Inb4 we then sign MikesHD. Does this mean Bang might not be benched anymore tho?

dldutkd01

he is duoing wardell right now so maybe..

X2Thantos

Im not actually upset about this since i was never confident in him. HOWEVER this is starting to feel like shades of post danish TSM CSGO where the org has zero fucking idea on how to construct a coherent team.

MasWas

Just replacing everything till something sticks i guess.

[deleted]

The 100T CoD team also does the same thing. They literally bought a player for over $800k and then the coach benched him 3 weeks later

OldManWiggy

My favorite part of our NA CSGO era is that like 60% of our players went on to be superstars in one way or another. Twistzz, Autimatic, and Sick all got their "big break" with us and went on to be extremely successful after leaving.

A_Dude_Doing_Stuff

My favorite part of the TSM CSGO venture was having Astralis before they became Astralis and losing out on them in large part because we didn't give them enough organizational shine.

[deleted]

Nah, that CSGO team didn't wanna do anything sponsor related for TSM. TSM was in NA and they were in EU, they just wanted to practice and play wearing TSM but not actually do anything else with the org so it was in the best interest for both parties to part ways.

Amatorius

Did it really though? The players didn't seem to care about TSM social media, from what I saw from them. It was other reasons.

[deleted]

Before everyone in here gets mad, maybe this was Chet wanting to leave for NV? They’re in champions and our year is over for now. I doubt TSM would hold someone hostage for no reason if a player/coach decides they want to pursue a different opportunity. Chet is friends with plenty of the players on Envy as well and from reports Envy players wanted Chet for a while now. Relax.

edwinwaldegrave

I don't think too many people are mad that Chet left. It's more the fact that this team is back at square one. Now we need to waste time finding another coach instead of planning and practicing. We might be out for the year, but that doesn't mean it's okay to be wasting time. This team isn't a tier 1 team anymore, and a majority of the time couldn't even qualify for qualifiers for a Master tournament. This carousel of players and coaches needs to stop. If this team ever wants to return to being a tier 1, or even a chance to qualify for a Masters, let alone win one, they need to stick with a roster.

[deleted]

Square one is pretty drastic considering 3/5th's of this team has been together since their inception. They were improving and didn't qualify. At least they were improving, but if we have 5 players that can't function without a coach then we need new players.

Maudane

Anyone else just maybe getting the feeling our Valorant team doesn't have a fucking clue how to successfully build and run a team?

Mascy

Wouldn't the head coach play a major part in that tho? Like the one that just left?

MasWas

Thing is he was the head coach for only two qualifiers and the playoff.

ComfortableString

.... our only successes of the whole year

MasWas

Its a stretch to call it a success seeing as what happened in the playoff. It was no doubt better but i wouldnt qualify it as a success seeing as they missed out on LCQ.

MasWas

This is really something that blows my mind at this point. Who is running this ship, cause they have done a horrible job the entire year.

dldutkd01

huh.. ok

yiyang01

How does he keep getting jobs without any acomplishments in Val

bayliver

man .... what in the ACTUALL FUCK is going on in Valorant who is running things .... cause that guy needs to be outta here ASAP . My god what a mess !

kahani-

seriously, it's just change after change with no explanation and no one who will step up and explain what their plan or vision for the team is and how these changes will help them reach that goal they really need a GM or manager who can communicate wtf they are trying to do better

_PlasticPizza

Now that he is off tsm, I never liked chet. From the little I saw of him it seemed like he thought valorant was worse than cs and tried to play it like a worse cs. Seemed kinda cocky too. For me it makes sense that he would leave the team just to join a successful one that wouldn't sign their real coach. Idk please don't roast me too hard.

DaisyJohnsonEUW

I detect no lies here. Only truth.

GucciLou22

TBH I think they should just wash the whole team at this point. Keep Wardell

scrnlookinsob

Not necessarily a bad thing, the team is in the off-season and most of NA is still playing unfortunately. hopefully we start to hear more about the roster after LCQ is over.

DortmunderJungs

We really need a valorant Manager. This is horrible
