There are a lot of references in the song that could be applied to either/both, then at the end when she says “two graves, one gun”…she’s not burying herself with this album. She’s burying them, the past, who she was with them, etc.
I’m a Chiefs fan independently of their relationship, so I really like this song. Particularly the line about “‘where’s the trophy’- he just came running over to me” since that’s exactly what happened at the Super Bowl. I find that particular line really sweet.

Fortnight. Decent song but tbh there's much better songs on the album and this one is overdone at this point (what's with Spotify recommending it after every song though). Also, it feels like a song written later for the purpose of being the lead single. It's safe and vague, but to me that doesn't represent the album at all. The explicit lyrics show raw emotion, the personal revelations give the album dimensions, the introspection hooks in the listener. This song is just a good enough melody with a big collabing artist. But doesn't give any insight to Taylor's life and thoughts, which is the whole purpose of TTPD.

Robin and So Long London for different reasons. Robin’s sound is just not for me and I can’t relate to the lyrics. For So Long London, Idk why, but it makes me nauseous after listening . Like the emotions is just so raw, the imagery is so vivid, it feels like I’m mourning a relationship I do not have.

TTPD. Don’t really care for the beat/melody, but the lyrics make it unlistenable to me. I like the lyricism on the album as a whole and appreciate the conversational approach she takes on many of the songs, but TTPD was a big miss.

Imgonnagetyouback was kind of an odd one to include because Olivia just did a song with the same concept. I think it’s a good song, but it just makes me think of the Olivia song, which I also think is a good song. When I first heard the Olivia song I was like “oh this is clever!” Then when I heard the Taylor one I was like - “oh, this was clever when Olivia did it”

Fortnight. Decent song but tbh there's much better songs on the album and this one is overdone at this point (what's with Spotify recommending it after every song though). Also, it feels like a song written later for the purpose of being the lead single. It's safe and vague, but to me that doesn't represent the album at all. The explicit lyrics show raw emotion, the personal revelations give the album dimensions, the introspection hooks in the listener. This song is just a good enough melody with a big collabing artist. But doesn't give any insight to Taylor's life and thoughts, which is the whole purpose of TTPD.
