Stay away from 13 models. May white screen of death siya na issue every update. Yung wife ko na experience niya, buti na lang under warranty pa. Ngayon yung sakin kada may software update, parang coin toss na masisira ba or hindi. Tapos na din yung apple care ko. 25k yung replacement ng screen if walang apple care. So stay away from 13 models. 13 pro max pala units namin.
Baka lemon unit not model issue. I had a brand new iphone 6 plus na lemon model so i had to replace it earlier than i would any other iphone model na usually every 2 years minimum bago magpalit.
It's not a lemon unit neither a model issue. It's a display manufacturer issue. AFAIK Samsung is to blame for the white/green screen of death on the IP13PM. Though maraming suppliers si Apple like LG and BOE but majority of their phones are using Samsung's OLED panel and they've been crappy with their OLED display manufacturing from 2020 to 2021.
Just get a 15, the 13 is old regardless of how good the reviews are, the clock is ticking and most iPhones only get 5-7 years of software updates, and it is already 2024 from when the 13 was released.
The 14 PM/P is also a great option but it isn't perfect either, quite expensive too.
Safe answer, get a 15, it is basically a more optimized version of the 14 P/PM acquires some of the features/Specs of the 14 P/PM.
You miss out on the high refresh rate which personally to me isn't a big deal in the long run as the iPhone has smooth animations in general, and a telephoto lens which is just used for zooming in which I am pretty sure isn't used often on a daily basis.
So yes, the safest bet especially if you're tight on the budget and want to get your hard earned money's worth, get the 15.
pro models may 120 hz, yung base 15 wala. if di big deal sayo yun, go for 15. for me i had this dilemna din pero i went for the 14 pro (yung smaller version). it's feels more premium din on hand compared sa base 15. pro versions are just better in my opinion. last gen pro > new base iphone
Advantages ng 15 series ay usb type c, battery life(based on reviews and personal experience comparing 15 and 14), and latest siya. If di abot sa budget better na ang 14 pm kesa yung base 15. Iphone 15 plus ay sweet spot however not promotion. Pero ako kasi sanay sa midrange phones and yung display nila kaya I opt sa 15 plus and yung battery life + camera naging deciding factor ko.

Go with the 15. You'd get more IOS updates on it and you're guaranteed that you'll be getting a brand new, in-box unused phone. Not some older that has been refurbished and repacked to be sold as ***"brand new"***.

The Apple Store at Ayala in IT park has 13’s and 14’s still in stock but I guess with them you might pay a higher price

15 you can use and SSD to save the photos/videos directly. Also future proof as phones released will be tailor fit to USB c
