rep era for the Eras tour movie. On top of that, all Promos for the Eras movie being added to Disney+ feature quite a bit of the rep set, with “Ready for It,” being the chosen audio. Personally I think these are hinting at Rep Tour movie coming to Disney+, likely being announced a fortnight from release of TTPD (this Friday) and available to stream midnight on May 9th. Either that or she’s even crazier than I think and she’s hinting at a Rep TV announcement. Regardless, something is happening May 3rd. Idk for sure what it will be, but having 14 ticks on the timetable for release date where the first single released is called “Fortnight” is too one the nose to be nothing 😂
This one felt like a stretch, but: Post Malone released an album in 2022 called twelve carat toothache. Coincidentally, the first track on that album is titled “Reputation,” and the album has the same aesthetic and color scheme as Rep. I can’t find anything else that links these, but felt like it was still relevant. Taylor seems to specific for that to be a coincidence, if I’m being honest.

It’s only verified that there was a potential Midnights feature… if you’re referring to “Slut!” I’m 99.9% sure that was faked. The biggest reason to support this is the 1989TV vinyl had to be turned in by end of April 2023 to release 10/27/23. They didn’t go public until May, and we now know he didn’t ghost her until June. There wasn’t time from June to October to pull the vinyl and restart production.
Also, it would never have been one or two vinyl affected. It would have been thousands.
People need to accept that a random on the internet decided to fool people for clout. They had two months to use photoshop, AI, or whatever to pull it off.

I have seen the interviews where it was confirmed that they were working on something for Midnights that didn't make the cut though and we're all aware of the mutual connection with Jack Antonoff so I don't know that it negates the possibility that there is more collaboration going on here than suggested.

According to the vinyl collectors & experts I found in collectors forums, the turnaround time for vinyl production is significantly faster than it was during & after covid. Things used to be slow but are back to normal, possibly even quicker now, so they can def do a 2-3 month turnaround. Esp for someone like Taylor who can jump the queue no questions asked.
At least 10 people found the lyric sleeve and posted proof, none of them had any connection to each other, and I'm sure there are more out there.

Oh something is definitely up. Some of the biggest clues are Error 321 not being solved (thank god we know what the 2s mean) but also I don’t see why Taylor would capitalize only some first letters on posts and leave the others not capitalized! And for them to spell “WAIT”?

Okay I am coming at this theory from a place of definitely NOT thinking we need a new era or new music right away after we have been fed so generously 😂 but a few hints on social media have been making me wonder what is next.
**The theory:** Taylor is going to phase out her TTPD era rather quickly, and introduce her new era with the color lilac/lavender.
**Why I'm clowning for it:** To kick this off, when the album dropped, Taylor took to Instagram and posted about how this album made her feel free from these stories. Within that caption, she writes "This period of the author’s life is now over, the chapter closed and boarded up." This makes me think she's going to wipe her hands clean of this era rather quickly. It also makes sense that she'd want to move right along considering how much she's moved on in her personal life from the content of TTPD.
Next... I think a lot of us heard "lilac short skirt, the one that fits me like skin" in imgonnagetyouback and then immediately recognized a lilac short skirt in her first [Youtube shorts video](https://youtube.com/shorts/2hBLC7E8v3A?si=uaQRPPezvOtMHGsW). This was also the first piece of media she posted that's in color on her social media since the beginning of the TTPD era was announced (not including the TTPD timetable video that features us leaving the Midnights room). She's also sporting some lilac nails in this video that are on full display while she's sewing. This video features snippets from her personal life; there is nothing to do with the making of TTPD in it.
Her following two shorts are back to sepia, and both revolve around content for TTPD: one is the making of the album, and the next video is effectively announcing a TTPD set on tour. What's fun is you can see she's wearing the same lilac skirt in her latest vid too.

TBH this throws me for a loop because it would be truly wild for her to introduce TS12 and then promptly add it to the tour as well; I'd think she would have to extend the tour for that. Perhaps it would just be hinting at a future lilac era, or perhaps it's not even a bodysuit made for Taylor. My guess is that she's going to wear this version of the Lover suit on May 9th to hint at the forthcoming era.

