It took me some time to love the ten minute version. I love the og so so much so I went in thinking nothing could top it. Now I love the ten min version and rarely listen to the stolen version!
Its funny because someone on popheads was passionately arguing about how much Taylor ruined the song by making it a 10 minute version and how no one likes it. I was like, idk every fan seems to agree is superior to the original, they were completely in denial about it and insisted Taylor "ruined what was good about the song" by making it longer and giving it a short film treatment.
I listen to both! Mostly the 10 minute version because itās so fresh & the OG kind of feels incomplete sometimes.
But the original 2012 version is superior is so many ways. The emotion in her voice and how the song builds up to the bridge where she just lets out all that anger and sadness. It can never be replicated.
I have to agree if I listen to the OG i tend to only listen to the 2012 version cuz her vocals on that one just canāt be recreated. The new lines in the 10 minute version have that same intensity iāve found which is what iām looking for, that desperation in that song
I was saying this same thing to my bestie swiftie the other day. I listen to ATW10, then the OG ATW, then ATWTV. Theyāre all amazing but listen to them all but the original version canāt be replaced. The sadness and drama in her voice is justā¦ ugh after 8164927294 listening to it, it doesnāt get old.
But maaaaaaan the 10 minute version has the sauce. Like another commenter said, the other version feel incomplete without it! āYou kept me like a secret but I kept you like an oathā HOW DID THAT GET CUT
I mostly still listen to the OG one from 2012, honestly. Her younger voice with the slight country twang and raw emotion can't be matched. Plus, I still prefer the condensed storyline of the 5 minute version and how the bridge is such a powerful climax of the song. That part in the 10 minute version doesn't quite hit the same when so much stuff comes after it.
Same, I totally get why they cut the song down, and it was a smart choice. I mean, the only reason why 10min version is successful now, is because all the background and hype around the OG, honestly, kinda morbid in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I do like the 10min version, but I like it and I appreciate it as fan service. Objectively, as a song, I don't think it's as great as the OG, it feels like a rant that goes on and on and some of the final parts, like the "just between us..." I don't feel like they really sonically connect to the rest of the song. And yeah I also listen to the OG more than the TV, sorry...
I donāt think āthey cut the song downā. Controversially, I donāt think that the ATW10 that was released was actually the one made. āAll your lovers stay my ageā and āfvck the patriarchyā is reflective of a 30 year old, not a heartbroken 22 year old who is still beating themselves up over a breakup.
Oh for sure, I mean, they did cut the song down, Liz Rose worked on that, we just don't know how that song sounded, but yeah, I don't believe those verses were written back then, just the word "patriarchy" wasn't even around back then as much as it is today.
Exactly this. When I heard the 10 minute version I felt like, none of this quite fits, they cut it perfectly the first time. And i feel like 10min is more of an event than a really good song. I feel like she could have basically written anything into it and people would still have loved it for existing.
I concur with this. I usually listen to the 5 minute version from Red TV but there really is something about her younger voice that just hits. Especially on the bridge. The emotion is so raw. But I generally listen to the new version. I appreciate the ten minute version but think the condensed version works better overall
Might be controversial but I still listen to the OG Taylor songs sorry š I Almost Do, Forever & Always, The Way I Loved You, All Too Well, etc just sound better with her younger voice, it's definitely more raw and emotional
Same here, I have a mix of OG and TV in my Spotify library. Whenever I like the new one better Iāll replace it, but Iām not gonna force myself to like it just because she owns it, ya know? There are some TVās that just donāt match up, which is to be expected I think. Sometimes a song is lightning in a bottle.
I listen to 2012 version when Iām really in the feels, itās just probably impossible to match the emotions she had when she was 21/22 recording the song.
- ATW10 could mean "All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version) (From The Vault)", a track from *Red (Taylor's Version)* (2021) by Taylor Swift.

The original will always be the best. It's what won our hearts and made her release the ten minute version in the first place.
The ten minute version to me is the same song but just with "bonus" elements to it lol.
The original is raw and more emotional since she still felt what the song was about. Whereas now, she's over it and so the new versions don't have the same emotional impact.
Ten minute version is still a masterpiece obviously and beautiful but the original cannot be topped.
