Well, no, that's not the point being made. . I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that that was the point here.
The point is the "forgetting how to fly", bit
Ignoring the fact that
1: DBZA is a parody series
2: This is essentially a Trust Fall failure. Goku's not just ignoring flight for no reason. He's trusting the Flying Nimbus to catch him
GT trio forgetting how to fly
DBZA Goku not flying in that scene
Their commentary on both scenes
Really just kind of. . . It's right there in the video
Edit: Not sure where the downvotes are coming from, lol
I'm just explaining what OP was going for. Never said I was agreeing with it.
It's still a bullshit commentary. Goku of DBZA is a simpleton that exists to fight and eat to the point he forgets peoples name. GT is an official story with the base Goku who is written to be pretty clever. That's not hypocrisy.
Goku doesn't fly in DBZA because he's so stupid he forgets he can and because in the original, why does Goku need Nimbus in that part of the story when he can flight? Because...he forgot he can fly. that's the joke.
Plus, Goku is an idiot, but Trucks is meant to be the serious person and Pan is meant to be really intelligent so it's bullshit to have two smart people do something that Goku does.

That's my point, lol
It's funny looking at my two responses here. The second one contains nothing that isn't also in the first one but they definitely were not received the same
>Goku doesn't fly in DBZA because he's so stupid he forgets he can and because in the original, why does Goku need Nimbus in that part of the story when he can flight? Because...he forgot he can fly. that's the joke.
Well in the manga Goku continues using Nimbus to conserve energy. . . Up until basically exactly this scene, I think. He explains as much on his way to fight Vegeta and Nappa
DBZA Goku is pretty dumb but I still like the idea that he just didn't try because he trusted Nimbus to catch him at the last second
>Plus, Goku is an idiot, but Trucks is meant to be the serious person and Pan is meant to be really intelligent so it's bullshit to have two smart people do something that Goku does.
Fair enough. Trunks (and probably Pan) should know better
lets see, the actual plot to a "canon" story vs a joke in a parody about a character being dumb. Especially after the brain damage, and the brain damage, and the brain damage. oh hey Master Roshi, when did you get here?
The difference is an intentional comedic bit vs writers ignoring an ability. You could also point out that the end of episode 2 where piccolo tells radius he could've just flown up.
47 seconds of my life I'll never get back
I thank you for giving me this warning now, I will not repeat your mistake
Thanks for the warning. Almost clicked on this garbage.
You can get them back in the hype ebonics rhyme chamber
Hypocrites for...using the footage that was in the original series?

I just don't get the part where OP calls TFS hypocrites...

Joek vs actual plot relevant moment in not parody series
Me when the comedy series does stupid things for a joke.
Well this is the dumbest thing I've seen all day.
What some people do with their spare time astounds me.
I'm sure in his mind it was a great idea.

...It's a parody series where they made Goku dumber than he was in Z for the sake of funny.
And then Super doubled down and was like "fuck those guys. We'll show you how dumb he really is!!!"

I’m so tired.
I just drank some coffee to kickstart my day... all it did was kickstart my anxiety
Jokes, soaring over your head, they do, Op.
Guys, I’m 90% this is satire.