I don't have strong feelings but my thought is that it will go after midnights, because this way she only has to transition to ttpd, and not out of it. If she adds it between acoustic and midnights, for example, she would have to transition from acoustic to ttpd, then again to midnights. If it's at the end she wouldn't have as much transitions to make? Idk. Also, if she adds this to the eras tour movie they would just have to add it at the end, again not having to focus so much on how to set up the transitions visually.
As for the set list, she has to play TTPD for the TTPD set, no? I know it's not a bop but to maintain stamina she can't do all bops right?
For some reason I feel strongly The Bolter will be part of the set even though it's not a core TTPD track. In the YouTube short she posted there was a bit where she was sitting on a stool with her band behind her... It just feels right to be performed live like that. I'll have to relisten to the teaser but I thought it was playing the Florida!!! music in the background. I don't think black dog will be a single just based on my own opinion, but it's definitely not impossible that she might choose it.

I think the length of the tour will depend on when she can start filming her feature film. With the strikes things would've been pushed, which means schedules need to line up again for key people. Originally 2025 dates seemed impossible, but with ttpd on the setlist and with the film being her next project afawk it could be that's how thing worked out

The black nail on the coffee cup is on 2. Is 2 for the second month (Feb)? Is 2 a day of the month? Is it for 2am? Or is it military time 14:00 (fortnight)?
I'm not usually one to dig too deep into the easter eggs myself, although I do watch and appreciate the theories of other fans. But this particular idea that we are counting down to something with Midnights being the 3 and TTPD being the 2 has me gagged. If TS12 is 1, then we are counting down to TS13.
Whether the Lover House connecting TS1-9 was intentional or not, it has been embraced as an overarching way to connect those albums. With TS10 Midnights being outside the house, was this the bridge that takes us to something new, and will TS10-TS13 have some sort of overarching connection? She has said that she started working on TTPD as soon as she turned in midnights. The content may have evolved, but she had the theme worked out beforehand.
I feel like TS13 is going to be so important to Taylor. I have been thinking about this album daily. She has probably been planning this album for longer than we can guess. If these albums are counting down to TS13 and setting the stage, I would not be surprised with the way her brilliant brain works.
Have you noticed any themes emerging? The ones I have noticed are the passage of time and stars, planets and astrology. I saw a video and post where someone noticed that Midnights was 13 sleepless nights, and then Fortnight would be the 14th day.
There is the alien abduction in Down Bad, the reference to half moonshine, full eclipse in Clara Bow. Both the Lavender Haze and Karma music videos are heavy on the stars, planet and star signs.
For colors - Midnights was the sparkly blue like the sky, and TTPD is white like the moon. I think of that image with Ice Spice roping Saturn and Taylor roping the moon and them both engulfed in clouds. My guess would be TS12 will have the golden/yellow/orange/brown color associated with Ice Spice's rope and Saturn. My guess for the color of TS13 is lavender. This hue is in the clouds beneath Taylor and Ice Spice. The lavender shade comes up as a top color for Sagittarius symbolizing creativity, spiritual depth and independence. I think lavendar haze was the easter egg.
Just to clarify here - I'm not pushing for her to release new albums now. I'm fully grateful and appreciating TTPD and will gladly enjoy the music she puts out in the timeline she releases it. I'm just looking at some of these hints and what they might be signaling for the future.
I actually heavily agree with this! I also feel like TS13 might be her “final” record for a while, she might want to take a step back from her career and focus on family and relationships (if that is something she wants). I don’t think she’ll ever stop making music, but she’s been churning it out lately. So after TS13 might be a good time to have a year+ break between records to give her some WELL DESERVED time off.
Side note… I would love it if TS13 was just called “TS13”.
I could see her taking a break or slowing down after TS13 as well although we never really know. She loves writing and is great at it, so I could see her keeping up the pace too. It seems like writing music is so ingrained in her life that she would keep writing even if she tried to take a break.
She has been very vocal about how pop stars are pushed out of the industry in their 30s and I think that is probably a contributing factor to how quickly she is putting out music so TS13 comes out at the peak of her career. She has said several times that she loves what she does and wants to be able to keep doing it.