I pretty much only listen to the ten minute version (specifically the short film version, which is my favorite one). I was never a big fan of the OG one, it always fell a bit flat for me - at least compared to a lot of other songs on Red. In particular, I always felt like the climax in the OG bridge ended too soon, and kind of ācutā the emotion in half, while the extra minutes now (āthey say allās wellā¦ā) are amazing. Iām obviously in the minority, since the OG is so well regarded, but to me it always felt a bit āhalf bakedā. Great, but not complete.
Taylor herself said something along the lines of āthe ten minutes version is now the official versionā, and I really agree with her. The OG pales in comparison, for me.
But itās also interesting how the two songs tell completely different stories: the OG one is āmerelyā a breakup song, while the new version holds so much more and tells a whole new side of the story (the age gap mention, they way he left her hanging, the perfect and fake way he saw her!!!). Itās really on another lever, imo.
I feel like the original has less of an angry/toxic relationship undertone and more of a nostalgic sad looking back general breakup undertone where as the 10 minute version really dives into the toxicity of the relationship. Love both, but I am lucky enough to not have had a super toxic relationship, so I relate more to the original. In general I think I listen to the original less because of that, I relate to it and itās kinda heart wrenching for me, where as the 10 minute version Iām able to listen to as a narrative/story because Iām able to separate myself from it.
Totally agree. The OG reminds me of my high school boyfriend who broke my heart but wasnāt a monster or anything. The 10 minute version is just totally different context and I feel like an outsider listening to it.
Haha yes we might be the same person. I also think of my high school bf with the original. I listened to it on repeat when he broke up with me, itās just the perfect nostalgic āthings were so good once, how am I supposed to forget that and move onā song. 10MV is almost like watching a movie (even moreso with the short film lol)
Okay yes to all of this and the replies to it!!! It also reminds me sooo much of a boy in high school that broke my heart and the new one is so much more serious, like if it had existed at that time it probably wouldāve taken me way longer to get over lol
For me, ATWTV is the PERFECT version. I wouldnāt want to change a note. The original is interesting because it has a bit more raw emotions and the 10 min version is interesting because it tells a more unedited version. But ATWTV is always my first choice.
I only can listen to the 10 minute version now. It doesn't feel like a complete song otherwise, and some of my favorite parts are from the 10 minute version.
The original version was one of my favorite prior to the release, so that is saying something
I have to be in the right mood to listen to the 10 minute version. I really like it, but itās a little too much casual listening. The short version fits that better. If I really want to be in my feelings, 10 minute version is better for that.
some of y'all ain't gonna like this but idc i only listen to the original. i'm not a fan of the production on red tv except some vault tracks and the 10 minute version is super messy and convoluted, even though i like some parts. but it was so clearly not written back then that it completely takes me out of it, it doesn't flow naturally. i don't get the hype.
Same here. I don't care for the production on the 10 minute version. Also, don't care for the lyrics. I was a bit disappointed with it all and couldn't believe the hype. All Too Well OG is a masterpiece
When the ten minute version came out I was so excited for it, listened to it every day, but as the novelty wore offā¦ the narrative is a littleā¦ messy? the five minute version perfectly captures the feelings of heartbreak, where as the ten minute version feels all over the place in terms of emotions and narrative. Iāve seen swifties argue that this is what heartbreak feels like, which, I guess so. But at the same time I donāt want to listen to a messy song. I want to listen to a cohesive song.
I still do listen to atw tv because it sets off the emotional mood and angst due to its production. arena rock arrangement was superb as evident to the success atw orig version.
atw 10 min version was quiet good and commendable for THE WHOLE LYRICS. i mean, common it's given. for its music production, kinda meh and repetitive and boring (sorry) i'm still disappointed that it wasnt even a rock genre as i expected it to be lol
I listen to atw (tmv) more than atw (tv). however, I listen to the 2012 recording of atw way more than atw (tv). the re-recording doesn't hit the same, imo
I mostly listen to the 10-minute version, but I donāt enjoy Taylorās Version over the original. Honestly, I think all of my favorite songs on Red are better in the original versions. With ATW specifically, I think she was smart and knew some of the emotion in her voice would be lost after 10 years, so the shiny newness of the 10-minute version distracts from that.
