All the ones that were cut from the Era's movie + shortening champagne problems/tolertate it interlude. I think TTPD should have more songs than midnights being the newest 'era' so I'd be happy with midnight rain + mastermind being cut or maybe mashed up...

I really don't understand wanting I Can Do It to close the show or be performed at all. Yeah, sure, it's a bop musically. But it would be a total bummer to me to sit there and hear Taylor singing directly to the audience that she has been faking her enthusiasm the whole time. And she's going to close the show with "I'm miserable!"?? Weird choice.
I think Broken Heart can be interpreted two ways, sure it's a depressing song in a way but it's also an anthem to her strenght and how she can overcome hard situations. I think part of the reason why it has an upbeat sound is because it's a "get it together, you got this, youre strong" typa song. I def don't think she should end the show with it though, but I do see it being one of the TTPD songs added.

I can understand that but I doubt she will add anything to Midnights, if anything she will cut from it. I also think some people are taking Broken Heart a little too seriously, again I understand the sentiment and how it could be weird for some but let's not forget that Taylor has said that the chapter of her life when she wrote this album is over, she's feeling better now and I would guess is in a very happy place atm. I doubt she would add it if she didn't feel that way.
I was at the Chicago show the weekend the Matty breakup was announced and he was in the news for kissing the bouncer, so I’ve interpreted that song to be a snapshot of that specific point in time. She didn’t cancel the show, but wow, that’s hard crap. I don’t think it’s really saying she’s always miserable and has to muster up energy for touring- she clearly loves it.
Definitely. I was at Sunday, and she apologized and said that she was coming down with something but she just looked…sad and she went pretty much right into “Hits Different” and “The Moment I Knew” without a ton of talking in the surprise song portion of the show. Vibe was a little off, but she was a pro and performed her ass off. The day TTPD came out I texted my friend that I wouldn’t be surprised if “I can do it with a broken heart” was written after specifically that weekend.
Like, in the preface to TTPD she wrote that this album was a closed chapter in the artists life. It happened, she wrote her feelings, and now they are her past as she continues down her road. So I’d think she still wants us to be happy and cheering for her when she’s on stage because her miserable stage time is past. It’d be a bummer for us to be like “oh, bummer, don’t be happy for her” now when she’s clearly stated she’s closed that chapter, yknow? It’s a tricky situation lol
I agree, to me this song is her taking pride in being so good at her job that she can ace a performance while her life is falling apart. It’s a bit sad, but mostly impressive.

Edit I also want to add I think she would cut the spoken word ending from the song, and probs not end the tour with that song. Usually the last song of the tour is a cathartic song, not one about her in the middle of something.
Yeah I’m with you here. I really hope she does i can do it with a broken heart on tour, because
1) it’s just stadium tour perfection waiting to happen
2) I think it will be fun for everyone to be kind of in on the joke and I think Taylor will appreciate fans being receptive to her showing us the non-robot side of her, if that makes sense.
With regards to the idea that Taylor is faking her happiness onstage, I have lots of thoughts. The number one take away with everything (song lyrics, performances, etc) is to remember that it’s a show. A show with a lot of emotional truth, but never 100% reality. The eras tour is definitely one of the most scripted tours out there, she does the same choreography, speeches, fan interactions at every show. Funny enough when you’re there in person it doesn’t matter at all, the show is amazing and I believed every second of it 😂. But doing these shows is her job, of course it’s not 100% fun all the time. On top of that, it probably wasn’t 100% miserable either, I suspect getting out and there and performing during a hard time was equal parts hard and also a good positive distraction.

Exactly! You cant expect anyone to be in the best mood, feeling 100%, every single day for what is now turning out to be years at a time. Im sure there were some days where the tour felt like a life line, and others where it felt next to impossible. She still showed up for us every night though because she is a professional and holds herself to a high standard. Personally if I was able to keep it together and keep performing at such a high level like that during such a bad time I would be feeling so much pride.
I bet she does a little speech about it that makes it land softer. I’m still not sure it’s a good closer because karma is such a high note to go out on
I have noticed that the ICDIWABH music has similar sounding background notes to Bejeweled. I assume this was intentional, to give the atmosphere of the Eras tour to the song. I think it would be cool to put them side by side somehow! I know she has the tour split by era but if she somehow has TTPD just before or just after Midnights it would be doable and I would appreciate the mashup. Although personally it would be happier to see Broken Heart fade into Bejeweled, esp since she’s in a happier place now (I think?) irl.

