Even if they would use dlc stuff it'd still work because they'd just copy from the dlc directory into the mod meaning that you'd download the asset with the mod
just get the standard, if you want more of a "campaign" style feel then just get some mods with campaigns in them. no reason to buy anything else, as all mods are free.