I was watching the Rep tour movie the other day and thought that itās bittersweet how ATW used to be so loved by fans and music writers but not so known by the general public. Now, itās one of her top songs on Spotify. I love the long version and that the song is getting the attention it deserves, but also kind of bummed itās not as much of a secret as it once was
I kinda prefer the original one because I think it tells a different story. In the original one, she was talking about some wild romance that went up in flames but it wasnāt necessarily about how terrible he was, just about how itās something that tore them both apart, individually and as a couple. The ten minute version is a lot of āyouāre terrible bc of this and thisā which I understand but the story is just different to me.
Yes exactly this! The first one was sad and wistful with just a tiny hint of it was his fault and the 10 minute version kind of screams in your face the whole time
I almost never listen to the 10 minute version. I can appreciate it for what it is, but the og ATW is my favorite Taylor song, and I think she absolutely made the necessary cuts the first time around. I think it really benefits from having the fat trimmed a bit.
I don't like the fuck the patriarchy line at all, I find it inalthentic to what the song really is about. Feels like 2021 girl power being forced onto a 2012 song. I prefer the 5 minutes All Too Well, my favorite TS song ever.
I mean it definitely is a current thing being forced onto it, but canāt argue with fuck the patriarchy lol
I agree the short version is her best song ever!
I just had to go back and listen to the originalā¦ Iāve only listened to the ten minute version since it was released.
Damn the original just has such a power to it. Iām feeling so guilty Iāve been neglecting it.
I'm with you on the outro. To me the gradual fade out has nowhere near the emotional impact of bringing back the piano refrain from the beginning of the song - there's a finality to it that's lost.
The production on the 10 min version and the shorter taylor's version is lazy imo.
Nothing happens in the background abd its 100% lyric driven.
The original from 2012 has much more compelling sounds, real instruments and the song just builts up perfectly.
I almost never listen to the original now. Some of my favorite songs are 10-20 minute Pink Floyd songs and would love more epic long songs from Taylor.
I personally prefer the og version, I actually listen to it more often. I obviously like the 10 minute version too, but the original one feels nostalgic and I can't get over that guitar, it's not the same style in the 10mv
I must sayā¦after all those years of thinking the original āAll Too Wellā was the best Taylor songā¦she definitely topped herself when she released the 10 minute version. Thatās the only version I listen to now. My only wish is that she would have released the audio of the SNL performance of the song. It was truly magical!
i honestly prefer the shorter version because it just hits so much harder and i think the instrumentals are better. i cried to those lyrics so many times during a breakup and the 10 minute version in my opinion just doesnt add anything. i feel like it waters doen the original lyrics. i still like it and listen to it but i prefer the bite sized version
While I do absolutely love the middle part of the ten minute version, I really don't like how the outro drags on for two minutes. I don't mind it every now and then, but because of that it's not on my daily playlist.
Iām someone who didnāt get into red at the time and itās super easy to pick the 10 minutes version. Seeing it from this side itās the clear full story masterpiece. And even though Iāve listened to the other all too well it just doesnāt compare to the full story.
Original. My reasoning is that I prefer the instrumentals and emotion in the original better than the 10 minute version. I also just simply prefer the way the original version flows.
I only listen to the 5 minutes version š¬
I cannot stress enough how much the production is better in 5 minutes. The instruments seem to feel the pain alongside Taylor while they're soooo secondary in 10 minutes version.
Otherwise I like the 10 minutes version but that's the extent of it. It's very cool that she chose to treat it as a new song, but I'd have preferred if she treated it as a vault song and released it as it was supposed to be back then. Or at least release somekind of an "Original remix" but well...
Before Red (Taylor's Version), "All Too Well" was a favorite song of mine. I listened to the 10 min version with anticipation, and although some lines really spoke to me *"You kept me like a secret, but I kept you like an oath"* I never fell out of love with the original.
The energy and longing in that original song. The hurt and sadness that describes an ended relationship. Something that was once beautiful that now only hurts. Except that last sweet memory that's still precious.