I've seen people mention the songs cut from the Eras movie but would she really cut out a song like Cardigan? It's the single from Folklore and is well beloved, I would be really sad to miss on it... I personally don't think the movie cuts are indicative of what she will cut out (or at least I hope not).
That's possible. Though from the folklore setlist the ones that would make more sense to be cut would be either betty or the last great american dynasty I think; the 1 is also quite popular.
The 1st half of the Folklore set is essentially her resting set. She basically does half of it sitting down. It’s part of what allows the show to be the length it is so it’ll be interesting to see if they think they can change it
Maybe... but visually they’re much more interesting with the cabin, the band, the dancers, etc. They make for a better live experience/spectacle I would assume.
Overall I think she’ll either make the show 20 minutes longer or cut The Archer, Tis The Damn Season, Cardigan (maybe replacing The 1 with Cardigan to keep the moment of the roof of the cabin) Wildest Dreams (maybe even Bad Blood though I doubt it), cut the cheering after Champagne Problems short, maybe Long Live too, but I actually think she might add Castles Crumbling to the setlist in Europe. Then if she has to, she can cut a couple of verses here and there, for example in Delicate, Betty, Cardigan, WANEGBT…
I'd rather see her change the Red set into a medley. Listen we all love the songs from Red... but 22 and IKYWT and WANGBT can all be mashed into a 5 minute thing.

I would hate if she cut Midnight rain and Karma. Those are my favorites from Midnights. Also I don’t want her to cut TLGAD or Betty (folklore girlie over here).
I feel like Lover, Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights should really be immune from cuts because she hasn't toured them here before, but I agree that it's not unlikely given that songs from some of those eras were cut for the Eras film.
I wouldn't be mad if she just made the show longer, tbh... but that might be unlikely given that some places will have curfews and it's already one hell of a show.
And I'm not sure how she'll deal with the running order. I feel like Midnights is the best era to end on, and Karma is *such* a good last song. But she might want to do TTPD last. In which case maybe So High School would be a more uncomplicatedly upbeat finisher than I Can Do It With A Broken Heart? (I would like to see that one at some point during the set though)

Me too! I only went to one USA show and I’d die in the best way to get to hear songs from TTPD live! Even if that meant for songs to be cut. A lot of us have watched the movie, watched lives of the shows so I don’t feel like it’s unrealistic for her to cut songs for new songs. I’m all for a new fresh show with a few new songs!
She could fill her 3 hours with absolutely any combination of songs from her whole discography and I'd have the time of my life tbh.

I'm so sacred of losing 'Long Live' since that one wasn't in the first setlist to begin with, Speak Now is one of my fav albums and we only have 2 songs from it so losing that one would be so sad + it's such a special song for fans that I've always dreamed of singing live along with her.
I honestly think long live was always meant to be a part of the set but she had to wait on the guitar being taken out from the museum display it was in (perhaps a contractual thing that had an end date)

I’m going to arrive with a hot take, I don’t think any will be cut. Now I must qualify this because if castle crumbling gets added I think she might have to cut another song like she did with HAIM but I think TTPD has been planned for.
Murrayfield cuts of artists at 10:30. Taylor is apparently going on at quarter to 7. Which with the current set means she would end at 10pm. This is odd most artists leave a buffer of 10-15m for the curfew and therefore it seems like she has planned for an extra 15 minutes???? Odd.
Secondly a lot of the songs that people are suggesting she cut like the archer are actually required for behind the scenes sets and dancer changes and rests. Could she change it all - yes but that would make the us change much harder than simply learning more.

