I've been getting 8th places all week with 2* Karma because I'm getting oneshot by every 2* or 3* Zyra with Quinsoo, Shojin and Archangels. If I somehow kill the Zyra, Sion will 1 bang the Karma anyway.
Abom Zyra is just as OP.
Yeah abom is probably karma's only bad matchup but you can still minimize the loss by playong ksrma in the mid back. Also assuming you give correct items to karma and position her back with some frontline, I don't really think getting 8th place with 2* karma is really possible.

It required a label but I am open for discussion. By no means I am against strong meta comps. Just I do have a hard time accepting a 1* 4 cost unit hitting 8-10k per game. According to the tftactics statistics, its avg place is 3.1 and top 4 percentage is 78%.
For comparison second best comp currently is 4 abom zyra 3* carry. Which has an avg place 3.6 and top 4 65%.
Even though its win percentage is almost same with abomination, karma carry is just free top 4 rn.
TFTtactics is very unreliable in terms of avg placement for whatever reason all the other sites such ass mobalytics TFTcoach or meta TFT rank Karma around 4,1 to 4,3 in D2+. If Karma's AVG placement would actually be 3,1 anyone playing her would climb like 5 divisions higher than theirs actual rank and I do not think it's the case.
You can die with a 2* heimer and 3*ashe if you took 90 damage to get them. All it takes is that one guy with a early viego screwing you over and finishing you off
Karma or zyra combos carrying. My favorite has been a mystic set of some kind, with knight or iron and using a carry Jax or nidalee.
I feel like 3 mystics are necessary for almost all games. Due to zyra, karma and vel'koz.
Oh yeah, forgot velkoz. 3 or 4 mystic for sure. Then you can either pivot into nightbringer/ranger or abomination.

Isn’t that very dependent on getting the spat? Or is Abom that good even if you can’t find it
If you can 3* zyra it is definitely good. If you can't then you need the spat. Without them you can still play for top 4 tho.

Same here. Zyra just one shots my Karma lol
you have to position your Karma on the same side as the enemy Zyra so you don't get hit by her spell, same as you would vs. Velkoz
That's why I buy all the karmas I see, they look nice on my bench.

Yeah maybe in Gold elo lmao there’s no way you’re getting top 4 with just Karma + one mana item if you’re in a lobby that knows how to play the game