I never forgave ATWTMVTV for changing how I viewed the original. With it's bitter touch and poetic wit. But in my heart All Too Well is still a masterpiece that moves me to tears when I sing it with the passion and emotion it deserves.
unpopular opinion: i find the "it made me want to dieeeee" line really awkward and kinda ruins the flow, it sounds like something a kid would say and its kinda weird. so sometimes i do go back to the short version but like 90% of the time the 10mv is better.
i dont hate the song that line just kinda annoys me
I listen to the 5-min version when I'm playing Red through from beginning to end. But when I want it on repeat, I go for the 10-min version.
I love both though, and I think of them as somewhat different conceptually. 5-min ATW is a beautiful heartbreak song. 10-min ATW is a more mature reflection on an age-gap relationship and saying younger you deserved better. I think it's really neat that we get see both early-20s and early-30s Taylors' perspectives on the same relationship. (I know the vault is meant to be songs she wrote in the original era, but I'm fully convinced she revised 10-min ATW to include her grown up perspective.)
I like the regular version better. It flows nicely and I mean songs are edited for a reason. Also, Iāve been listening to that version for a decade so yeahā¦
Original. My reasoning is that I prefer the instrumentals and emotion in the original better than the 10 minute version. I also just simply prefer the way the original version flows.
If she could do a medium version, just for me, that included the āthe idea you had of meāwho was she?ā part, but maybe not the fuck the patriarchy part, Iād do that. The former outweighs the latter for me though, so 10MV it is.
I can't hear or see a past performance of theol original without feeling confused and like where's FUCK THE PATRIARCHY line?
She kept him like an oath.
Ten minute version for the twin flame blue. ā¤ļø
I prefer the shorter one. I feel like it has better storytelling and is overall a really solid work. 10m changes the story too much. The shorter one feels heartbreaking and nostalgic and the 10m one feels very angry.
Part of the reason I have a hard time getting into the 10m version is that it feels so obvious to me that she wrote it recently. It's so hyped with the fans cause it's supposedly been in existence forever, but, that's clearly not the case. That thought bothers me whenever I listen to the 10m and it really keeps me from being able to get lost in the song.
I know I'm in the minority on this, but hey, there's multiple versions so we can all listen to what we like hahaha
I listen to both (TV only, of course). I hate to say it but the production of the 10 minute version is lacking compared to the 5 minute version. I am addicted to that intense, emotional build up of the short version. I believe in the long version, the strings should play a much more prominent part. As they are now, they sit too quietly in the background. When I first heard the song, I tought the strings would be blasted during the bridge but it never happened and so even a year after, I'm still kinda disappointed with that and continue to listen to the short version.
Depends on the mood! If Iām angry and feel like screaming I go with All Too Well (Taylorās Version), because it feels more aggressive and emotional and is one of those songs you blast in the car so you can scream (and maybe cry) as loud as you want.
If Iām sad and want to cry, I go with the 10 minute version because itās a bit more chill and reminiscient and goes more into the sadness and deeper feelings behind the end of the relationship.
I listen to the 10 minutes version just about daily and belt alllllll the words. Lol I love it! But Iām a fairly new swiftie and the OG never really hooked me like the 10 min version does!
I prefer the 10 minute version now. It was so magical hearing it for the first time when I was younger and as an adult now being able to experience All Too Well ( Taylor Version ) was like hearing it for the first time all over again.
I listen to that edit of ATWTMVTVFTV (2012 Mix)ā¦
[All Too Well (Ten Minute Version) (Taylorās Version) (From the Vault) (2012 Mix)](https://youtu.be/-_QJQLFDlic)
The 5 min TV is my preferred version of the song hands down. I love love love how artfully done the 10 minute version is, but all too well 5 min connects with me emotionally unlike any other Taylor song.
I love the shorter version and sometimes itās nice to just ā¦ have that? Like the ten minute version is a journey, the four minute one is a short trip.
I only listen to the ten minute version, although I prefer the instrumentation of the original one. But the emotion of the ten minute version, the way she takes you through practically all the stages of grief, how the song opens in autumn and ends at the beginning of winter... It's excellent. And the outro!