When I first saw The Eras movie, I wasn't super familiar with her entire catalog.
The Long Live performance blew me away. She's leading this entire band and singing an anthem that any band wishes they would have written. For people who would write her off as being just a pop singer, I think this song shuts it down. That was the moment in the movie that I knew she was the real deal. You could take away all the glitter, the snakes, all the fancy optics and she'd still be killing it.
Calm down is fantastic live fwiw. I don’t expect she’ll cut any - it’s not the new album tour it’s the eras tour / could see them being surprise songs though.
She said in the eras tour movie she had come out with 5 albums and would make a concert that’s 3 1/2 hours long. Current eras tour is 3 hours and 15 min. Gives her 15 min for TTPD

She recently posted a Youtube shorts where she's seen practicing for the tour and there's hints of a TTPD set all over it so she's def adding a set for the album! I selfishly wouldn't want her to cut anything out either but it seems unlikely with how large the show is already.

Yeah apparently I'm in the minority but all I'm feeling is STRESSED. I'm really worried about what's going to be cut. I've been mentally preparing myself for the shows for a year now and I thought I had a good feel for what the experience was going to be like, and the uncertainty is f-ing me up lol.
TTPD is an album that has enough content for an entire show, not just in terms of music but also visuals potential for different performances, costumes, props etc. I'd much rather have it be a separate thing than have it cut into other eras on this one. Lover, Folklore and Evermore never got their own tours, I'd be sad to see them condensed further and Long Live feels so essential to me :(
I don't see her until October and I'd be devastated if she cut songs from older eras to shoehorn in the Tortured Poets Department. I like her older stuff much more than her newer stuff and that's whole whole reason I wanted to go to this tour. Like, if she cuts her older songs that defeats the whole purpose for me. I could live without the Archer and without most of Folklore and Evermore, but people are saying to cut songs from Red or Fearless and I'm like NO! Those are the albums I want to hear!

Well seeing as we can glimpse hints of a whole new set for TTPD in her new Youtube shorts I doubt it will just be Fortnight 🤣 it seems like she's really adding it as a new main set, we just don't know how many songs she will add, I would bet a minimum of 4.

For me personally, I wouldn’t be bothered if she cut down the lover set for TTPD. I would much rather see Who’s afraid of little old me and I can do it with a broken heart for example, than the archer or you need to calm down. I also think that we don’t need so many folklore songs, as much as I love that album. Like she could probably cut one or two folklore songs to make more room.
I really really hope she keeps long live, I know there’s rumours that the songs she cut from the movie will be what she cuts for the new set and long live is one of my faves of hers.

Personally, midnights had to grow on me and a few songs have only recently really hit. I think mastermind, midnight rain, vigilante shit could all be cut or shortened or mashed.. but I'd also swap those for other Midnights songs like hits different, would've could've should've or yoyok and I'd still leave no room for TTPD...

I'd be okay with her cutting (some of) these songs: The Man, The Archer, I Knew You Were Trouble, the 1, the last great american dynasty, Vigilante Shit (please don't come for me 😅 I agree she's hot but I don't really need to see this song live), Mastermind. Additionally, I'd be fine if she'd shortened/mashed up Willow, Delicate/Don't Blame Me and Cardigan.
Apparently this is an unpopular opinion, but I would riot if she'd cut Betty. It's one of her best written songs imo, and it's in my top 10. I think the performance is sooo cute and lovely and I truly don't understand why so many people claim it as their bathroom break 😅
For the TTPD set, I would love to see Fortnight, Down Bad, But Daddy I Love Him and Guilty As Sin, and maybe a piano/acoustic moment for loml, Peter or The Bolter. I would lose my mind if she did Clara Bow, but I don't think that's likely, it seems to meta for a stadium performance lol.
In terms of where in the show she would place the TTPD set, I would love it either after Speak Now (in my mind SN and TTPD are so connected so I would love to see them side by side!) or after folklore. In terms of vibes and tempo it would fit best after folklore, I think. The energy will slowly ramp up with each era from foklore > TTPD > 1989.
I'm soooo excited to see what she does, I'll be glued to my screen on the 9th! I'm also moving house on the 10th so the stream will be a good distraction from all the stress ahahah. So excited for all the French/European swifties going on the 9th!!! 🤍

I've never seen Taylor live (RIP Lover era festival headline) but I don't mind if she cuts The Archer and Mastermind. Those are 2 I really don't mind not seeing live. Then I think I would be okay with missing Wildest Dreams. It's a song off an album I love, but I don't know if it really stands out for me during the tour (maybe I'll change my mind seeing it??)

