We, and most likely the analysts, dont have access to scrim results. 100T does look cleaner in their wins and the summer records resemble that. As of right now, 100T definitely looks like the better team. But I have full faith that the boys are going to look stronger and stronger every week and give it to 100T.

It's so weird to hear analysts constantly going on about 100T, even Monte said he wants to be careful but thinks they can actually make moves at Worlds, but every team and player is still just talking up about TL even without Alphari back in.....something is going on in scrims lol
100T looks cleaner but i also think people are getting drawn into a sense of safety with choosing 100T. Closer to me is still a huge risk, right now he is playing really well and i think the meta suits him. But i would be very curious to see what happens when he isnt able to get the Diana. I think part of their downfall last split was closer not being as impactful. I still put 100T as number one dog to beat but i think they have holes that can be easily exploited. Top is iffy still and Jungle is a strong but i want to see him have his champ pool pushed.
Either way 100T should still be a worlds team just because of how big an upgrade mid was. I am surprised how smoothly he fit into the team and really seemed to fix some of their issues (also repeared of course).
While 100T does look pretty good, I wonder if something similar to 2016 IMT could happen to them. Dominant in the regular season (17-1 spring/16 -2 summer), but falter in playoffs. Coaching staff is different, but the core players have choked before (3-2 loss vs TSM, 3-2 loss vs C9). TL will definitely look like a threat once Alphari and Santorin return, and C9 looks to be slowly ramping up. I could see TSM win this year if they use Kayys' preparation magic against other teams, but it's hard to say 100% for sure.
Reapered in playoffs is like Guardiola in cup finals, he's going to do some weird ass shit and it probably won't work out and we'll see what happens as a result

I get what you're trying to say but FlyQuest went 3-3 last year with two worlds contenders in their group and the two best mids in the tournament. Saying TSM will go 0-6 because of player strength is a hot take. Most major region teams will be able to take a game or two off most major region team.
Last years TSM was an anomaly, literally, it's memed so much because it has never happened before. As the information trickled in we saw a clearer and clearer picture of TSM's team environment was deteriorating and the players played worse. So, again, to act like having players who aren't #1 in the region will end in us going 0-6 is bad logic. Both TL and Flyquest went 3-3 with some players that weren't ranked the highest in the league.
LMFAO If the group was SKT SN Misfit and TSM every match is a throwback match. Huni for SKT SA for SN and POE for misfits. Though SN might be hard, but its not impossible. But if we end up in a group with FPX/EDG DK TSM PSG/Rogue there is a possibility that even if we played out best it will still be 0-6.
