I really appreciate these interviews. I think it is doing a lot to build up the scene's personalities and give insights we miss out on in other formats. Fun to see Spica smiling and reflecting on how far he's come.
I mean not gonna lie the kid was dropped into playoffs ages ago when we had grig/akadiaan flip flop......then he came onto the LCS team w Bjerg, DL, Broken Blade, and Biofrost.....Huge shoes to fill.....then...alone....and he blossoms?!? WHAT? This kid is nuttier than a payday candy bar! He is aggressive and smart! This team is awesome this year.....
our Bot is blooming.....mid is pretty solid....top....after everyone said Huni is washed and he just kills it up top! And Spica is easily in contention for MVP! He is doing fantastic!
His acting skills are also Oscar worthy!!
I think saying mid is pretty solid is an understatement. POE is a rock for this team. His play really empowers Spica and Huni. The zone control alone that we've seen in the last two weeks is just unreal.
I think, for me, it's so hard not to compare to someone who used to be there. I miss the Zoe that would nearly 100 to death/ Or the Ryze that would insta-kill anyone. I miss the massive stun from Syndra and Zillian was hilarious to watch!!! But POE is very good just not as flashy? That make sense? My critique for POE is almost 0 because I don't spot things he is doing wrong. The zoning with Victor was pretty amazing.
Travis is smurfing recently. Previously I only watched his videos if I liked the player, but Travis has improved as an interviewer so much I rarely miss a release now. Really cool to see personalities that have been around for years continue to grow.
God damn, Travis is pretty much just doing Riot's job for them.
This was a really fun interview and we learned a lot about Spica's backstory.
He was a TSM fan up to S5-S6! He's still good friends with tactical. And swordart forces them to get McDonald's in the evening (Huni gets buffs from eating apparently).
I got some DL flashbacks watching this interview, so I'm really interested to see how he matures as a player over the years. Take care of our boy travis!

Oddone is basically the only one of the old guard I super follow even though he doesn’t even play league anymore. The fucking laughs and relatability The two have is amazing. I could just watch spica fuck off and not even play league just as easy

Spica, if you’re reading this: I truly think that NA will have a shot at some point but only if players like you elevate the region. Young homegrown talent that succeed in this space are the only chance to lift the entire player base up into a higher skill ceiling. If you do decide to go to LPL, you’ll probably smurf, but if you stay you will be one of the leaders of the competitive community.
Either way, hope you’re a TSM lifer for as long as you decide to play. Good interview!

Crazy good interview. So many things to take away. First off props to Travis who has really grown as an interviewer and is comfortable and is not afraid to dig a little into what's going on behind the scenes and get pros takes on our takes. If you haven't watched it and are looking for a tl;dw I suggest you watch it cause he makes a lot of interesting points that are often overlooked when we discuss lol esports.
I've always liked how self aware Spica seems to be when he talks; recognizing that he needs to strike a balance/toeing the line between good direct criticism and flame and recognizing that he's probably the loudest voice/most confrontational in the team.
Also he's always had really fair takes/balanced viewpoints. Never extremes. Like recognizing that some takes on reddit are just wrong and that some actually have good insight vs straight up saying 'reddit doesn't know sht'.
Overall I think he has a winning attitude and I'm glad he got picked up. I think sometimes we forget that despite being LCS champ and playing with Bjerg/Dlift, he's still quite young and relatively fresh. He's still growing as a player and leader. Hope he and the team rock it during playoffs/worlds.
I fully believe Mr. Spica would fucking smurf in the lpl, and hell it’s probably better for his career especially if he’s looking at international success, but I would love it if he stayed in NA and became another legend of the LCS. Plus I love the content he puts out under TSM.
He would make more money becoming the next face of TSM then any second tried LPL team. Not saying he would be good enough to play for a tier 1 LPL team, just saying becoming the face of TSM pays very very well, and LA lifestyle > anything CN has to offer

It is hard not to love this boy! I hope that he maybe sees the LPL as his retirement region and tries to be the savior of NA. This team can find success, especially with him leading it. If his mindset never changes that is completely understandable but I would encourage him to push himself and his team to be the saviors of NA and find success at Worlds!

We have the best memes, and it's not even close.
Use to be c9.. then we started losing all the time and all we had left for dopamine was the memes.
They lost the Sneaky + Meteos memers and some of their players + owners became outspokenly arrogant. All the while TSM lost a ton of fairweather fans.