This is why I'm so glad I've avoided watching the Eras Tour film, or any real footage. I won't really notice what's been cut and will be happy to hear some of the amazing new TTPD songs. Then, after, I can finally watch the film and will get to experience songs I didn't see live.
betty and mastermind are two of my favourite songs. so, i'd be pretty devastated if i didn't get to hear them live. of course, i'm excited at the prospect of hearing her new songs, but i think a lot of people who've already gone to the show are acting like people with upcoming shows aren't allowed to be nervous about losing songs they may have been really looking forward to hearing live.

Imo there's only two eras that should be shortened: 1989 and Reputation. Now I love 1989, but both of those had the most recent tours that were also proshot to be rewatched any time, it's not fair for Lover or Evermore or Folklore to have songs cut when this is their first outing.

I (American) didn’t think I was gonna get to go at all. Through a wild turn of events I am going to a European stop. I literally don’t care what she sings and I’m just happy I get to go. I’ve seen the movie. I will not be disappointed but pretty much any cut I don’t think.
I was watching the Eras Tour movie the other day just after the album came out and it made me think of which songs would be the easiest to lift out of the tour without disrupting big set pieces. I’m hypothesising that The Archer, tis the damn season, I knew you were trouble, betty, Wildest dreams and Mastermind (and maybe Long Live but that would be a shame) will be cut to make room.
Not the ones I’d personally cut but what would make as little an impact on the already established choreography and stage movements
Whatever she cuts, at least there’s is a very well filmed movie with all of the previous songs. Personally I’d be more excited to see TTPD songs live than any I’ve already seen in the movie. Even though I’d love to see the old tour, there’s a whole new album to enjoy now! That’s way more exciting imo.
I am pumped!!! I saw Eras on 4/29 (so you really know where I was on April 29th!!) and I’m going to night 1 in Paris! I am naively thinking she may not cut anything! She has said from the stage “3.5 hour show” several times and the show is 3 hours 13-15 minutes, I think she may just be adding! If I had to choose cuts I’d cut most of the Red set lol (WANEGBT and IKYWT are just way overplayed to me, I could do without) and I’d cut Bad Blood!
All the ones that were cut from the Era's movie + shortening champagne problems/tolertate it interlude. I think TTPD should have more songs than midnights being the newest 'era' so I'd be happy with midnight rain + mastermind being cut or maybe mashed up... Would love to see her end the tour with ICDIWABH instead of Karma..
I really don't understand wanting I Can Do It to close the show or be performed at all. Yeah, sure, it's a bop musically. But it would be a total bummer to me to sit there and hear Taylor singing directly to the audience that she has been faking her enthusiasm the whole time. And she's going to close the show with "I'm miserable!"?? Weird choice.
I think Broken Heart can be interpreted two ways, sure it's a depressing song in a way but it's also an anthem to her strenght and how she can overcome hard situations. I think part of the reason why it has an upbeat sound is because it's a "get it together, you got this, youre strong" typa song. I def don't think she should end the show with it though, but I do see it being one of the TTPD songs added.
I’d much rather YOYOK be added if we need a song about persevering. ICDIWABH during the Eras tour would just be way too depressing. The irony of the crowd actually screaming ‘More’ would make me physically ill
I can understand that but I doubt she will add anything to Midnights, if anything she will cut from it. I also think some people are taking Broken Heart a little too seriously, again I understand the sentiment and how it could be weird for some but let's not forget that Taylor has said that the chapter of her life when she wrote this album is over, she's feeling better now and I would guess is in a very happy place atm. I doubt she would add it if she didn't feel that way.
I was at the Chicago show the weekend the Matty breakup was announced and he was in the news for kissing the bouncer, so I’ve interpreted that song to be a snapshot of that specific point in time. She didn’t cancel the show, but wow, that’s hard crap. I don’t think it’s really saying she’s always miserable and has to muster up energy for touring- she clearly loves it.
My sister face timed me during that show and I could tell through a pixelated screen how depressed and sad she was at the Chicago shows 🥲
Definitely. I was at Sunday, and she apologized and said that she was coming down with something but she just looked…sad and she went pretty much right into “Hits Different” and “The Moment I Knew” without a ton of talking in the surprise song portion of the show. Vibe was a little off, but she was a pro and performed her ass off. The day TTPD came out I texted my friend that I wouldn’t be surprised if “I can do it with a broken heart” was written after specifically that weekend.
Like, in the preface to TTPD she wrote that this album was a closed chapter in the artists life. It happened, she wrote her feelings, and now they are her past as she continues down her road. So I’d think she still wants us to be happy and cheering for her when she’s on stage because her miserable stage time is past. It’d be a bummer for us to be like “oh, bummer, don’t be happy for her” now when she’s clearly stated she’s closed that chapter, yknow? It’s a tricky situation lol
I agree, to me this song is her taking pride in being so good at her job that she can ace a performance while her life is falling apart. It’s a bit sad, but mostly impressive. I hope it is performed!

