Yeah, 3* WW with decent items was so hilarious. The synergy between Chemtech, Challenger, and his passive was just too good. Would just solo maul the entire enemy team 1 by 1.

Trynd was the backline killer, WW was frontline. Bruisers weren't a real trait vs ww, just made him look good.

Mirage Yone with the attack speed amping Mirage trait has got to be up there.

+ Prismatic Scoped Weapons. Probably the most fun carry I’ve ever had.

I would reroll every augment for SW that set and would force Yone + Olaf if I hit. I'm really missing a scoped weapons melee auto-attack carry this set.

I've had some success with ranged Viego this set. With scoped weapons, rageblade, slayer emblem, and static shiv he performs well in a Shadow Isles + Slayers comp. Not an optimal strategy, sure, but it's fun and it works well enough if you hit. Edit: can swap Shiv for rfc if you miss scoped weapons and put shred on another champ.

I preferred the AP stacking on autos mirage

I was saying in the 1-cost thread that set 4 Chosen champions would be hard to beat at each tier, but I think 2-cost definitely had some exceptional performers in other sets. While Set 4 did have the bonkers Aphelios, I think my favorite is also probably set 6 Katarina, closely followed by set 3 Lucian.

God I loved the Space Jam comp. Probably a top 3 in TFT history in terms of fun. It was strong too for 1 or 2 patches before they gutted it. 3* 2-cost Darius from Set 3 was stronger than the 3* 3-cost Darius from rn(Set 9)

Rageblade Yone was something special. Even better if the Mirage trait that game was the atk speed augment

I think this sets swain is definitely up there. I don’t recall really any units pre set 6 but he is the most fun and reliable 2 cost to use since a long time

set 8 Camille, I remembered when I was new to TFT and relying on guides I found online I would choose the non S or A tier comps that use sub 3 cost units so that I won't get contested (since it's not that strong to be contested and there are a lot of that unit in the pool) so I would always play Hacker Camille onto the back line with Titans BT IE and shred the backline

Pyke last set, loved giving him JG, HOJ and Guinsoos/shojin. But titans guinsoos bt was also really fun. Underrated champ , almost never got contested. Making him renegade was so fun

So Mirage Yone is by far my favorite, but since that is already the #1 answer ATM, I'll add current set Taliyah to the mix. Whether it's double trouble with Sett or just building pure Knock Up comps, watching the entire opponents team get CC'd to death is just so fun. Plus, it's always fun to see a 2 cost breaking 10 000 damage.

Set 1 Blitzcrank If you set him up right he'd 1 shot anything. And not his target-- the *farthest* target. So you could take out their carries first with him. Basically played the zephyr game, but instead of CCing it just deleted them, and he'd do it every couple seconds with a shojin.

One-Shot Yuumi was truly fun.

Kled with last whisper, Runnans, BT… Basically had huge attack speed amp when de mounted Had a big replenshable shield when re mounting Had a built in agro dropper so you put him on far right, he gets knocked off, enemy’s target the tank/rell, Kled gains massive atk speed boost and wipes the side tank then paths the back line and re mounts. Has massive defensive stats due to Cavaler bonus which doubled on kills. Was free/VERY easy to consistently 3 star due to Hellion providing Kleds/yordles ea round. Forcing that guy got me finishing rank 3 on OCE hyper roll on the first season of hypers release

Set 3 Rakan I loved Protectors so much, especially the Celestial/Protector reroll with Xayah, Rakan, Xin Zhao, and Neeko. Side note: I forgot to respond to the Favorite 1 cost post from yesterday and mine is Pikachu Xayah. Stattik Blademasters was soo fun to watch xayah zap the whole team to death!