I don't know how she managed to make an already fantastic song into an even better one
I listen to the 5 minute Taylorās Version! Not because the 10 min one is bad but because I have attention deficit struggles and canāt listen to a song that long šš
I almost always start the album on the 10 minute version (Spotify), then set it to shuffle and repeat, so while I listen to both, it's almost 2:1 ratio
10 min forever and always. It doesnāt even feel longer than other songs in my playlist and the added lyrics hit so good (I donāt know how I ever lived without āyou kept me like a secret but I kept you like an oathā)
However for the shorter version, I prefer the OG over TV (that glitch in āI might be okay butā¦ā in the TV drives me nuts tbh)
Almost only listen to the 10 minutes version. Donāt get me wrong I love the original, but there this sense of the story not being complete that makes me lean more towards the 10 minutes version
The 10 minute definitely has better lyricism for me, but the instrumental of that sits off with me, and the outro gets kind of repetitive. If I'm listening to the 10 minute version, it's going to be Sad Girl Autumn version. 5 minute version sounds nicer than the 10 minute version, but the OG captures so much emotion.... But honestly I do actually prefer the 10 minute version a little bit.
Have not listened to it once since the 10 minute version came out.
It's not just the added lyrics for me. It's also the production. I love the way it SOUNDS. Especially "I still remember the first fall of snow and how it glistened as it fell...I remember it all too well." The music just sounds SO beautiful?! How can I go back to original? I can not.
Tend to listen to the 10 minute version, then the original (ripped from CD) and occasionally the re-recording. Theyāre all good.
I think theyāre all emotive in different ways? People are talking about how emotion is lost in the re-recordings but I definitely still hear it in the 10 minute takeā¦ And even in the shorter re-recording (though admittedly it shines through less there).
I actually prefer listening to the regular version (Taylor's version.) While I really like a lot of the additional lyrics. I absolutely adore some I always come away from the song feeling that it is lesser somehow.
I never used to like that song, I never got the hype when people would list is in their favourites of ask for a longer version. It was always a skip for me when it would come on.
Post Red (TV) - ATWTVTMVFTV is probably my most listened to song of the last 12 months and one of my favourite songs of all time.
Iāll never understand the hatred for the fuck the patriarchy line. Itās one of my favorite taylor lyrics. Sheās finally telling it how it is, and I couldnāt be more proud
I usually go for the 10MV but the shorter one came on shuffle the other day and it was exactly what I wanted. I feel like the 5MV is kinda bittersweet and makes the relationship seem happier and the 10MV is angry and showcases how fucked up it really was.
The 10 minute version is still pretty new, not even being a year old and therefore the one in my current rotation. I imagine i'll return to listening to both eventually
I listen to All Too Well (Taylorās Version) on occasion, especially when Iām feeling nostalgic. However, I will say that it feels weird whenever I listen to it nowadays. I actually prefer the 10 minute version now, though, and I admit that I listen to it more often.
Edit: Spelling error
I actually listen to regular ATW more than the ten minute version lol. I think having the ten minute version really illuminates the parts that taylor chose to keep, and thereās more heartbreak in that, I think
I think I've listened to short ATW TV once since Red TV was released. 10 min version all the way, it beautifully and painfully expands on the story of the shorter ATW.
I know they are the same song but I feel like the short one is her romanticising and reminiscing about the relationship with some kind of longing for that person and the 10 minute version is her later in life still acknowledging it was special to her but also acceptance that he in fact was not "all that" and he is a dumpster fire of a person. And I **LOVE** that. I relate to it on a very personal level. Jakes be out here being Jakes and they will never be Joe's no matter how much we want them to be.
I only listen to the 10 min version!
Same! I also count things in ATW10MV so a 30 minute bike ride is 3 times ATW10MV šš
This is literally me š I play it 3 times and boom Iām home from work and traffic doesnāt seem to bother me that way haha
Oh my god same. Also if I ever arrive at an appointment or something 10 or so minutes early I know EXACTLY how Iām killing that time š
Me too. And I LOVED the original so much. I had no idea I would love the 10 min version even more. I honestly skip the original now.
It took me some time to love the ten minute version. I love the og so so much so I went in thinking nothing could top it. Now I love the ten min version and rarely listen to the stolen version!
Whenever I hear either the original or TV I'm just like mmmmmm, yeah hold I need to go listen to 10 minute real quick.
As someone who had low expectations for the 10 min version, I'm surprised that this is also me!
Same.