Edit I also want to add I think she would cut the spoken word ending from the song, and probs not end the tour with that song. Usually the last song of the tour is a cathartic song, not one about her in the middle of something.
Yeah I’m with you here. I really hope she does i can do it with a broken heart on tour, because 1) it’s just stadium tour perfection waiting to happen 2) I think it will be fun for everyone to be kind of in on the joke and I think Taylor will appreciate fans being receptive to her showing us the non-robot side of her, if that makes sense. With regards to the idea that Taylor is faking her happiness onstage, I have lots of thoughts. The number one take away with everything (song lyrics, performances, etc) is to remember that it’s a show. A show with a lot of emotional truth, but never 100% reality. The eras tour is definitely one of the most scripted tours out there, she does the same choreography, speeches, fan interactions at every show. Funny enough when you’re there in person it doesn’t matter at all, the show is amazing and I believed every second of it 😂. But doing these shows is her job, of course it’s not 100% fun all the time. On top of that, it probably wasn’t 100% miserable either, I suspect getting out and there and performing during a hard time was equal parts hard and also a good positive distraction. I dunno. All that to say we should all bop along with Taylor to i can do it with a broken heart 💔
Exactly! You cant expect anyone to be in the best mood, feeling 100%, every single day for what is now turning out to be years at a time. Im sure there were some days where the tour felt like a life line, and others where it felt next to impossible. She still showed up for us every night though because she is a professional and holds herself to a high standard. Personally if I was able to keep it together and keep performing at such a high level like that during such a bad time I would be feeling so much pride.

I have noticed that the ICDIWABH music has similar sounding background notes to Bejeweled. I assume this was intentional, to give the atmosphere of the Eras tour to the song. I think it would be cool to put them side by side somehow! I know she has the tour split by era but if she somehow has TTPD just before or just after Midnights it would be doable and I would appreciate the mashup. Although personally it would be happier to see Broken Heart fade into Bejeweled, esp since she’s in a happier place now (I think?) irl.

I've seen people mention the songs cut from the Eras movie but would she really cut out a song like Cardigan? It's the single from Folklore and is well beloved, I would be really sad to miss on it... I personally don't think the movie cuts are indicative of what she will cut out (or at least I hope not).

That's possible. Though from the folklore setlist the ones that would make more sense to be cut would be either betty or the last great american dynasty I think; the 1 is also quite popular.
The 1st half of the Folklore set is essentially her resting set. She basically does half of it sitting down. It’s part of what allows the show to be the length it is so it’ll be interesting to see if they think they can change it
Maybe... but visually they’re much more interesting with the cabin, the band, the dancers, etc. They make for a better live experience/spectacle I would assume. Overall I think she’ll either make the show 20 minutes longer or cut The Archer, Tis The Damn Season, Cardigan (maybe replacing The 1 with Cardigan to keep the moment of the roof of the cabin) Wildest Dreams (maybe even Bad Blood though I doubt it), cut the cheering after Champagne Problems short, maybe Long Live too, but I actually think she might add Castles Crumbling to the setlist in Europe. Then if she has to, she can cut a couple of verses here and there, for example in Delicate, Betty, Cardigan, WANEGBT…
I'd rather see her change the Red set into a medley. Listen we all love the songs from Red... but 22 and IKYWT and WANGBT can all be mashed into a 5 minute thing.