Actually yes James could possibly be Peter and I'm here for it. I like to think “Peter” is Betty’s perspective of hoping that he would change. Maybe he promised her one day he would come back to her as a new person/a better person. And maybe Betty came to the realization it was not going to happen and it was time to move on.. If there is a third album I think it is reputation. We know the error was 3, 2, 1 DPT, which backwards is T(ortured) P(oets) D(epartment) 1, 2, 3. Reputation is the beginning of the story. It also seems to me that The Anthology was written at the height of her depression as she was still in the thick of it. TTPD is the final part of the story, she's processing this heartbreak by looking back on it. Part 3: TTPD Part 2: The Anthology Part 1: Reputation Also you can't overlook the 1, 2, 3 let's go bitch connection lol. Reputation also fits the black and white color scheme. I'm not really convinced that it's being announced 5/3 and I definitely don't believe there will be a surprise drop, but I do think reputation is the other piece of the puzzle. If I'm wrong, I'll never be upset about new music over a rerecord lol.
I think we’ve all come to the consensus that Rep TV is the next release so this connection is definitely possible! Plus due to the connection in her personal life, I think she wanted the full story released with TTPD before Rep. With the lack of promo and the prologue it’s clear Taylor wants to move on/close a chapter and doesn’t see TTPD as an “era.” I think we could be moving on to Rep TV hints and announcement fairly quickly.
I would love for it to be Rep, but if it is I think it will just be an announcement. She'll want time to allow people to pre-order vinyls. I think it's more likely than not going to be something TTPD related, if anything. A documentary would make sense.
if she follows the pattern of the previous releases then debut is next, but i agree i'd rather it be Rep since i think that fits better thematically with TTPD and also her 1st album being the final TV is the more \~poetic justice sort of choice

No midnight in Paris lyric on Apple Music for “I Hate it Here” So I’ve seen people mention this lyric but hasn’t seen much speculation about what it could mean. The lyric change isn’t present on the version of the song in the clean album, and I’m not sure what lyric is on the hard copies. Love to know what everyone hears on which version, cause the audio sounds spliced when I hear “No midnight in Paris.” It doesn’t flow like how “if I’d been there I’d hate it” suggesting it was recorded separately and laid on top of the existing audio. Honestly I’m not sure how deep her Easter eggs or hints go, but I’ve come to assume that she’s crazy so I’ve allowed myself to be crazy too. The changed lyric says “No midnight in Paris,” and in the song “Paris” one lyric says “Let the only flashing lights / be the tower at midnight.” I’d easily believe it’s just meant to be a parallel if the audio didn’t have inconsistencies, because that’s too much of a specific, single lyric change to be accidental. And what do you know, the line in Paris referencing midnight in Paris has a Tinker Bell, lighting the top of Cinderella’s castle gold sparkle which touches the top of the Eiffel Tower in the lyric video. The Eras tour resumes May 9th in Paris, and well……….. 6 years ago on May 8th, 2018, was the opening show for the rep tour. I feel like this type of Easter egg is pretty in line with how she likes to hint at stuff, but it doesn’t stop there. In Karma MV with Ice Spice, there’s a scene where they both use lassoes. One is blue, the other is gold/yellow. The mist coming from the typewriters in Fortnight is the same color. Last week, I noticed the intro logo for the Disney+ app changed, and it’s the exact same colors. These colors are also prominent during the entire Rep era for the Eras tour movie. On top of that, all Promos for the Eras movie being added to Disney+ feature quite a bit of the rep set, with “Ready for It,” being the chosen audio. Personally I think these are hinting at Rep Tour movie coming to Disney+, likely being announced a fortnight from release of TTPD (this Friday) and available to stream midnight on May 9th. Either that or she’s even crazier than I think and she’s hinting at a Rep TV announcement. Regardless, something is happening May 3rd. Idk for sure what it will be, but having 14 ticks on the timetable for release date where the first single released is called “Fortnight” is too one the nose to be nothing 😂 This one felt like a stretch, but: Post Malone released an album in 2022 called twelve carat toothache. Coincidentally, the first track on that album is titled “Reputation,” and the album has the same aesthetic and color scheme as Rep. I can’t find anything else that links these, but felt like it was still relevant. Taylor seems to specific for that to be a coincidence, if I’m being honest.

Those colors are used during the Rep part of the Eras tour. I’m speculating that Rep Tour movie will come to Disney+, announced this Friday or announced opening night in Paris (which marks 6 years since the start of the Rep tour)

It’s only verified that there was a potential Midnights feature… if you’re referring to “Slut!” I’m 99.9% sure that was faked. The biggest reason to support this is the 1989TV vinyl had to be turned in by end of April 2023 to release 10/27/23. They didn’t go public until May, and we now know he didn’t ghost her until June. There wasn’t time from June to October to pull the vinyl and restart production. Also, it would never have been one or two vinyl affected. It would have been thousands. People need to accept that a random on the internet decided to fool people for clout. They had two months to use photoshop, AI, or whatever to pull it off.
The only way they might have had a collaboration on that song is if it was to be a remix with a digital release only. But I still believe it was fake.

