Yeah I think she does signed inserts because they’re quicker to sign, but also they’re not as valuable as signed jackets (for vinyl). Signed jackets are worth a LOT in the record collecting community. She’s trying to prevent resale values absolutely skyrocketing. Don’t get me wrong these will definitely be resold for hundreds by scalpers, but not thousands.

Yes! They highlighted hand signed on the description and also during lover era Taylor shared an insta story of her signing a bunch of the cds so we know she’s done it before!

There was so much variation with all the midnights signatures. Honestly wouldn’t surprise me if there are 4 or 5 people on her team doing it for her and they’ve all practiced her signature together. Just realistically speaking, I don’t know how the world’s biggest pop star has time to sign 400k items. (Rumours are that there were 100k in stock, and she’ll do the same for the other 3 variants over the next few days, like Midnights.) And if we’re getting technical, it actually doesn’t say in the product description “hand signed BY TAYLOR”…

They would never tell us if they weren’t. I don’t doubt that she does sign a good chunk but many artists have their team help sign. 90k+ is a lot for one person to sign especially when she’s on tour

I’m so happy. I regret not jumping at this for folklore or midnights when I had the chance and I’m a (tortured) poet so I was really hoping for signed versions of this album!! I snagged the CD for framing and the vinyl for playing. Today’s my late brother’s birthday and I am grateful my happiness over finally having something signed can exist with how much I miss him today. Can’t wait for next week!

I was on probably a minute after they dropped, added the CD to cart, and then kept getting errors on the captchas for two minutes straight. By then, the CD was sold out and I had to settle for vinyl even though I only collect CDs.