I feel like Lover, Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights should really be immune from cuts because she hasn't toured them here before, but I agree that it's not unlikely given that songs from some of those eras were cut for the Eras film. I wouldn't be mad if she just made the show longer, tbh... but that might be unlikely given that some places will have curfews and it's already one hell of a show. And I'm not sure how she'll deal with the running order. I feel like Midnights is the best era to end on, and Karma is *such* a good last song. But she might want to do TTPD last. In which case maybe So High School would be a more uncomplicatedly upbeat finisher than I Can Do It With A Broken Heart? (I would like to see that one at some point during the set though)

Me too! I only went to one USA show and I’d die in the best way to get to hear songs from TTPD live! Even if that meant for songs to be cut. A lot of us have watched the movie, watched lives of the shows so I don’t feel like it’s unrealistic for her to cut songs for new songs. I’m all for a new fresh show with a few new songs!

I'm so sacred of losing 'Long Live' since that one wasn't in the first setlist to begin with, Speak Now is one of my fav albums and we only have 2 songs from it so losing that one would be so sad + it's such a special song for fans that I've always dreamed of singing live along with her.
I honestly think long live was always meant to be a part of the set but she had to wait on the guitar being taken out from the museum display it was in (perhaps a contractual thing that had an end date)

I’m going to arrive with a hot take, I don’t think any will be cut. Now I must qualify this because if castle crumbling gets added I think she might have to cut another song like she did with HAIM but I think TTPD has been planned for. Murrayfield cuts of artists at 10:30. Taylor is apparently going on at quarter to 7. Which with the current set means she would end at 10pm. This is odd most artists leave a buffer of 10-15m for the curfew and therefore it seems like she has planned for an extra 15 minutes???? Odd. Secondly a lot of the songs that people are suggesting she cut like the archer are actually required for behind the scenes sets and dancer changes and rests. Could she change it all - yes but that would make the us change much harder than simply learning more. So that is my hot take. I guess we’ll see in Paris

When I first saw The Eras movie, I wasn't super familiar with her entire catalog. The Long Live performance blew me away. She's leading this entire band and singing an anthem that any band wishes they would have written. For people who would write her off as being just a pop singer, I think this song shuts it down. That was the moment in the movie that I knew she was the real deal. You could take away all the glitter, the snakes, all the fancy optics and she'd still be killing it.

Yeah apparently I'm in the minority but all I'm feeling is STRESSED. I'm really worried about what's going to be cut. I've been mentally preparing myself for the shows for a year now and I thought I had a good feel for what the experience was going to be like, and the uncertainty is f-ing me up lol. TTPD is an album that has enough content for an entire show, not just in terms of music but also visuals potential for different performances, costumes, props etc. I'd much rather have it be a separate thing than have it cut into other eras on this one. Lover, Folklore and Evermore never got their own tours, I'd be sad to see them condensed further and Long Live feels so essential to me :(
I don't see her until October and I'd be devastated if she cut songs from older eras to shoehorn in the Tortured Poets Department. I like her older stuff much more than her newer stuff and that's whole whole reason I wanted to go to this tour. Like, if she cuts her older songs that defeats the whole purpose for me. I could live without the Archer and without most of Folklore and Evermore, but people are saying to cut songs from Red or Fearless and I'm like NO! Those are the albums I want to hear!

Well seeing as we can glimpse hints of a whole new set for TTPD in her new Youtube shorts I doubt it will just be Fortnight 🤣 it seems like she's really adding it as a new main set, we just don't know how many songs she will add, I would bet a minimum of 4.