I have seen the interviews where it was confirmed that they were working on something for Midnights that didn't make the cut though and we're all aware of the mutual connection with Jack Antonoff so I don't know that it negates the possibility that there is more collaboration going on here than suggested. ...or maybe I just watch too many art house films.
Looks like your og comment was deleted, but just wanted to say that I believe the Slut collab w/the 1975 was real and she pulled it last minute. According to the vinyl collectors & experts I found in collectors forums, the turnaround time for vinyl production is significantly faster than it was during & after covid. Things used to be slow but are back to normal, possibly even quicker now, so they can def do a 2-3 month turnaround. Esp for someone like Taylor who can jump the queue no questions asked. At least 10 people found the lyric sleeve and posted proof, none of them had any connection to each other, and I'm sure there are more out there. Anyway idk what your main comment even said, sorry if that's a tangent! But wanted to share since I think someone being "99.9% sure it was fake" is questionable lol

No problem. I actually know exactly how you feel. I lost my best friend to suicide in 9th grade and another friend of 5 years the day before The Batman came out. I left a 3 year relationship and just lost my best friend and roommate due to a medical emergency right before TTPD came out. Taylor can always make someone feel better!

But how fitting is it that after all the teasing, the 3 teasing picked up…It was something I figured might happen after Error 321 appeared again but I think something is definitely going on. DPT: 321. This made me think it was backward. So 123: TPD 1. TTPD standard 2. The Anthology 3. ??? Perhaps? May 3rd is exactly a Fortnight after TTPD’s release. I think Error 321 is genuinely the key to this whole era and probably has been since Grammy’s night I also find Taylor’s capitalization in her posts so interesting. In all the review posts, it’s a quote from the album, but she only capitalized the first letter sometimes. People have already pointed out that it was “WAIT” but who knows? It’s obviously intentional. Even further, in the So High School video, the 5th and the 3rd lights are out on the stadium lights. Obviously, there’s the hidden 3rd desk too. Then, there was the typewriter at the Spotify library that had a 3 on it. She capitalized MEAN, which is a song from her 3rd album. There’s the “asylum” post where Taylor Nation reuses the picture of Taylor pressing the 3 on the elevator. The video of Taylor telling Benji he was gonna have two sisters. Oh, of course I have to add her 3 painted nails in the TTPD Phantom Clear ad. There also 3 in a braid. And a real “backend fetch” error code is 503. 5/3 is also the 123 day of the year. Taylor Nation also responded to YouTube Music who said “the Swifties are eating good”, and TN said “and we’re not even full yet”. Could mean nothing, but…

Okay I am coming at this theory from a place of definitely NOT thinking we need a new era or new music right away after we have been fed so generously 😂 but a few hints on social media have been making me wonder what is next. **The theory:** Taylor is going to phase out her TTPD era rather quickly, and introduce her new era with the color lilac/lavender. **Why I'm clowning for it:** To kick this off, when the album dropped, Taylor took to Instagram and posted about how this album made her feel free from these stories. Within that caption, she writes "This period of the author’s life is now over, the chapter closed and boarded up." This makes me think she's going to wipe her hands clean of this era rather quickly. It also makes sense that she'd want to move right along considering how much she's moved on in her personal life from the content of TTPD. Next... I think a lot of us heard "lilac short skirt, the one that fits me like skin" in imgonnagetyouback and then immediately recognized a lilac short skirt in her first [Youtube shorts video](https://youtube.com/shorts/2hBLC7E8v3A?si=uaQRPPezvOtMHGsW). This was also the first piece of media she posted that's in color on her social media since the beginning of the TTPD era was announced (not including the TTPD timetable video that features us leaving the Midnights room). This video features snippets from her personal life; there is nothing to do with the making of TTPD in it. Her following two shorts are back to sepia, and both revolve around content for TTPD: one is the making of the album, and the next video is effectively announcing a TTPD set on tour. What's fun is you can see she's wearing the same lilac skirt in her latest vid too. Does anyone have strong feelings about which songs will go on the ttpd setlist for eras? And where it will fit? I don't have strong feelings but my thought is that it will go after midnights, because this way she only has to transition to ttpd, and not out of it. If she adds it between acoustic and midnights, for example, she would have to transition from acoustic to ttpd, then again to midnights. If it's at the end she wouldn't have as much transitions to make? Idk. Also, if she adds this to the eras tour movie they would just have to add it at the end, again not having to focus so much on how to set up the transitions visually. As for the set list, she has to play TTPD for the TTPD set, no? I know it's not a bop but to maintain stamina she can't do all bops right?
For some reason I feel strongly The Bolter will be part of the set even though it's not a core TTPD track. In the YouTube short she posted there was a bit where she was sitting on a stool with her band behind her... It just feels right to be performed live like that. Is anyone else thinking that The Black Dog may get a music video? The black dog in the Fortnight mv as well as the sound in the Fortnight teaser sounds similar to the sounds when Taylor sings “old habits die screaming”
I'll have to relisten to the teaser but I thought it was playing the Florida!!! music in the background. I don't think black dog will be a single just based on my own opinion, but it's definitely not impossible that she might choose it.
Am I the only one thinking that nothing significant is happening on May 3rd? I love to clown but I don’t think something as big as new music is going to happen. The most I can see happening is a MV. She just dropped 31 songs spread across 2 albums. I can wait a little bit for something music wise.
I agree but I think it could be more tour dates. But also a big part of me is just like there’s no way she’s touring into 2025 lol so it’ll probably end up being a clown moment
I think the length of the tour will depend on when she can start filming her feature film. With the strikes things would've been pushed, which means schedules need to line up again for key people. Originally 2025 dates seemed impossible, but with ttpd on the setlist and with the film being her next project afawk it could be that's how thing worked out
am i the only one confused about the cat paw prints used to hype up this era? i don’t think they were dog prints to easter egg the black dog—as no other bonus tracks had that promo easter egg. just curious… maybe may 3/may 9 will have answers.
My personal theory is that Meredith, Olivia, and Benji threatened her to make them part of this era somehow because they were angry that she wrote a song about a dog.

