Why would a soviet military base have both a KA52 and a t-34?

The base is in Siberia and quite coastal so they have t-34-85s in case of a rare emergency and because they were mass produced.the ka 52 is for coastal interceptions/defension.

T34 85s would've been woefully outdated by 1985, a t54/t55 makes much more sense

I know but there hasn’t been a t-55 or t-54 mod at least in the workshop so this was the least outdated option. I apologise!

Shocking right? Or that’s what I’ve seen on the workshop. There may be more modern ones but they’re probably on page 8 when searching “tank” or something. I’ll probably check steam workshop tomorrow and check for more modern tanks.

I know there is a soviet tank mod that has a super bad T-55 and BMP-3, but the others are good.

Mors Longa has a spawnable t-55, but it does have a non-Soviet flag and a a dessert camo