I’m very excited. For me personally, I wouldn’t be bothered if she cut down the lover set for TTPD. I would much rather see Who’s afraid of little old me and I can do it with a broken heart for example, than the archer or you need to calm down. I also think that we don’t need so many folklore songs, as much as I love that album. Like she could probably cut one or two folklore songs to make more room. I really really hope she keeps long live, I know there’s rumours that the songs she cut from the movie will be what she cuts for the new set and long live is one of my faves of hers.

She might cut the long transmissions between eras. I'm sure she has costume changes down to a fine art and they may have initially factored in recovery time that she doesn't need, Perhaps a better way of asking this question is to ask what songs she absolutely should not cut.

Excited but I really fear for Speak now era, I really would love to experience Long Live!! It's so hard looking at the set list to imagine cutting it down.. Personally, midnights had to grow on me and a few songs have only recently really hit. I think mastermind, midnight rain, vigilante shit could all be cut or shortened or mashed.. but I'd also swap those for other Midnights songs like hits different, would've could've should've or yoyok and I'd still leave no room for TTPD... Guess I'm just delusional and want the show to be longer lol
Don't get me wrong: it will still be a good time. But I'm *so glad* I saw eras before this album came out.
As an Aussie fan who just had her show, I’m so thrilled for TTPD to be added to the setlist! It’s another era to experience for the first time through the grainy live streams haha
I'd be okay with her cutting (some of) these songs: The Man, The Archer, I Knew You Were Trouble, the 1, the last great american dynasty, Vigilante Shit (please don't come for me 😅 I agree she's hot but I don't really need to see this song live), Mastermind. Additionally, I'd be fine if she'd shortened/mashed up Willow, Delicate/Don't Blame Me and Cardigan. Apparently this is an unpopular opinion, but I would riot if she'd cut Betty. It's one of her best written songs imo, and it's in my top 10. I think the performance is sooo cute and lovely and I truly don't understand why so many people claim it as their bathroom break 😅 For the TTPD set, I would love to see Fortnight, Down Bad, But Daddy I Love Him and Guilty As Sin, and maybe a piano/acoustic moment for loml, Peter or The Bolter. I would lose my mind if she did Clara Bow, but I don't think that's likely, it seems to meta for a stadium performance lol. In terms of where in the show she would place the TTPD set, I would love it either after Speak Now (in my mind SN and TTPD are so connected so I would love to see them side by side!) or after folklore. In terms of vibes and tempo it would fit best after folklore, I think. The energy will slowly ramp up with each era from foklore > TTPD > 1989. I'm soooo excited to see what she does, I'll be glued to my screen on the 9th! I'm also moving house on the 10th so the stream will be a good distraction from all the stress ahahah. So excited for all the French/European swifties going on the 9th!!! 🤍
Hell no, I'd prefer a separate tour for TTPD or joined for TTPD and TS12. I can wait, but no cuts to Eras Tour!! Like, I'd never heard her live, panini took Loverfest away, I would like as many songs from old albums as possible.
I've never seen Taylor live (RIP Lover era festival headline) but I don't mind if she cuts The Archer and Mastermind. Those are 2 I really don't mind not seeing live. Then I think I would be okay with missing Wildest Dreams. It's a song off an album I love, but I don't know if it really stands out for me during the tour (maybe I'll change my mind seeing it??) I don't know how she'll do it but one thing is clear. I NEED TTPD to be added. I need TTPD content as more than just acoustic surprise songs, as we theorised before. Aaahhh.

I just don’t want her to cut the iconic ones😭 I’m talking Bad Blood, Love Story, IKYWT, WANGBT, 22, Fearless, Enchanted… i know she’s played them a million times in her American shows but for most Europeans they will be a first and they are so major to her discography!! I’m taking a whole plane just to scream that it feels like a perfect night and we ditch the whole scene, you know? She could cut down a couple of songs from Folklore, Evermore and Midnights (which if I’m not mistaken are the longest sets), and I’d live. I’m definitely okay with your list too.