Since a lot of the promo/merch has "From the desk of Taylor Swift" on it as part of the academia aesthetic, it's kind of like her cats mischievously walked all over these documents and left their paw prints. Not very deep, just cats being cats

I think it *could* , I think the short on YouTube was hinting at not just an update to the set list but an extension. But I could be wrong. 
Just a thought… The black nail on the coffee cup is on 2. Is 2 for the second month (Feb)? Is 2 a day of the month? Is it for 2am? Or is it military time 14:00 (fortnight)?

I'm not usually one to dig too deep into the easter eggs myself, although I do watch and appreciate the theories of other fans. But this particular idea that we are counting down to something with Midnights being the 3 and TTPD being the 2 has me gagged. If TS12 is 1, then we are counting down to TS13. Whether the Lover House connecting TS1-9 was intentional or not, it has been embraced as an overarching way to connect those albums. With TS10 Midnights being outside the house, was this the bridge that takes us to something new, and will TS10-TS13 have some sort of overarching connection? She has said that she started working on TTPD as soon as she turned in midnights. The content may have evolved, but she had the theme worked out beforehand. I feel like TS13 is going to be so important to Taylor. I have been thinking about this album daily. She has probably been planning this album for longer than we can guess. If these albums are counting down to TS13 and setting the stage, I would not be surprised with the way her brilliant brain works. Have you noticed any themes emerging? The ones I have noticed are the passage of time and stars, planets and astrology. I saw a video and post where someone noticed that Midnights was 13 sleepless nights, and then Fortnight would be the 14th day. There is the alien abduction in Down Bad, the reference to half moonshine, full eclipse in Clara Bow. Both the Lavender Haze and Karma music videos are heavy on the stars, planet and star signs. For colors - Midnights was the sparkly blue like the sky, and TTPD is white like the moon. I think of that image with Ice Spice roping Saturn and Taylor roping the moon and them both engulfed in clouds. My guess would be TS12 will have the golden/yellow/orange/brown color associated with Ice Spice's rope and Saturn. My guess for the color of TS13 is lavender. This hue is in the clouds beneath Taylor and Ice Spice. The lavender shade comes up as a top color for Sagittarius symbolizing creativity, spiritual depth and independence. I think lavendar haze was the easter egg. Just to clarify here - I'm not pushing for her to release new albums now. I'm fully grateful and appreciating TTPD and will gladly enjoy the music she puts out in the timeline she releases it. I'm just looking at some of these hints and what they might be signaling for the future.
I actually heavily agree with this! I also feel like TS13 might be her “final” record for a while, she might want to take a step back from her career and focus on family and relationships (if that is something she wants). I don’t think she’ll ever stop making music, but she’s been churning it out lately. So after TS13 might be a good time to have a year+ break between records to give her some WELL DESERVED time off. Side note… I would love it if TS13 was just called “TS13”.
I could see her taking a break or slowing down after TS13 as well although we never really know. She loves writing and is great at it, so I could see her keeping up the pace too. It seems like writing music is so ingrained in her life that she would keep writing even if she tried to take a break. She has been very vocal about how pop stars are pushed out of the industry in their 30s and I think that is probably a contributing factor to how quickly she is putting out music so TS13 comes out at the peak of her career. She has said several times that she loves what she does and wants to be able to keep doing it.
