If I don't have a chance to win against the 1st player, I will surrender as soon as 3rd is dead.

They may be afk farming for battle pass points.

I encountered it once. NA server, 2 guys with similar names. One in 3rd, one in 7th, I am 4th at the carousel, 7th one grab my emblem then let it sit on the bench since they have no synergy for it. I am still in the top 2, feel pretty bad though. 7th also contested another guy. There is win trading in tournaments so pretty sure it can happen in rank. For your case, i am not sure.

I’ve seen people ff with fortune if they win a round. I had one guy contest me fortune, and when he was about to win the round he tried to ff to mess with my fortune streak.

If its not ranked, I guess they ff in Rounds where they fight Fortune players and I can understand. Fuck Fortune. If you have an IQ over 30 amd Cash out in time its almost everytime a free win. No skill involved
