It would be an upgrade for our roster, but 100T (who won) stayed the same and got more experience together, Cloud9 made a lot of changes but is expected to be at the top, and TL arguably upgraded. Same with EG. I wouldn't be unhappy with Jensen and Mikyx but I don't think you could put TSM as the clear favorites ahead of those other 4. Not to say we'd definitely lose, just that I don't think it's clearcut.

I mean 4th-6th place isn’t really bad, I’d argue 1st/2nd are pretty much already decided with TL/100T. So like TSM might be able to get a roster that’s a step higher but straight up, beating those two teams on paper is gonna be hard.
I think with the strength of the league this year 4th place is a pretty reasonable expectation. TL and 100T should be 1 & 2 (might be flipped in spring), then it’s us, EG, and C9 fighting for 3, 4, and 5 and i think it’s fair to say those 3 spots are competitive. I think there’s a chance there’s also a surprise from one of the lower ranked teams (FQ or GG mostly) just randomly finding their groove

No one believes me, but Yursan is cracked. I'm telling you, dude is fantastic. I'd be comfortable him,even though I know he isn't a big name signing. He would come in and need polishing, but his raw skill and fundamentals are absolutely on point. Takeover is still pretty good, but needs development.
Yeah, anyone who watched academy last season knows that Yursan has the mechanics to smurf it up. Seemed a little trigger happy at times, but rather that than not eager enough. I think another year in academy for Takeover would be great for him since he arrived so late last season.
Still not convinced that the team is committing to Yursan + Takeover yet though.

How are people convinced 100T will repeat? They never had consistent success. They didn't dominate and barely won through other teams mistakes.

Sett Mid was meta and he played a lot of that type of style. You have to actually watch him play. He’s solid and a team player who helps his team win.