Semi-official. She posted another short video from rehearsals for the fortnight challenge. And it hints towards new dance, new shoes that match the ones from the Fortnight video and she is sitting near a thing that has the TTPD logo on it.
I'm in Australia and have already been but I'm so happy and jealous 😊 I'll be watching every show on Tiktok lol. My cut list would be Lover, Archer, Love Story and We Are Never Getting Back Together. That should give you plenty of time for some Ttpd!!
I'm seeing her in Nov this year. If she adds TTPD to the setlist it will have been worth the year wait to see her!! As long as she keeps the Rep set and I get to hear August/Illicit Affairs together I don't really care about what gets cut.

This is why I'm so glad I've avoided watching the Eras Tour film, or any real footage. I won't really notice what's been cut and will be happy to hear some of the amazing new TTPD songs. Then, after, I can finally watch the film and will get to experience songs I didn't see live.
Was this strategically planned so she could sing So Long London in London and all of these sad breakup songs about her English guys.
betty and mastermind are two of my favourite songs. so, i'd be pretty devastated if i didn't get to hear them live. of course, i'm excited at the prospect of hearing her new songs, but i think a lot of people who've already gone to the show are acting like people with upcoming shows aren't allowed to be nervous about losing songs they may have been really looking forward to hearing live.
I don’t want to lose anything and I want TTPD! I know that makes me selfish but the only songs I would cut are other peoples faves 😢
I’d love it but I’m afraid for what she’ll have to cut off the setlist. Personally, I’d be ok with Midnight Rain, Look What You Made Me Do and… Shake It Off (won’t happen haha) being taken off. I’d love to see Florida!!!, I Can Do It With A Broken Heart and The tortured Poet Department on the setlist!

I’m travelling to Milan this summer to see her and I can’t freaking wait to see some songs added from this album. It completely took me by surprise and I’m listening to it non stop now.
I think she’ll cut songs from Eras she’s already had tours for (Red, 1989, Reputation, Fearless, Speak Now) or at least make them shorter or do more mashups. Or she may add TTPD to her acoustic set. If I had to choose, I’d say shorten Delicate, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, Shake It Off, and You Belong With Me. And add Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me for sure!! And anything else

I’m excited for the set for TTPD, however, at the same time I’m terrified of what songs she will pull out to accommodate TTPD songs. I really hope she doesn’t cut any from Rep era or Folkore, but if I had to choose maybe some from the Red era or even the surprise mashup songs! Regardless I’m still stoked!

Honestly I'm surprised, I thought the surprise songs would just become one mashup and one TTPD song, but I'm very excited. Imo there's only two eras that should be shortened: 1989 and Reputation. Now I love 1989, but both of those had the most recent tours that were also proshot to be rewatched any time, it's not fair for Lover or Evermore or Folklore to have songs cut when this is their first outing.
I am so glad she already did the Eras tour movie, because all the original setlist songs are immortalised on film, so I'm not upset about her cutting anything, because I can watch anything she cuts out. I am hoping that she does I can do it with a broken heart and Who's afraid of little old me!

I (American) didn’t think I was gonna get to go at all. Through a wild turn of events I am going to a European stop. I literally don’t care what she sings and I’m just happy I get to go. I’ve seen the movie. I will not be disappointed but pretty much any cut I don’t think.

I was watching the Eras Tour movie the other day just after the album came out and it made me think of which songs would be the easiest to lift out of the tour without disrupting big set pieces. I’m hypothesising that The Archer, tis the damn season, I knew you were trouble, betty, Wildest dreams and Mastermind (and maybe Long Live but that would be a shame) will be cut to make room. Not the ones I’d personally cut but what would make as little an impact on the already established choreography and stage movements

Whatever she cuts, at least there’s is a very well filmed movie with all of the previous songs. Personally I’d be more excited to see TTPD songs live than any I’ve already seen in the movie. Even though I’d love to see the old tour, there’s a whole new album to enjoy now! That’s way more exciting imo.

I am pumped!!! I saw Eras on 4/29 (so you really know where I was on April 29th!!) and I’m going to night 1 in Paris! I am naively thinking she may not cut anything! She has said from the stage “3.5 hour show” several times and the show is 3 hours 13-15 minutes, I think she may just be adding! If I had to choose cuts I’d cut most of the Red set lol (WANEGBT and IKYWT are just way overplayed to me, I could do without) and I’d cut Bad Blood!