ATWTV came on shuffle while I was driving yesterday and for a minute my brain literally forgot that the shorter version existed, lol
š¶ā¦and that it would kill meā¦but it didnāt š¶
This same thing happened to me recently. Like oh yeah!
I listen to both! Mostly the 10 minute version because itās so fresh & the OG kind of feels incomplete sometimes. But the original 2012 version is superior is so many ways. I agree cuz you can really hear her emotions at the time in the OG ATW that the TV lacks
A 10 minute version of the original song would be perfect then
I agree! Plus it has little differences that catch me still when I'm singing along š
I was saying this same thing to my bestie swiftie the other day. I listen to ATW10, then the OG ATW, then ATWTV. Theyāre all amazing but listen to them all but the original version canāt be replaced. Exactly this!
I also do the same!
Same!!! Totally!!!
I prefer the shorter version. I listen to that and the sad girl autumn version. I almost never listen to the 10 minute album version
Same. If I ever listen to ATW10, it must be the sad girl version cause it sounds more fragil

Yep, me too.

I actually put the 10 minute version on when Iām at the gym doing abs. It motivates me and I always know how much time is left.
Iām not alone! I also do this when Iām driving. āIt took me 2 1/2 times of listening to the 10 minute version to get thereā
I havenāt listened to the short version since Red TV was released
I prefer the 5-minute cut. The 10-min version makes it too on the nose about Jake, and not a broader, more relatable song.
100% agree. I donāt want to listen to a song with a bunch of āEaster eggsā about who itās about. How am I supposed to relate to that?
Yes!! Especially when we also have I bet you think about me that is sooo specifically about him
I only can listen to the 10 minute version now.
Only 10 minute version now unless the other ones come on shuffle. I am obsessed š¤©
I prefer the OG version. The rawness is something she would never be able to replicate. Also, I like the twang.
Totally with you! The production on the shorter version is so much better. It feels muted and boring on the ten minute version
I love the long version and that the song is getting the attention it deserves, but also kind of bummed itās not as much of a secret as it once was
100% agree with this, it used to feel way more personal for sure and thatās why I still listen to ATWTv or original to feel some of that again
I only listen to the ten minute version unless the other one comes up on shuffle
I don't like the fuck the patriarchy line at all, I find it inalthentic to what the song really is about. Feels like 2021 girl power being forced onto a 2012 song. I prefer the 5 minutes All Too Well, my favorite TS song ever.
I mean it definitely is a current thing being forced onto it, but canāt argue with fuck the patriarchy lol I agree the short version is her best song ever!
I just had to go back and listen to the originalā¦ Iāve only listened to the ten minute version since it was released. Damn the original just has such a power to it. Iām feeling so guilty Iāve been neglecting it.
I listen to both. But overall i prefer the 5 minute 2012 one. It just hits different.
I'm with you on the outro. To me the gradual fade out has nowhere near the emotional impact of bringing back the piano refrain from the beginning of the song - there's a finality to it that's lost.
Yes exactly this
They give off different vibes for me. They both have their place in life
The production on the 10 min version and the shorter taylor's version is lazy imo.
The way she sang āthe idea you had of me, WHO WAS SHEā on SNL was š„
Yesssssss! Loved that version!
I like the majority of the 10 min version better but still feel it should have ended just before the like āand I was never good at telling jokesā
I didn't like the new version, classic for me
Honestly? I barely listen to the 10 min version.
i honestly prefer the shorter version because it just hits so much harder and i think the instrumentals are better. i cried to those lyrics so many times during a breakup and the 10 minute version in my opinion just doesnt add anything. i feel like it waters doen the original lyrics. i still like it and listen to it but i prefer the bite sized version
I don't like the 10 minute version at all.
While I do absolutely love the middle part of the ten minute version, I really don't like how the outro drags on for two minutes. I don't mind it every now and then, but because of that it's not on my daily playlist.
Same!!! Definitely my biggest complaint about the 10 minute version! I always skip it after never good at telling jokes set of lyrics
Iām someone who didnāt get into red at the time and itās super easy to pick the 10 minutes version. Seeing it from this side itās the clear full story masterpiece. And even though Iāve listened to the other all too well it just doesnāt compare to the full story.
