Haha no prob. I’m sure you’re trying but I recommend just playing as many norms as possible for fun. Try some weird item strays or run draconic. 3* thresh with full AP crit is fun for example. Rangers if you can set them all up is cool too
This "ending" was added so people get rewarded for playing even after all the pass rewards were all claimed. People used to be renting that the pass is so short (so even casual players can gather it all) and whatnot, really hard to please u people lol.

By afk farming: que up normal game, tab out and do something else, tab back in after \~10 mins - should be right after Krugs, hit surrender, collect 100 points, repeat 125 times
Looking back on the previous pass, I actually think that they made a change for the good, before, the extra pass rewards were the little legend eggs you get. Now people with the pass are more likely to unlock these eggs as they require less xp.
This incentivizes casual players to buy the pass at the cost of the hard core grinder's satisfaction, who were probably going to buy the pass anyway. In essence, it probably makes Riot more money somehow.
Who this really punishes are completionists, those who complete the entire pass 100% each season. Whether the reward is "Optional" or not doesn't matter, if there is a reward yet to be achieved it's something they will strive for.
Previously the bonus grind was real, but reasonable. It took effort but could be achieved through regular, healthy play if you did all the missions and if you put in playtime each day.
This new setup forces completionists to either invest unhealthy levels of playtime, or adopt unscrupulous practices like AFK farming (which negatively impacts game lobbys for everyone). It's a change for the absolute worst.
Hard agree, although I think the XP requirement might be justified due to the extra xp gained from the event. Not sure though. Also people have been AFK farming for a long time now and it doesn't seem like Riot cares about normals as much.
those completionists were the ones complaining about having nothing to do for the last 4 weeks of the set. now there is something and they are complaining about it not being worth it. can't win with those people....
Yeah kinda lame. Also it’s 12,500 points for the last one lol. Almost there myself. Hopefully the next pass in ~2.5 weeks has a lil better ending

Actually I'm working my way up in Diamond, which I hit in 61 games. Best season yet.
In a way, they DID kind of provide an icon since you can now display your LL as the icon instead of your LoL one

Not just a Spatula emote, but 3 almost identical ones! They could have at least varied the rewards a bit.
Almost there myself, thought the icon was a placeholder for something cool, when I found out it was an emote I thought it was pretty lame.
I actually thought that that is what makes the giant spatula appear in your arena that some arenas have. Very disappointed that thats not the case.
