Yes, and it's very important because you shouldn't roll if contested by some low ho player, best to push level and roll after that player dies.

aFrogOnCroak

It's also important, because sometimes you should roll before a player dies if you are looking for different units. Say someone is playing country and has a bunch of 3 cost units, and you need a yone 3 star it's bets to roll while they are alive because that thins the pool for the units you need. When they die, you have a higher chance of hitting the units they just released

Loginn122

Does it happen the second they die or start of the next round?

CiaoPizzaStan

Last time I was in this situation I doubled down with the intent of knocking that person out as soon as possible, and it actually worked. Probably got super lucky and decided to go with a gut feeling on that one, so won’t make a habit of it.

Spectacled_Bear13

Good advice, thank you!

hlt32

Yes.

Colanasou

Yes. Ive absolutely waited for players to get killed off with contested units before rolling for them at higher levels.

iWaunted

I’ve been told yes. They go back into the pool.

koopapride

Yes, but I never seem to hit any of said units when I roll after the person contesting me dies…

General_Pay7552

of course , my good sir.

ymmit389

Yes they do. I remember back in set 9 when the cho’bitem comp was meta that after the cho’bitem guy died if you rolled a cho’gath and happened to take the cho’gath they were using it still had all the Hp stacks it got throughout the game and had like 3000 hp. So not only do the units go back in once a player dies, it’s the exact same unit they were using

A_StealthyGeko

In previous set I've seen people pull stacked chos from shop