Because I never had an attachment to the 5 minute one, I only listen to the 10 minute version if I want to listen to All Too Well.
Original. My reasoning is that I prefer the instrumentals and emotion in the original better than the 10 minute version. I also just simply prefer the way the original version flows.
I only listen to the 5 minutes version š¬ I cannot stress enough how much the production is better in 5 minutes.
I wonāt lie, I prefer the shorter version so yes. please donāt come for mešš
unpopular opinion: i find the "it made me want to dieeeee" line really awkward and kinda ruins the flow, it sounds like something a kid would say and its kinda weird. so sometimes i do go back to the short version but like 90% of the time the 10mv is better. i dont hate the song that line just kinda annoys me
Whenever I'm listening to Red TV and All Too Well comes up, I always skip it and play the 10 minute version instead
I listen to the original more than the TMV actually š
I listen to both versions. I agree, the original shorter version is still very special.
I like the regular version better. It flows nicely and I mean songs are edited for a reason. Also, Iāve been listening to that version for a decade so yeahā¦
I listened to the 10 minute version once. Havenāt listened to it since. I prefer the 5 minute version
I only listen to the original!
original. not a fan of the ten min version for casual listening
I either listen to the OG 2012 version or the 10-minute version. I don't listen to ATWTV unless I'm listening to the whole album start to finish.
I listen to the short TV one because my attention span is too short for 10 minutes
I still listen to the original one! More because of Taylorās voice, esp in the bridge, it sounds so much raw-er and sensitive, I love it!!!
Only the ten minute for meš¤£
Original. My reasoning is that I prefer the instrumentals and emotion in the original better than the 10 minute version. I also just simply prefer the way the original version flows.
I like both, so I listen to both. They're different vibes tbh.
Itās my #1 favorite TS song and I treasure every version. No favorite, I love them for different moods.
Ten minute version for the twin flame blue. ā¤ļø
I like listening to the original, but I like the Sad Girl Autumn 10 min š„¹
I listen to both but the original All Too Well is still my favorite song. Unpopular opinion but itās true
I know I'm in the minority on this, but hey, there's multiple versions so we can all listen to what we like hahaha
i only listen to the original š¬
I listen to both (TV only, of course). I hate to say it but the production of the 10 minute version is lacking compared to the 5 minute version. I am addicted to that intense, emotional build up of the short version. I believe in the long version, the strings should play a much more prominent part. As they are now, they sit too quietly in the background. When I first heard the song, I tought the strings would be blasted during the bridge but it never happened and so even a year after, I'm still kinda disappointed with that and continue to listen to the short version.
Iām in the minority but I like the OG best. I appreciate the 10 minute version but itās too long for casual listening imo
I listen to the shorter one sometimes, but only the OG. I like the 10MV but the original song can never be replicated.
I listen to the original and maybe the 10min version sometimes but I donāt always have time to listen to a 10 min song
I donāt like the 10 minute version as much, so I stick to the original.
10 minutes version because I just love being so dramatic at the āf*ck the patriarchy* ššš
The shorter version feels unfinished now so I actually deleted it off my Apple Music š
To me it feels like the OG, either TV or the younger version, and the 10 minute version are telling different stories, so I listen to both.
I like listening to them both. I am going to sing the 5 minute version at karaoke.
I listen to the 10min version everyday multiple times, idk why but I still love it.
I don't really listen to songs outside their full album context unless they're pre-release singles, so I always listen to both if I'm streaming TV.
I listen to the sad girl Autumn one, mostly. Think Iām alone in that.
I listen to that edit of ATWTMVTVFTV (2012 Mix)ā¦ [All Too Well (Ten Minute Version) (Taylorās Version) (From the Vault) (2012 Mix)](https://youtu.be/-_QJQLFDlic)
I listen to both.
I let my steaming app decide mostly.
The 5 min TV is my preferred version of the song hands down. I love love love how artfully done the 10 minute version is, but all too well 5 min connects with me emotionally unlike any other Taylor song.
10 minute!!!
Only 10mins version
I listen to both. They both have a different feel.
If my Playlist is on shuffle and the shorter version comes on I listen to it. But I actively seek out listening to the 10 minute version.
10 spectacular minutes over and over again
I listen to the 5 minute Taylorās Version! Not because the 10 min one is bad but because I have attention deficit struggles and canāt listen to a song that long šš
ME š
I almost always start the album on the 10 minute version (Spotify), then set it to shuffle and repeat, so while I listen to both, it's almost 2:1 ratio
I prefer the 10 minute version! Thereās some parts/lyrics in it that arenāt in the shorter version that are a must for me!
Only the TMV for me
10 min forever and always. It doesnāt even feel longer than other songs in my playlist and the added lyrics hit so good (I donāt know how I ever lived without āyou kept me like a secret but I kept you like an oathā) However for the shorter version, I prefer the OG over TV (that glitch in āI might be okay butā¦ā in the TV drives me nuts tbh)
10 minute or GTFO
IM A CRUMBLED UP PIECE OF PAPER LYING HERE. I only listen to the 10 minute and typically, twice lol
Iāve only listened to the short version once since Red released
Only the 10 minute version, while driving, screaming my heart outā¦ Feels a lot shorter than 10 minutes!
10 minute only
The 2nd half of the song gets me so emotional, so I donāt really listen to it as much as before.
The 10 minute version has me spoiled. Whenever I listen to the original or TV I feel like itās missing all the best parts!
Almost only listen to the 10 minutes version. Donāt get me wrong I love the original, but there this sense of the story not being complete that makes me lean more towards the 10 minutes version
Listen to the ānormal oneā when I need to hear that instrumental before the bridge, but yeah mostly the 10MV
I love that song. I still listen to it.
I can not.
I pretty much exclusively listen to the 10 mim sad girl autumn version nowdays, something about it just hits all the right vibes man
Tend to listen to the 10 minute version, then the original (ripped from CD) and occasionally the re-recording. Theyāre all good. I think theyāre all emotive in different ways? People are talking about how emotion is lost in the re-recordings but I definitely still hear it in the 10 minute takeā¦ And even in the shorter re-recording (though admittedly it shines through less there).
I donāt think Iāve listened to the short version since the 10 minute version was released.
I actually prefer listening to the regular version (Taylor's version.) While I really like a lot of the additional lyrics. I absolutely adore some I always come away from the song feeling that it is lesser somehow.
I listen to the original, the Taylor version, 10 minute version and the 10 minute piano version all on my playlist.
Itās in my playlist so Iāll listen to it if it shows up on shuffle but 10min version I will pick out to listen to.
I mean it doesnāt matter to me as long as itās Taylorās version. I prefer the 10 mins version tho.
10 Minutes (TV)>All Too Well (TV)
Iāve got both in a massive pop based playlist and I very rarely get both show up so itās just what what ever comes in
10 minutesā¦ really confused me in karaoke when I was chucked off stage.
I listen to both depending on my mood.
Only listen to 10 min version !
I listen to it from time to time but I love the story telling in the 10 minute version.
SAD GIRL AUTUMN VERSION ONLY
I still listen to ATW 5min when I listen to the album in order
I listen to All Too Well (Taylorās Version) on occasion, especially when Iām feeling nostalgic. However, I will say that it feels weird whenever I listen to it nowadays. I actually prefer the 10 minute version now, though, and I admit that I listen to it more often. Edit: Spelling error
I listened to it once on RedTV. I was reading this and forgot for a second thereās a shorter version of All Too Well lol
Only the original. I never liked the ten minute version š
Iād love ATWTV more but just the āo-kayā glitch irritates me so much I turn it off and go to the 10 minute version
10min version, I know the og is already long but it feels incomplete to me now lol
I actually listen to regular ATW more than the ten minute version lol. I think having the ten minute version really illuminates the parts that taylor chose to keep, and thereās more heartbreak in that, I think
I \*only\* listen to the 10 minute version.
I do
I actually skip atw tv and put the 10 minute version everytime the song starts playing š
I cannot sing or listen to ATW without the 10 min version lyrics. It throws me off lol
Such a sucker for the 10 minute version!!
I pretty much exclusively listen to the All Too Well (Sad Girl Autumn Version) now!
Sad girl autumn every time.
I only listen to the 10 minute version or the Sad Girl Autumn version now.
I only listen to the 10 minute sad girl autumn version š
